Breakfast was good, though pretty much same stuff every day.

Our check-in process. We arrived late at night (around 1:30). When we got to the hotel, no-one was there. We were tired after the long day, especially kids wanted nothing but just go to bed. I kept calling someone for around 10 minutes, no response. I noticed check-in cards and the the arrival form has been left behind the counter, I came over, took them and we went to our room. Few minutes later I got the call from the receptionist, he was fuming that I self-served myseld, didn't accept my explanation that it was late at night, we were tired etc. Unacceptable. Especially when he himself was well asleep and basically didn't hear me calling for someone:)

Loved my stay at Avanti Hotel , big swiming pool ( and yes the water is not ice cold but what do you expect when in Cyprus) good chooice in Breakfast there's enough to chooice from , and a big shout out to the lady who makes daily fresh ommelets or fryed egs . all the staff is really friendly , from frontdesk to housekeeping,they went above & beyond . The Hotel is a short 30 minute walk from the harbour & is in a quiet enviroment. you can't hear anything from the busy streets. The airco is really good working, so you can sleep in the cool room. the room is an ok size & I was lucky on the 5th floor you also could see the ocean . The coffee & soaps where daily refreshed (if you want more the 1 coffee buy some nestcafe in the hotelshop less than 2€) & the rooms where daily cleaned. Also the beds are really good ith 2 pillows There's also a refrigiator in the room , so you can buy you're own drinks & cool them. Also a little shop was in the hotel with basics to buy (and a lot of pool toys). there was also daily animation starting with a kids disco & then bingo or quiz . Not really my thing, But LOVED the Cypriotic dance night, those 2 guys where really making sure the audience was involved. we where a couple withhout kids, and most of the day away, if you want to have a hotel for the peace & quiet , it's not the place , this is a family hotel , with lots of kids enjoying the pool & the holiday.

a few small minuses 1st only 2 (English) plugs to re charge your items ( no usb) 2nd the light in the badroom , this is a bit dark. but I only used this for taking a shower & brush my teeth 3rd the evening animation, the girls & boy did there best but it was not really for me . and if you want to sleep early ( due to a day trip the next day sleeping before 23h was not really possible if you sleep on the pool side . 4th - not really the hotels fault, but the towel dropping before 07 on the chairs round the pool.

The hotel itself is nice, you can see it's renovated in the last 10 years. Our room was clean, AC worked properly, beds were really nice. I think i had one of my best sleeps there, they actually give you two proper pillows. We also had a small mini fridge, a balcony with a clothes-drying rack. Breakfast was nice, proper english breakfast with lot's of options. We also had one dinner at the hotel, but i don't recommend that it was not very good. The pool was nice and big. Staff is VERY nice! This hotel is for families, lot's of children. I wouldn't recommend this place to a couple but when you are looking for a family hotel, it's perfect for you!

The pool was very nice and big but getting a sunbed was awful. There is a rule that you can book a sunbed with your towel at 8am and you can only keep it an hour there. Well we got there like 7.59am and all of the sunbeds were already taken, people did not care about the 1 hour rule and also the staff. Some people did not get there after like 4 hours later, just occupying the sunbeds with their stuff. The bathroom is very dark, you don't have proper lighting in the bathroom which was a bit odd. The hotel itself is actually quite far from the restuarants and bars, it's about 25 minute walk from the promenade but in Cypruses heat the walk seems longer that it should be. There is couple of restaurants and bars near the hotel but we didn't think they were good.

Nice rooms, clean, friendly staff, nice reception area. Fantastic pool area

The entertainment was far too loud and late at night - the majority of customers didn’t engage in the night time entertainment. I couldn’t go to bed before 11pm every night as it was so loud (we were pool side) Far too late- British culture is much more geared to quiet time after 9pm/10pm. Would have been an absolute nightmare if we had had young children with us and wanted them in bed at 7pm Even our teenagers complained it was too loud- we wanted some family time in the bar area but it was hard to talk over the music. Ash- the entertainment manager was however amazing particularly with pool activities

Overall everything was really nice - helpful and friendly staff, good breakfast, with lots of room in the breakfast area inside and outside (heads off to the lady behind the omelette station, as this was the only place where sometimes there was a queue but even in that occasions, it was really fast), didn't spend much time by the pool but walking by, it seemed nice, clean and big with lots of sunbeds by the side, rooms are cleaned daily and are clean, the air condition works very well, we found a parking space for our rental every day and this one day we didn't, they kindly let us temporarily park in place where you are not supposed to. Nice location, short drive to beautiful beaches and other places. But there are lots of restaurants and bars around the hotel as well and it's 200 metres from the sea where there's a lovely promenade there which leads all the way to a busy street at the port (half an hour walk). By the promenade, there are many nice little beaches and swimming places all the way.

Nothing really. As the hotel is not new, it's a bit outdated inside at certain areas (the halls, elevators and other public places) but it did not bother at all since everything is very clean inside and outside and nothing is broken or worn-out

The staff were exceptionally nice at the hotel, very helpful and knowledgeable. Breakfast was nice and well organised, always plenty of food available and the staff working hard to keep it running smoothly. The location is great, with the beach close by and a nice stroll to the harbour. The pool was easy to get a spot after breakfast as there are plenty of loungers. My son and I had a great, relaxing time.

Very minor things (wouldn't put me off staying again) - cocktails weren't great, there were no plug sockets next to or near the beds, the room we had was a bit noisy with the traffic.

Good location, not far from the sea, among many restaurants and bars. They have a great pool with lots of trees and shade. A little green oasis in desert :) Great for kids. We also used the Avanti Village pool. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Although the breakfast was fine, it was the same every day, very English and monotonous. We would also expect at least one local dish. That's why we didn't take advantage of the dinner offer. The indoor breakfast area was not air-conditioned and consequently very hot.

An excellent welcome on arrival from the Yorkshire receptionist on duty. The room was as described, with the added suprise of complimentary wine and fruit which was a nice touch. Everything in the room worked! The hotel was very clean and appeared to be very well managed. The staff at the swim up bar were super - very efficient and friendly. Plenty of sun beds on the terraces with a good mixture of full sun or shaded areas under the trees for sun bathing.

The bathroom was very dark. Brighter lighting would be an advantage. The dining room at breakfast would benefit from air conditioning. The "animators" used up much of the shallow part of the pool for exercises in the morning and ball games in the afternoon which was a nuisance for weak swimmers. The pool bar closed at 18.00hrs which seemed rather early for high season.

We stayed in this hotel with family. Staff left extra cot bed for our little one and extra bed for son, uppon request. Rooms were cleaned every day. Towels changed also every day. We had breakfast included, no words to add for breakfast as food was various and delicious. Special thanks for lady who is cooking omelettes and pan cakes. Hotel is around 25-30min away from city center. So You can take a walk along the sea or ride a bus. There are few different restaurants across the street and near the hotel. So basically I do recommend this hotel and would stay again.

Most annoying thing was that room card’s went out if you put them near the phone. So needed to change them few times. That was the only inconvenience.

The hotel has nice facilities - great pool area, lots of sun loungers, indoor pool, gym, etc. The bedroom had a good size and a balcony with table & chairs (do ask for a pool-facing room!). The bed was huge and super comfortable. Wide selection of international TV channels. Breakfast was good and there was a lot of choice. Everything was very clean and well kept. The reception and breakfast staff were friendly and attentive to the guests needs. There were complimentary wine and fruits in the bedroom when we arrived, a nice touch.

Bar staff were inexperienced and the cocktails weren't good. Every evening there is some sort of outdoor entertainment (music, bingo, etc) until about 11pm. IMO that was way too loud. Even from your room, you have no choice but to listen to it. Room service were not changing our wine and water glasses, despite those being clearly dirty. Finally, one day there was a false fire alarm; staff do need more training on how to handle these matters. There were no apparent fire wardens and no one seemed to be in charge or know what was going on.
