This hotel provided a truly wonderful experience! From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the festive Christmas decorations and the grand entrance. My room, and the hotel in general, was impeccably clean, which always makes for a more comfortable stay. The staff were consistently helpful and friendly, going above and beyond to assist with any needs. But the highlight for me was definitely the exceptional swimming pool and its accompanying facilities. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and enjoyable stay with excellent amenities and top-notch service.

While my stay was largely positive, there was one minor issue worth noting. experienced some noise disturbance from dogs in a neighboring room, which required me to request a room change. While the staff handled the situation efficiently, it was a slight inconvenience that impacted my initial experience.

This hotel is a prime example of what hospitality should be. The staff are extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful. We travelled as a family with our disabled child and our service dog (in training) The staff, from reception to housekeeping always have a greeting and a smile. Breakfast is lovely, varied and fresh. The hotel is spotless and very well kept. Our room was comfortable with a lovely, roomy bed and a pull out sofa that was more than adequate. Everything from the tea and coffee supplied to the delicious biscuits were arranged with care. Room service food was well prepared and good portions. The play area for children is lovely, as is the detail of available dog treats as we pass reception. The pool that's adjacent to the hotel is a good size, comfortable temperature, clean and the staff friendly. Even though there was a wedding on at the weekend it was still quiet and peaceful. We were so pleasantly surprised. Thank you for the wonderful stay.

We particularly liked that even though we had a late check in, there were plenty of staff available, and not just a screen to use to book in, like Premier Inn. The room wad very large, comfortable and well furnished. Overall, we were very impressed. Thank you

Were in a disabled facility room, which had a large emergency light on the ceiling, whilst this wasn't on, there was a small green light on it that was so bright it lit up the room once all the other lights were off and caused us to have a very disturbed and broken nights sleep, which was a great shame as everything else was great

Lovely stay from start to finish on the whole... great swim and breakfast, comfortable room with some nice complimentary bits. Ate evening meal at nearby Harvester and highly recommend.

Staff weren't forthcoming with information.Had to ask how to access the pool for example, Also no warm welcome at breakfast, or brief show around of buffet, just told sit anywhere and left to it. One receptionist more abrupt / unwelcoming than others. Most staff struggled to smile or offer any polite passing acknowledgement. These things cost nothing and would have made the stay 'excellent'!

The hotel was very easy to find after the exit from the motorway and there was plenty of parking on site. We were early for check in and the reception staff were very welcoming and made us comfortable until we were able to go to our room. As it was a saturday, I wanted to watch Strictly so a member of the restaurant staff brought our evening meal to our room for us. The bar serves an extremely good guinness as well 😊

There were a few marks on one wall near the bed, like someone had splashed a drink up it but otherwise the room was totally spotless and extremely comfortable.

All of the facilities Inc. Leisure swim centre, and the conference l was attending. The location being so near the M5 for practical travel but not so good for the Town Centre unless you had a car. The accommodation was clean, spacious, with good meals and the room service availability.

Not so much the location from shopping in town aspect. Quite far away. Not sure that l like the pet friendly aspect in such a clean hotel.

We chose this as a location to break our journey from Cornwall to Surrey and it served it's purpose. Place was comfortable and check in easy. Ample parking. It is situated on a huge roundabout and if you miss the turning the first time round as we did it is fun making the circuit, but still much better than being bogged down in Taunton. BP garage was welcome. In the morning we were able to head off to Dorchester and onwards, so we felt it served its purpose well. Holiday Inn is a well known and dependable brand, so lived up to expectations.

Breakfast was very good with large variety of fruits cereal and cooked Room was quite small with twin beds one of which was against a wall so only able to get out one side. No bedside table which was very inconvenient. Bed was very comfortable and bedding changed during stay.

Unfortunately there was a lot to be desired about how the room was kept. On two occasions had to make complaint to management. 1. Beds were not made correctly as bedding had only been pulled up bin in bathroom not emptied.. 2. On this occasion the beds had not been made at all and towel left on floor and waste bin in bathroom had not been emptied again. Management informed.

Couldn't really fault this hotel for the price, at £68 room only, 2 people, free parking and full use of the spa facilities it was ideal. The facilties were excellent and both the rooms and the spa were clean. We didn't have a meal or breakfast so can't comment on their food. We stayed en-route to Bristol Airport, it's a good location and has various amenities in the immediate vicinity (supermarkets, pubs, restaurants etc) We would definitely stay again providing the price stays low.

Really good stay. Broke the journey north. Great pool, lovely staff who even let me borrow a hdmi lead. You have to book the pool to swim as a family, which is worth doing because then you get your own lane. Good size room and bathroom. Son was very comfortable on his sofa bed.

Mattress wasn't great on the main bed, could feel all the springs. Very close to a holiday Inn express so easy to get confused about where to go. Needs better clarification on directions.
