it is absolutely cozy and clean Allen is really nice person

The only negative point is that the property is located in a part of the city that there are many homeless and addicted people. They are not dangerous or offensive, however it doesn’t seems pleasant to see them.

A Seaton Dream met all of our wishful expectations. Jamie was a very sincere, engaging host and a talented cook providing us with healthy breakfasts presented with a creative flair. Our room (The Retreat Room) was quiet, cosy, very functional and super clean. Breakfast was best when Jamie joined in the conversation as he offered personal stories and experiences that added significantly to the warmth of our stay.

As a city, Toronto reflects the challenges of a modern society, where too many of the residents struggle to overcome their challenges on a daily basis, however A Seaton Dream is an oasis of calm, caring and hospitality for those lucky enough to stay there.

The home is beautiful, and you really feel like you're staying at a friend's place. We had a balcony on our room, which was a huge plus. Jaime and Alan are very kind hosts. The immediate neighborhood is full of cute homes, and the street parking was pretty simple, even on a Friday evening. We really hope to come back again!

The literal only downside to the location is that the nearest public transit is the TRAM station on Dundas St., which was a very dicey area, and not ideal for people from out of town to navigate. We felt more comfortable taking Ubers because of that.

We didn’t meet Jamie but Alan was a great host, who couldn’t do enough for you. The house is a 20 minute walk to downtown. Room was spacious and comfortable. Great shower. The Breakfasts were fantastic and we enjoyed our chats with Alan. On the day of checkout as we had an early flight Alan prepared a take away breakfast for us.

Nothing to dislike.

Had a perfect stay here. The place is an old Victorian style home with a sleek and modern feel inside. The room was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. My room had a spa bath which was amazing. Jamie and Alan are excellent hosts, friendly and accommodating and took care of everything I needed. The breakfast was exceptional, and different every day. The location is a bit out of the way if you need to be super close to the subway, but is close by to the trams and within reasonable walking distance to popular destinations like the distillery district and St Lawrence Market. Definitely recommend, and would stay again if I can!

Seaton street is very quiet. I was in the Street facing suite and there were no sound issues. The room is very comfortable with the right amount of amenities. Alan was a very friendly and helpful. I felt very welcomed. The airport transfer was a great bonus.

The area is not the most convenient but did enjoy the neighbourhood feel. I received good advice as to where to and not to walk.

Jamie and Alan were gracious hosts who assisted us in finding restaurants nearby and routes to downtown. The breakfasts were delicious (thanks, Jamie) and very generous. Our room was spacious and charmingly decorated, the bed was very comfortable. We could not have had a better place to stay during our visit to Toronto.

Nothing could have been better! Our hosts were helpful in every way. There is really nothing that we didn't like.

I lucked into a room at this B&B for one night, before taking possession of my new apartment in Toronto. The experience was SO MUCH BETTER than staying at some random chain hotel downtown, and also cost less than the going rate at said chain hotels. The hosts were super kind and went above and beyond, carrying my very heavy suitcase, calling me a taxi (and calling to check on it when it didn't come right away), and making me an incredible breakfast. The room itself was also beyond my usual downtown-hotel expectations: it had tons of storage, which I appreciated even though I didn't need it this time, and it was nicely appointed. The best part of the room was the balcony - I enjoyed sitting out there and relaxing before and after supper.

The only thing that could be improved is the soundproofing. I could hear people downstairs / in the hall etc pretty easily from my room. This wasn't actually a problem for me, as there wasn't any noise late at night / early in the morning.

The location and property were lovely. It felt like staying at home away from home. Our host Alan was extremely friendly, conversational and attentive, and responded to any questions or needs we had within minutes. The room decor was eclectic and unique, and the bed was responsible for some of the best sleep we've ever had. The host gave us multiple recommendations for walking distance restaurants, which resulted in a wonderful dinner.

The bnb was charming and very clean, with a good bed, and close enough to walk downtown. Jamie was a great host and cooked very healthy, tasty breakfasts each day. We met interesting fellow travelers for breakfast chats.

Nothing was uncomfortable. The jacuzzi bath was enormous so i had to hold on not to slide down. Felt good after walking.
