It was an overall pleasant surprise. When we walked in our room, you could see and smell clean. Very refreshing. The outside kind of just looks like an older model, not run down,but just a normal cheap motel, but the rooms are exceptional. We were exhausted, and as long as we had a shower and bed, we were fine. When I laid down, I thought I was home for a second.. the beds were memory foam, and the bath area was one of the largest I've seen, even in higher end hotels. Very happy, and if we need a room again, before our move, this is where we will be staying

The facilities were recently renovated from an old fashioned motel to a hipper version of an old fashioned motel. Please keep reading because in spite of the opening that might seem snarky, it's a very good value for travelers who don't need the glitz of a high end brand name hotel. The room was spacious and the bed top notch. The bathroom had been updated with new fixtures, walk in shower and tile. A Keurig style coffee maker was a nice touch. The breakfast was standard fare, nothing amazing, just the usual waffles, carb laden breads and pastries, fruit and precooked sausages. Both American and continental style coffees were offerred. Parking was ample considering that the place was sold out for the night we stayed. The staff were gracious under duress. It had rained heavily the day of our arrival and rooms had not been serviced for new guests on time because the linen carts would have been exposed to the elements. Pretty hard to fault them for circumstances beyond their control, but it might be a good idea for them to figure out a solution before the next time it inevitably rains.

The only negative I can report is that the accessory furniture felt underwhelmingly small and chintzy for the room, but for one night, who cares?

The place was nice and quiet and the breakfast was pretty good.

I don't like that they don't let you know there is an incidental fee of $200 at time of check in. I asked if it was refunded after stay but never got verification from the desk clerk. I'm still currently waiting on an answer. I'm not sure why it wouldn't be refunded especially since the room was not damaged etc. Never had a hotel not refund it so we shall see.

Happy with location, breakfast and price. Able to walk to events from hotel. Many shops and restaurants nearby. Able to watch sports on television. Appreciated the kitchen amenities in the room- got some use from groceries purchased beforehand.

Could hear some noise from other rooms. An alarm clock would probably be a welcome addition to rooms, for those who don't travel with one. Mattress comfortable, but some may prefer one that is firmer. These things were minor compared to the bargain rate.

Room, bed, bathroom, linen, and carpet were all very clean. The outside of the property doesn’t look impressive, but once inside the room, our stay was a very pleasant surprise!

Check-in after midnight was a bit difficult because the front entrance door is locked, and you have to go to a side window (in the rain) to contact staff by pressing a bell-button that they really don’t hear, so it’s best to call the hotel to get their attention. Also, the phone number on Booking.com is incorrect. The actual number is (864) 214-8425.

I loved the location and especially the showers which get very hot. I didn't actually get to experience the breakfast but my step dad did and he said everything was delicious.

The only thing I didn't like was the pillows was so soft that it was feeling like the bed and we was in the clouds lol. It's not really that we didn't like it but we kept moving trying to get right and had to stack all the pillows up to be comfortable and sleep high. To make it better you should have the big hard pillows instead and then it will be much better. Also the bed was so low and my husband suggest to probably add one more mattress to make it better because it's hard for people with bad knees and legs to get up.

Urban Boutique Hotel is a very nice, affordable, clean, and modern hotel with all the basic amenities along with serving a great breakfast. My husband and I attended a concert at the Bon Secours Arena, which was very nice and only 1.4 miles from the hotel; We also visited some waterfalls within a hour of hotel like Reedy River Falls, Wildcat Wayside Falls, Pleasant Ridge Falls, and Rainbow Falls in South Carolina along with High Falls and Triple Falls in Dupont State Forest in North Carolina.

The location was nice. The room was clean & made me feel comfortable. The breakfast was pretty good as well.

One thing that I did not like is that the staff was not welcoming at all!! Even when I called to have a plunger brought to my room no one ever showed up, I had to call multiple times. When they eventually showed up.. it was no good. Not to mention, they’re building something on the side of the hotel so workers came early in the morning making loud noises all day and I was not able to sleep in.

The room was very nice. The breakfast was very good with alot of variety.

The shower door doesn't stay closed.The curtain that lets light in was off the track and I don't know if I fixed it totally. The refrigerator needs to be checked if it is standing flat. I fixed the left front stabilizer but I think it still isn't level.

I can’t say enough about this hotel. I wish it was a chain. I definitely will be coming back to Greenville for day trips because of this hotel. Everything is brand new & very modern like your stepping into Dwell magazine. It’s super clean, well managed, in a safe and excellent location. The mattresses are very comfortable memory foam. The breakfast bar is open 6-9am and is excellent. A little bit of everything. You will not be disappointed with staying here.
