Maistra Select Amarin Resort

The room was clean, comfortable and spacious with nearby car parking. It was a short walk to pools, beach and restaurant. Breakfast comprised a superb buffet. With our own car the town was easily accessed as were surrounding restaurants. After a hectic previous few days it was pleasant to rest here and appreciate the wonderful views of Rovinj in comfort.

Room air-conditioning settings are controlled by management. A week before summer and everything is still set on heating mode so we went to sleep with a room at 27 deg with windows open and no blankets until the apartment cooled down over night. There is a simple fix here that was not understood when I raised the issue!

We rested at Maistra Select Amarin Resort with family for 10 days in early September. The large two-story room had everything you need: two bedrooms, a kitchen with a large living room with a full set of dishes and kitchen equipment. The room was clean and towels changed daily. The great advantage of the hotel are a huge area, large beaches - open and in pine trees, a large warm bay, a great view of the Rovinj. Perhaps this is one of the best options in Croatia.

Check-in was relatively quick and there was not a long wait. Staff is friendly, helpful. Food: we had breakfast and dinner. There was more variety than we expected. Everyone found something they liked, and you could try new dishes. Free coffe, tea for breakfast. With superior type of accomodation we got free sunbeds and umbrella. Many sunbeds, in the forest too. After check-out we could still stay in the resort and use everything (except the room).

There was nothing we did'n't like. From the pictures we expected a slightly bigger room, but it was fine, and we hoped we got sea-view room but only a few apartments has real sea-view. (Too many people in the pools, but we didn't use the pools anyway, We went for the sea,)

Great location, pools and beach access. Also visiting Rovinj is very easy as there is a regular taxi boat service. Restaurants and all the facilities (sports/etc) are great, staff is super nice and quite a lot of entertainment available!

Noise soundproof could be better - we had noisy neighbours that woke up at 6am and made a lot of noise!! As the rooms or bedrooms seem pretty much wall to wall, it was not great. Noise from people walking around at night (teens) is also a minus point. Also it should be mentioned in the chosen apartment if the terrace is going to be on the top floor or ground floor as it makes a huge difference! (Top floor would be better as it has more light and therefore can be enjoyed more, ours was groundfloor and too much in the shadow.

Wonderful location, really close to the see and with an amazing view. The Maistra team were always proactive and helpful. The appartment was big enought for the whole family and the kitchen very useful when you have kids around.

Maintenance of the appartment could be a bit better, but nothing too serious.

Breakfast was delicious but a bit expensive, location very good and easy to find, but you need car if you want to go to the city center. Apartment was very clean and well equipped. Stuff very kind and friendly.

Bad should be more comfortable and towels could be better.

Perfectly located apartment very close to the sea, which was essential for me. Air-conditioned apartment for up to 6 people. The possibility of cooking smaller meals, but sufficient. Or the possibility to go for breakfast or dinner on the premises. It fully served its purpose.

the location was perfect! the beach was fully develop! the restaurant is also good, fair price for what they offer in the buffet! we got also an upgraded apartment mu from one bed room to double. it was really perfect for us to have more space👌. and lastly Taxi boat is available all day going to the city!

swimming pool was very nice, how ever to crowded during summer time. if in the future there will be an additional pool then it will be perfect!

Everything is just Peerfect. No need to worry about anything.Full comfortable for family.

-very friendly staff, Igor from the reception was very kind and helpful -very nice area with the swimming pool, especially the small one for kids -beach towels available for the guests -a lot of sun beds available all day long; no need to reserve it for the early morning

-we stayed 2 nights and there was no cleaning -limited selection for breakfast
