Great location and handy to Tivoli Gardens and Central Train Station and local eateries Very comfortable Friendly and helpful start.

The shower room floor tiles become slippery as ice when wet. There are no safety handles on shower walls to grab when your feet slide from underneath you. Quite dangerous. Maybe replace shower floor tiles with a non slip type or provide a non slip shower Matt. Also there’s no shelf in the cabinet to put items. No floor floor towels for outside shower to dry feet and no face cloths. Had to use a hand towel.

Beautifully designed interiors within old walls. Hotel has a lot of character and a great atmosphere. Breakfast was amazing. Lovely Bar! Bicycles for renting available. The location is just great: close to public transportation but as well close to walk to Indre By... and the road the hotel is located at isn't busy. This is our base when traveling to Copenhagen!

Room quite small for the price. Room cleaning only when asked for ("save the planet", which is ok - but once it wasn't cleaned when we asked for). Our room was located in a mid-level floor with some steps to walk. Not ideal for personal health situation.

Very good location. 5 minutes walk from the central station, where you can arrive from the airport. 3 minutes walk from metro station. Almost all sights and the main shopping street are within walking distance. Iron with ironing board and the kettle are availiable in the room. Very good, hearty breakfast. Lovely staff.

An old building with stairs that are inconvenient to move with luggage. Very slow elevator and the only one. The lotion dispenser was empty and never filled during my entire stay (if there is a dispenser for something it should be filled, sorry).

Staying at the Ascot was like having a pied-a-terre right in the center of Copenhagen. We booked a Superior Double, but got upgraded to one of their new apartments and we couldn't have been happier. The modern space had a living room with couch, chair, and large tv; a full kitchen with utensils, stove, oven, refrigerator, washer, coffee maker, kettle, and toaster; a dining area with table and four chairs; bedroom with large comfortable bed; bathroom with toilet, sink, shower, and tub; lots of storage space; and large windows to let in lots of light. The staff were welcoming and very helpful and the breakfast buffet varied and delicious. The location is perfect, just a block away from Tivoli and several museums. Highly recommend!

Some noise from the exhaust fans behind the hotel so bring earplugs if you are a light sleeper. Also, a lack of towel racks in the bathroom plus no place to put soap and shampoo inside the shower.

The hotel was perfectly located, at a 5 min walk from Tivoli Gardens and a 10 min walk from the city centre with shops and museums. We stayed for 5 days in Copenhagen and didn't use public transport at all, only travelled by foot or by cycling. Even though the room had more of a vintage look to it, everything was very clean. We weren't able to check-in early, but we were offered a room with enough space to place our luggage, that opened only by using a key card.

1. The reception guy from the first night (at 9pm on the 30th of May) was very rude as we had a problem with the payment. We called the bank and resolved everything by next morning, but I hope to never see that guy again. Very arrogant and sarcastic. 2. There is no bathroom window or a ventilator, so all the smells from the bathroom enter the room 3. You need a college degree to open and close the windows near the bed, I have never seen a more complicated system.

The location was excellent, very close to everything, Tivoli Gardens, starting point for Hop On Hop Off bus tour, metro & train station.

No air con, it was very warm in room, we had the fan that was in the wardrobe on constant the duration of our stay & windows left open & still very warm in the room. to get in & out of the bath was very hard for one of our party who was elderly as the glass screen for the shower over the bath didn’t move to allow for holding onto the sink as no hand rail either. Quite possibly there are accessible rooms that will accommodate that but usually a hand rail is a standard fixture.

We stayed in 2 different rooms - the first night we were in a 'Superior deluxe' and it was fabulous! The bathroom had a heated toilet with all sorts of functions! The room was so luxurious - Gaggia coffee machine, walk in shower, designer bathtub etc. A lovely treat. The next day we moved to a 'deluxe double' which was far more spacious than the first room but more ordinary - no heated toilet! Breakfast was fabulous - scrambled eggs to die for! Lots of choice of hot and cold options. Really lovely hotel just a few minutes walk from the main station and also metro (Trianglen) and just around the corner from Tivoli Gardens.

This room was lovely and would have been really comfortable except for budling work going on just outside our window (I think they were replacing windows?) There was an external workmen's lift that began operating at 7.30am so we had to keep our windows and curtains closed! TBH, with the windows closed, we didn't hear much noise.

The room was quite spaceous and comfortable! The lobby decor was quite pleasant, the staff was very helpful, and we loved walking around the neighborhood. The breakfast spread was outstanding, if a little expensive.

The bathroom was awkwardly set up, with a raised bathtub that had no way to prevent water from spraying onto the floor. Our unit had no air conditioning, which was not too bad but would have been uncofmrtoable had we stayed there earlier in the week. The breakfast spread was great, but at roughly $35 per person we regretted it when we got the bill.

Great location, can walk to virtually all attractions, subway and central train station are within 5-10 minutes. Very helpful and friendly staff, I was first time in Copenhagen, they helped me navigate around.

Breakfast was not good. It was not included into room price (frankly it should at this rate). I checked it out first but they couldn’t even do fried eggs for me. So I had breakfast at cafe nearby (012 cafe really good). Carpets in the room- I generally dont like, thought it was parquet based on pictures. And quite noise with some a/c block or something working in the backyard close to my room. Price also a bit on the expensive side.

The location was excellent, just a very short walk from the main train station, the metro station and Tivoli theme park. The breakfast was splendid and the staff were lovely and helpful.

I felt security could be improved. You could walk into the hotel, go up in the lift and get right to the room door until you needed your keycard. We left our luggage at the hotel after checkout and were given a keycard for the luggage room. Anyone with a card could have taken any of the cases in there.
