We've stayed here before when the hotel was a different name. They're working on rebranding & remodeling. It's not complete yet & still needs repairs but it was clean, the bed comfy, room spacious, free ample parking & basic amenities present. Front desk staff were very kind & friendly! Hotel close to NYC as well as restaurants & shopping in NJ. NJ transit bus stop right across from hotel for easy city access.

Signage outside needs to be added with hotel name - current temporary signage is barely there & doesnt easily identify hotel. Cleaning staff left tattered wet rag presumably used for wiping surfaces (hopefully not the toilet) on our bathroom counter - they should just be extra careful to ensure things like that are not left for guests to find from a cleanliness perspective. Front desk no longer offers printed bus schedules (just QR code for cell phone scanning) - it'd be helpful to still have physical copies - schedules are tiny & hard to see on a phone.

Coming from a foreign country, we were a little worried that there might be issues with exchange rate and the checking in procedure, but everything was perfect and there were no issues. The reception staff were incredibly helpful with any questions we had.

Because of the renovations that are currently under way in the hotel, the overall cleanliness in some of the public areas is not 100%. When we requested that the room be made up, the bed was not made up properly, it was just pulled straight. The floor of the room was not mopped. The shower was not cleaned.

We stayed at this hotel for the second time because of its great location. This hotel is just opposite the stop of bus #320. It costs USD8.5 for an adult to take a round trip to the Port Authority Bus Terminal in Manhattan. On weekday, the bus 320 is available around midnight. In addition, this hotel is in walking distance to a Walmart supercenter. So, it is very convenient to commute to Manhattan or buy some groceries even at 10:00PM. Furthermore, I did not have any problem finding a parking spot at this hotel.

When we stayed at this hotel in this July, this hotel just renovated its rooms. I like the laminated floor and the new bathroom. However, it's a bit strange that the bathroom was not equipped with a ventilation fan. Not sure if they will install the ventilation fan later. The other thing they could improve is the breakfast. It would great if they could provide some eggs, meat or vegetable for the breakfast.

I booked a 5 night city break in New York. I was unfamiliar with the area so after searching through many options I booked this hotel because it was almost half the price of any in Manhattan. Upon arrival I was made aware that at this point there were works going on to upgrade the hotel. At no point did this affect my stay and only mention it as future guests will find fresher rooms. The room size was very good and the facilities within were also very good. Breakfast was included in my stay and when I turned up on the first morning my initial thought was that it was going to be disappointing...I was very wrong....there was more than enough to choose from including fresh bread and bagels...fresh fruit and fruit pots...choice of cereal and porridge...fruit juices and tea and coffee. The staff were always cheerful and welcoming and very happy to answer any questions. 2 minutes walk from the entrance is the bus stop for New York and within 15/20 minutes you can be standing in Times Square. Cost is $4.25 single. There are also a variety of shops and restaurants within 5 minutes walk of the hotel.

Poor planning on my part meant I arrived at secaucus junction train station and it was further to the hotel than I imagined....had I known I would have caught the bus to New York and made the transfer from there. Although this has nothing to do with the hotel directly its just a point to note for future travellers.

Good price value. Rooms are comfortable. It is outdated, but clean, and they are going through renovations throughout so that'll be fixed. Very well located. Very easy access to Manhattan by bus (US$8.50 round trip). Perfect place for a New York vacation at a fraction of the price. Near a mall and restaurants. Will continue to come back here for New York visits and/or Jets games.

Breakfast is average at best. Toasts, bagels, cereals, muffin bites, apples, bananas. They used to have basic eggs, bacon, sausages, potatoes and waffles before. They should go back to that. Breakfast should always have the basics mentioned.

Clean , no bugs , good location , Friendly and responsive staff .

Lack of Hot breakfast option . Not a fan of Direct TV ( limited channels ) and the television itself was old , the picture on screen was dark , tried to adjust it , but the TV just needs to be upgraded overall . No major issues during the stay .

Location was pretty good, bus station across the street, we use bus and train all the time. Nearby places to eat and buy groceries. Microwave and little refrigerator in the room, was great! Staff were very helpful and kind, especially Felipa! They were doing remodeling works, but it wasn't messy.

Room cleaning can improve.

Beautiful renovations. Very comfortable. Location is perfect walking distance for many restaurants and the NJ Transit. Also the manager was amazing to work with. He is very reasonable and I respect a person in is position for how he handled the situation. Very pleased!!

We were woken up early from the renovations but once they are done I can’t think of anything negative.

We particularly appreciated the hotel location. The staff was very professional and tried their best to help us. The room was spacious, comfortable and cleaned everyday during our 3 days stay. The breakfast and the microwave in the room were definitely a plus.Though the hotel remodeling is still undergoing, we barely saw or heard the workers. The lobby and hallways are kept very clean.

Honestly this hotel is amazing. We will definitely stay there again. The bus to go into New York City is right across the street. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. Location is absolutely perfect 😊

There is nothing I didn't like we found the hotel was perfect and we have nothing to complain about.
