The breakfast was disappointing. The last two times we have stayed the pancake maker did not work. The sausage tasted funny. We actually went down and ended up going back to our room and ordered Door Dash breakfast from McDonalds. The staff at the front desk was ALWAYS friendly but the lady working the breakfast bar was borderline rude and acted annoyed by us.

Truly the only thing that wasn't good about our stay was the breakfast. We LOVE the pool area, we love the staff (especially the front desk guy with the beard, I wish I remembered his name) and the rooms are very comfortable and clean. The location of the hotel in Rapid City isn't bad but not great. The hotel across from it is shady and that area of Rapid City has gone downhill. The area in the immediate area of the hotel is well maintained and it's great to have Outback right next door.

The hotel seemed very up to date and well designed. The fixtures and furnishings were modern and everything looked well constructed. The pool was also great; my kiddo loved the water feature and wanted to be at the pool more than he didn't.

The breakfast was just OK, but it was free, so we can't really complain. I do wish that they had alternative dairy options aside from just chocolate soy milk and the pancake machine was broken every day except for our last day. That of course resulted in a sad kid.

This was the quickest check-in I've ever encountered. One quick signature and he handed me the keys and we were in! They had a large selection of items for breakfast, and they all tasted were great. My wife really enjoyed the biscuits and gravy! If we didn't have a deadline that morning I would have stayed for an extra cup of coffee.

I don't think I've ever stayed at a hotel/motel where the HVAC system worked properly and this was the same with this unit/hotel, and my only complaint. It took forever for the system to kick in to provide the proper temperature.

It was a delightful stay in general. The staff were kind, helpful and friendly. We were able to ship packages to the hotel front desk without any glitch. We also were able to extend our stay with two extra nights at the last minute and the were able to accommodate us with the original same great room rate. We enjoyed it tremendously and are grateful for a wonderful stay at this hotel.

We are not sure why inside our room was much colder and humid than outside. It seems that our friends staying at other hotels experienced the same thing. Not sure if it's a South Dakota thing or we come from Utah and not used to the humidity. However, everywhere else seems dry and it did not feel humid at all outside, only in the room. We also had major challenge with the AC - either too cold or too hot. We can't seem to get fresh air pumping and really struggled with the temperature inside the room. The temperature in the hallway also gets super cold sometimes. I hope this is something that can be resolved. Thank you.

Overall, a very pleasant stay with only minor issues which were fixed quickly. Very friendly staff. Hotel is very clean, well run and in good maintenance. Hot breakfast is good, breakfast area was refilled and cleaned continuously despite being very busy. Good location right off highway but only 10 minutes from downtown, and quiet. WiFi worked well overall but got very weak in certain areas and just outside the hotel. Plenty of free parking. Nice indoor pool.

Massive waste of plastic and packaging at breakfast - they didn't even have stirrers for coffee, so every time you needed something to stir your tea or coffee you had to open and waste a whole condiment package. Not environmentally friendly.

Loved the hot breakfast every morning. The pool was great but rather chilly even being inside. Our rooms were nice and location was perfect for us.

We were asked to turn in slips of paper with our room info on them if we wanted our rooms cleaned. We turned these slips in 4 different days and our room only got serviced once.

The handicap room was big and allowed my husband to be able to move around, get into bed, and get into the bathroom. The breakfast buffet was sufficient and met our needs. Staff was SUPER helpful and friendly!

The bath bench was good but a little uneven. The legs needed to be able to fit the tub a little better. But this is NOT your fault! The company that makes the bench should think ahead!

The staff was excellent, especially the nice gentleman at the front desk that checked us in. He was top notch! The pool is awesome and great for kids under 5 that would be overwhelmed by a huge water park.

The breakfast good variety but the food was lukewarm

The bathrooms were extremely clean and the soap was so nice! The continental breakfast was outstanding and all the staff was super nice!

The beds were super comfortable and made creaked a little! But that was our only complaint!

Room was clean, staff was very nice, housekeeping were amazing. Breakfast had great selections. Left phone & wallet in our room by mistake one day. It was still there when we got back.
