Our stay at Hotel Bella Grande in Copenhagen was truly memorable, complementing our birthday celebration perfectly. Location: - The hotel has a spotless location, located between the Central Station, Nyhavn, Strøget, and Tivoli Gardens in one of the best neighborhoods, offered easy access to key attractions, making every major sight reachable by foot. Staff: - Our check-in experience with Torsten was exceptional, as his humor and easygoing nature made us completely forget it was past midnight. We thoroughly enjoyed our interactions with him, as his great sense of humor added to the experience. - We must commend Simona at the front desk for her exceptional care; she made us feel truly special, treating us like VIPs. Simona went above and beyond, securing the most amazing birthday dinner table at the Donna restaurant, a must-visit during your stay. She effortlessly handled multiple other requests, making our trip to HBG a solid 10/10 experience, and a definite reason for us to return. We could not thank her enough! Stay: - The hotel rooms were outstanding, featuring a perfect blend of modern and vintage Danish design, with a contemporary touch. Room 423 offered a stunning view of the atrium, perfect for photos. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, the duvets high-quality, and the cleanliness top-notch. The bathroom amenities, including nature-derived wash, creams, and soap, were excellent. Commendations on the impeccable design. In conclusion, the hotel has outshone our initial expectations, leaving us with a lingering desire to return at the earliest convenience.

1. Lack of a fridge in the room, which would have been useful for keeping water cold during summertime. 2. Absence of AC in the rooms (common in Copenhagen hotels), though typically unnecessary except for late June to late August. To be fair, I've read that the hotel reportedly provides a fan upon request, a helpful option should you need one during summer. 3. While the view was the true winner, beware of significant noise from the Donna restaurant if your room overlooks the atrium. This may disturb light sleepers as it lasts until around 12-1 am; consider requesting a street-facing room if noise is a concern for you.

Pretty much everything apart from Poogate (see below). Great location for the centre but quiet at night. Very helpful and pleasant staff. Very clean. Large rooms. In all, a really good vibe about the place and a hotel I would recommend to anyone visiting the city.

Oh dear. The one really off thing was the location of the bathroom toilet, which meant you virtually rested your head on the wall when sitting on it.......And to be a tad indilicate, made it very difficult to wipe your bottom after a poo! I'm not convinced that even a cirque du soleil performer could pull that trick off without a bit of a struggle!

The hotel is in the center of Copenhagen, which is very convenient for tourism reasons. Rooms are very soundproof, which means you will not be disturbed by the noise at night, unless you keep the window open. Our room faced the street, so with the opened window was quite noisy. The room has a balcony, which is very nice. Bed is very comfortable. Staff in the hotel are super friendly and welcoming.

The room has only one chair, so if you are two people it is not very convenient. Even this small room (like really small) could fit a second chair. Normally I would expect the hotel room to also have a table, which is especially important for business trips, however this room has none. I would also prefer my bathroom cleaned at least every couple day, however room service in this hotel only does your bed (which actually nobody desperately needs) and exchanges towel.

Very classy!

Quite expensive for a cramped room, but I suppose it is the same in all of Copenhagen. Music was playing until 10 pm, which could be a concern if you want to go to bed early.

The hotel was in such a fantastic location right next to the metro, providing easy access to all areas of the city. It’s a few minutes walk from tivoli gardens and other main attractions and shopping too. Overall fantastic location for anyone looking to explore what Copenhagen has to offer. Hotel was nice and clean, big bed and beautiful internal atrium where you can enjoy food and drinks. The hotel gym was well equipped and there is also a decent luggage storage space which was useful for us as our flight was later on in the evening.

Our room overlooked the atrium which although beautiful, was quite noisy as the chatter of guests and music playing travelled up. There was no A/C option which meant the room was quite hot

The breakfast was excellent and everything was very beautiful and the breakfast room was cool also! The room was clean and cozy also! 🤍

The staff was a bit of rude, the first one was friendly but the other one messed up our rooms and declared that we haven’t paid for the breakfast. Even though we paid for it. She was careless and instead of my right name, she chose someone’s room for us. When it cane out, she didn’t even apologize. In our hotel room we didn’t have dressing gown either slippers that we were expecting. Even though we are satisfied our visit and would come again!

The hotel was lovely! Based in a really good location for travelling around Copenhagen. Our room decor was lovely, and bed was extremely comfy. We enjoyed drink at your bar in the evening! The recommendations of restaurants from the hotel, we tried an Italian and it was delicious!

The location of our room despite being a superior room, which I had paid extra for, meant there was so much noise at bedtime. There was noise from the restaurant, especially loud on Friday night and disturbed our evenings of sleep. Additionally the rooms to neighbours were interconnected and meant we could hear everything, especially when they were loud at night. The rooms were exceptionally comfy and lovely, however the noise was frustrating especially when wanting to get to bed at a good time to travel the city early the next morning! This was our only con of the hotel, apart from that it was lovely and had great ambience.

Beautiful hotel in a great location, close to center of Copenhagen, all the shopping/restaurants, short walk to both Tivoli and Nyhavn. Room and bathroom very spacious and comfortable, lovely hygiene products for showers. Our room was facing the courtyard with their Donna restaurant, which some may found noisy, but we enjoyed the music and the buzz of people socializing. With windows closed the noise was cancelled out. Staff were very friendly - booked restaurant, taxi and anything else we wanted.

I think it is a consistent feedback across Copenhagen hotels where the rooms get very warm as it centrally heated and cant be regulated. We ended up with open windows most of the time to get fresh air in. It was a little noisy in mornings with rooms starting to get clean as walls seemed very thin, but nothing a pair of earplugs would not fix. Would definitely stay again if in Copenhagen.

The hotel was very lovely with easy walking distance from the train station. The staff was guest oriented and polite. They were kind enough to let us have coffee/tea from the breakfast area even though we didn't eat breakfast at the hotel.

It would have been nice with a complimentary coffee/tea station somewhere as there were none in the rooms. We didn't take breakfast in the hotel, but the staff was nice enough to let us have a coffee/tea in the morning. And that station in the breakfast area could also be much improved with proper tea cups and kettle, proper coffee machine etc. The simple coffee table didn't really fit in with the rest of this beautiful hotel.

Location is very central. The hotel is nice, well decorated. Friendly staff. Large room (superior double room). Room was very clean, with daily cleaning. They frequently changed changed the bed linens and towels (we stayed 8 nights).

We booked a larger room since we stayed 8 nights, however there was not enough space to store our things. There was a big wardrobe but without enough tablets, mostly hangers but not practical and not enough anyway. The room had two chairs and a tiny low table, no desk. Not enough to put our things. Constant noise on the outside of our room facing an inner courtyard (like a constant running motor), we couldn't let the window open. Closed window it was ok. It was too hot in the room, no AC. There is a "minibar" (some snacks and drinks) but no fridge (drinks are at room temperature).
