Excellent service every day. Breakfast has many options and the hours were great. Jairo, server, was a standout. Dinner at 43 and Tony Romas also very good. Server Edgar at Tony Romas was a standout. Front desk staff and bellman very eager to assist. The Spa staff also very helpful. Location was optimal, short walk to shopping dining and night life.

None of the restaurants featured flowers or centerpiece on tables. If only a salt shaker is set on the table, at least it should be filled. We were waiting for a ride and decided to sit in 43 so we would be out of lobby but still see the car arrive, shortly before lunch service, yet we were told by server that we couldn't order a bottle of water. Minor points, but at a 5 star property we expected those touches. Also, while our meals were very good, we did not have a manager check our tables at any meal time.

a bit outdated, no smart TV (no Netflix, Hulu,etc) old toilets that take forever to flush and waste water, shower door makes a lot of noise. the rooms need to be upgraded! not enough tables available for breakfast so needed to wait to get used tables cleaned.

When i booked i said to the front desk that my girlfriend who lives in Medelli would visit and they said you only need to register her. Which we did and yet they charged an additional 100K COP for her visit. I understtand there are measures to prevent sex tourism by men who bring a different girl to the hotel nightly but this was the opposite. It left a bad taste in mouth as its the only place ive stayed at Medellin that has ever done that. I wont return subsequently as it just reeked of a gringo tax.

VERY Formal Old Style Hotel....comes with heavy handed multiple layers of external and lobby security which left me with an uneasy and uncomfortable feeling. Would NOT allow "guests" to visit unless P99,000 was paid....totally ridiculous. Nice well landscaped Poblado location across from large shopping malls ....great breakfast buffet . They have a very similar "sister" property with the same name - less than a mile away - had two taxi drivers take me to the wrong property - so be sure to give your Taxi the precise address - not just the hotel name.

The hotel was extremely nice in a beautiful area of Medellin. Very walkable with many restaurants and an abundance of night life close by. The staff at the hotel was extremely helpful and service oriented. They made sure that your every need was met. A special shoutout to the gentlemen up front, Diego and Giovanny, who always met you with a greeting and a smile and were always right there to see if they could offer any assistance. The suite was beautiful, and the views of Medellin were simply amazing. If you are looking for a tour or a ride somewhere, cannot recommend Tattiana and Edwin more highly. They will give you the personal touch, and make sure that you have a wonderful experience. Highly recommend a stay at this property. If you are disappointed you need to rethink your expectations, because it will meet all of them.

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner were fantastic. We had specific requests and all were complied with promptly. The room was spotless and the housemaid was very attentive and friendly. In the early evening, they returned to ask if we needed anything. The location is perfect for our purposes, We could walk safely and reach the various shopping malls within a few minutes. The bell boys too were very attentive to our needs. In one word perfect.

The restaurant 43rd Street had a lot of sun in the afternoon. We have been in the hotel from May 2 to May 10. Some form of shade would be excellent.

Dann Carlton Medellín is so far the best hotel I have had stay in Medellín. The staff is super nice, humble and cater to all my needs. The restaurants are amazing, good food, breakfast everyday is awesome, the staff (again) are amazing, always willing to help you, serve you, they are friendly!!! Relaxing by the pool, is from another world, services there is also super amazing. Room services is TOP #1 in my book!!! This people are hard working, amicable, they really make you feel that you are at home away from your home... Definitely, I'm coming back to Medellín soon... And most definitely, I'll stay in Dann Carlton Medellín AGAIN... FOR SURE!!!!

I didn't liked that my stay there was for only 6 days.... I want to be there for a whole month!!!! I LIKED EVERYTHING IN THIS HOTEL!!!

Great location, exceptional service, and very comfortable rooms/beds. Highlight: the breakfast and obviously the staff, they all represent Calidad Molina (Molina's Quality - their great mentor is Manuel Molina, the General Manager).

The bathroom needs a bit of love (taps, sink, even the sliding door), and a better fan, mould on the bathroom walls due to the excess of humidity. The rooms, on the other hand, are in great condition. I missed the granadillas (delicious fruit), they used to be everywhere, it was a Dann Carlton signature. The lobby looks cold and a bit cheap with the neon-like night club light, the previous one with the clocks marking the time in different places was classic and elegant.

The bed was very comfortable, the room very clean and spacious. The breakfast is wonderful (huge!) with excellent coffee and service. It’s a nice hotel overall.

Sometimes the water was not hot. There are very few free amenities in the rooms (shampoo and soap only). Our sink did not drain well. At times the other people on our floor were very noisy early in the morning or very late at night. Perhaps some guidelines around appropriate, respectful noise levels in the halls, etc should be posted.

The rooms were nice and big. The breakfast was superb!!! Pool area was well serviced with towels and sun beds.

There is no bar. We were a large wedding party and this was annoying for a 5 star hotel. The reception wanted to overcharge me for 5 rooms. They had taken from my account the cost of 1 of the 7 nights I had booked for all 5 rooms but wouldn’t acknowledge this when we arrived and wanted to charge me the whole amount. It took ages to sort out over 2 days. We had travelled from Ireland to Colombia and could have done without this on our arrival. No one apologised. Serving staff spoke no English at all and were difficult to deal with. Again for a 5 star it’s not good enough. No hairdryer or iron in the room.
