The location of the hotel is excellent, nearby nice bars and restaurants. The staff of the hotel is simply amazing. They responded promptly in any request or assistance that we asked.

We stayed for 8 nights and we booked the Queens Room. The room was spacious but we missed a proper wardrobe and some furniture in the bathroom to leave our staff. For 8 days a more functional room was needed. However, as we have been told by the staff, some other rooms had this option. So it is nice to pay attention on that in case you are staying for more than 4 days. Moreover, a proper lobby in the reception shall be considered by the hotel management.

We were very happy with our stay at the Anndore House. The location cannot be beat. It’s very close to the subway station, and walking distance to excellent shopping and restaurants. The layout of our room was particularly enjoyable. We had the king loft room and loved that the shower and toilet were separate from the sink and closet area. The room was spotless and nicely decorated. We appreciated having the little sitting area sit enjoy a drink or snack. We were able to ask for extras such as bathrobes, slippers, and deodorant. Thank you!

The breakfast staff were very lovely, but a few things about breakfast could be better. it would be nice to have a variety of hot items that change daily. We had scrambled eggs and bacon each of the 5 days of our stay. I would have appreciated something different such as fried eggs, hard boiled eggs, or sausages. However, the breads, pastries and everything else were home made and tasted really good.

I've stayed at Anndore House several times and I thoroughly enjoy it every time I return. It was nice to see the hotel in a post-pandemic phase, with a more open receoption area and expanded offerings from the hotel restaurant. The rooms are spacious, the beds are very comfortable, the location is exceptional, and the restaurant and bar are excellent. I also really like the ability to get a pass to the full-service gym a block from the hotel.

After several stays, I'd just say exterior screens on the windows would be nice. The weather was exceptional and I liked having the windows open at night for the fresh air but, without screens, bugs did get in at times.

Location is great, walkable, but also great with public transport. Rooms quiet big, with a nice seat, everything was there. Nice place nearby for breakfast café 7 west (2min walk), worth a visit. Nice food and staff. And le croissant (4min walk), try the pancakes. Also nice to start the day. Afghan restaurant around the corner, nice for a quick diner.

Breakfast was a bit overpriced for the choice you get : suggest to go out for breakfast. Bar closes at 10pm, and we arrived at the same time. After a long travelday it was nice to have a cold drink. On Saturday there was a private party so the bar was also closed. If we knew in advance we took a beer somewere else. On the other hand, enough places around...

The hotel was gorgeous and comfortable. Very nice atmosphere. The hotel staff was fantastic--from the minute we pulled up, we were greeted with friendly and helpful people. It was our first time in Toronto, and the front desk staff was very kind and helpful in answering our questions. The valet staff was very nice and helpful as well. The beds were comfortable and the room was quiet. Overall, we would stay here again.

In the hotel itself, the room was comfortable, but the window blinds didn't keep the light out in the morning. There are also barely any hooks or places to hang tiles in the bathroom. If you're traveling with a family and want to reuse your towels (as they suggest you do), this makes it difficult. The restaurant is lovely but very expensive for family meals. The location of the hotel is just "ok." It is certainly walkable, but there is a homeless camp at a building nearby, which made us uncomfortable. This part of Toronto seems a bit more run-down than other parts of downtown--there are a number of older, sketchy-looking storefronts and homeless people scattered about. There is a lot of nearby construction so hopefully this will improve.

Room was spacious and lovely, very comfortable. Hotel was quiet and pleasant, bar and restaurant were great!

No room service, aside from being able to have food from the restaurant sent up. But restaurant hours are limited. Would have been great if the room had a coffee maker instead of instant coffee packets (couldn’t get coffee ordered to the room at 9:30am on a Saturday). TV in the room was a little glitchy. Kind of random, but the toilet paper and tissues in the room felt very cheap, like sandpaper. Good to note that the neighbourhood itself is very limited in terms of bars and “late night” spots for food or drinks (anything past 11pm).

Lovely staff, very comfortable and attractive arty hotel. Security was excellent. Room so lovely, comfortable Ed, huge tv great shower and plenty of well designed space. Very attractive!

There is a homeless shelter next door, in the alleyway view from room people we’re taking drugs. I’m a mental health nurse and very aware of the potential dangers. Mostly people went about their business, but a few watchful characters were unnerving. Close to downtown and the rainbow friendly eateries. Felt safer there.

The property is beautiful. Renovated within the last 6 years and beautiful touches added for a luxurious feel. The staff were quite helpful ! The hotel is really good location for doing stuff around the city

The tvs didn’t have streaming apps downloaded so mirror sharing, connecting through an hdmi cord or the browser was the options. I’m not sure if maybe front desk could’ve helped but I didn’t call

The rooms were incredible, the retro style was amazing. The industrial piping for the electrical and water was a really cool touch. All lights for the entire room at a touch next to the bed was great. The staff was wonderful. The added security of cards needed for elevators/front doors after hours was a safe feeling. Definitely will stay at this funky hotel again!

The price point for two rooms for one night was very steep, but the staff, room set up, and feel of the hotel made up for that. The needle on our record player didnt work (Room 309) I was very much looking forward to that to really enjoy the retro feel, but we used a bluetooth speaker and let a record spin for that fake vinyl feeling!
