The hotel is new, extremely clean, and well designed. The location is perfect and surrounded by fun/interesting things to do in Old Town. 20 minutes walking distance from practically everything "to do and see" in central Prague. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The food and coffee are fantastic. It's also connected to a great bar for drinks (not associated with the hotel). We both got massages in the hotel's spa, which is beautiful -- high marks! Excellent value overall.

Keeping in mind that pillow preference is totally subjective: the pillows on the beds flatten very easily (there's little to no structure to them). We like more firm pillows, and this hotel's pillows don't provide any support. Also, we requested an ironing board twice and both we're broken. We were able to make them work, but I would recommend the hotel purchase new ironing boards. It's a small expense, and the experience of receiving a broken item twice didn't fit with the overall top-tier experience of the hotel.

Best location in Prague. The hotel was meticulously conceived in architectural and decoration details. The owner is probably a borderline psychopath in perfectionism. Staff is well trained. Very comfortable and bathroom amenities are great. The Café is amazing with very warming service.

Overall cleaning was great, except for the bedroom and bathroom floors that could be better. Also, unfortunately we had an issue with one of the bath robes that not only were not washed, but it had an used tissue paper in its pockets.

The Maximilian is a small boutique-style hotel in a very walkable but relatively quiet location in the old town. The staff were all very welcoming and helpful throughout our one week stay. We found the room to be very comfortable and intelligently designed with lovely layered lighting, good storage and seating, comfortable beds, etc. We also appreciated the bathroom with lots of space and niches for toiletries and a very good large shower. The minibar was restocked daily with complimentary waters, juice, soft drinks, and a kettle was provided. We also liked the very pretty little coffee/wine bar at the hotel entrance, complete with outside tables. We celebrated a special occasion while there, and the staff surprised us with a chilled bottle of sparkling wine and dessert.

Great location and even you don’t use hotel’s garage, there is public parking space just right in front of hotel. Room has enough space to put your luggages.

1. fridge is a bit small. 2. staff members didn’t give full of information. For example, mini bar was free but we haven’t known it until we asked it to the front office. And hot water in shower djdn’t work for 2 days morning but didn’t get any comment about it. Even when we checked out, we didn’t get any excuse about that issue. They just apologized after I claimed it. 3. Double bed is large enough to sleep but felt a bit uncomfortable. But this could be personal opinion.

The location is definitely an assest as it's 5 mins away from where a lot of the attractions are but a bit calmer than that area. The room was nicely put together and had most of what you would want. The services and staff at the hotel were all professional and clearly well managed. Closer to a four star hotel than a 3 star hotel (no pool so I suppose that's the separating factor)

Not much. The Smart TV wasn't capable of using streaming services like Netflix. That would have been nice. A stand fan in the room would have been nice

Wonderful staff. Communication for English speakers was excellent. Comfy beds. Very clean. Very nice bathrooms. Delicious restaurant. Fabulous location. Safe. Very nicely appointed. Upscale facilities. Easily walkable to all the main attractions. Nearby restaurants (though this restaurant was superb at the hotel.)

Buffet breakfast was overpriced for light eaters...BUT...they were flexible when we asked for a per-item price. Breakfast food was excellent and there was a very good selection. Nevertheless, a nearby coffee cafe was less expensive and more specific for our healthy-diet preferences. That said, readers should note we are very selective about fats, cholesterol, fiber, and other content compared to most travelers. We think the vast majority of travelers would love the breakfast selections.

Amazing staff, welcoming without reaching the level of annoyance. Smiling, supportive, positive attitude. Beautiful, fresh interiors. Cozy room. Top tier restaurant available if you want to have a bite. Hotel is positioned in the heart of the old town, with close proximity of whatever touristic attraction you are looking for.

We had an issue with a sink of the shower, but it was quickly addressed by the maintenance team and didn't impact the perception of our stay.

The place has a very good location in a quiet street yet in the heart of the city, just 5 min walk for the center. - Our room was very cozy and as described. - There se a boutique bistro in the hotel with a very good menu and all we had ordered was very tasty. - The staff is multi-national and at a highest standard of customer orientation.

Not a big deal but the TV was just a bit outdated and had a poor channel program.

Beautiful hotel just outside the old town of Prague great access to central areas. Tastefully decorated. Staff were very pleasant and helpful. Complimentary soft drinks in the minibar, which was restocked daily. Comfortable mattress.

No lift to the 6th floor. Our room wasn't cleaned on the Sunday not sure if this is the norm we were not concerned as we were leaving early the next day.

We liked the hotel, which seems to have a lot of business customers. Our room was clean, a bit small. But we were very happy with the decor. The staff was excellent; I cannot praise them enough. We would stay here again. And the location is fantastic, close to everything except noise!

I would have liked a desk rather than a small table. I wouldn't say that it was particularly laptop friendly, at least the furniture of the room we stayed in.
