My fiancée and I stayed for one night at the hotel after a day trip from Strasbourg. At first glance we were already astonished with the beauty of the building and the surroundings, as well as the perfect location just opposite to the train station. The room was impeccable, spacious, clean and beautiful. Breakfast was also delicious. But what I came here to say is THANK YOU so much to all the staff, specially Viviane. I lost my engagement ring in the room and only realized once I was back in Paris. I called the hotel and they immediately searched for it and called me back to say they had found it. Bear in mind that it was a quite pricey diamond ring and their honesty and eagerness to look for it and return it to me were unimaginable. Hands down the best hotel I’ve stayed in, for all described above.

Love the location, we travelled by train so it couldn't be better. Overlooked water features in front of the station from our hotel window. Very little train noise.

The signage on the hotel could be better, the hotel is right in front of the train station, but it is still hard to find. There is no signage at the door. Some of the reception staff were ok, but not all were very knowledgeable about the area. Asked the same question to 3 different people, got 3 completely different answers. Breakfast was acceptable, but on our last day both coffee machines were not working, but one was fixed before we left, the dining room girl tried her best. The toilet bowl in our room was absolutely disgusting and no cleaner should have left it like that. It had not been cleaned properly for a long long time. There needs to be someone checking on the the cleaning staff.

Perfect location adjacent to the train station, allowing us to take a day trip into Strasbourg, leaving the car in Colmar. Hotel also had private parking for reasonable additional fee off the street and secure, which we opted to use over the street parking. The hotel had excellent buffet breakfast in the restaurant, which included large selection of meat, cheese, eggs, bread, fruit, cereals, etc. We also ate dinner in the hotel restaurant, which offered regional specialties of good quality and reasonably priced. Service was also excellent. Rooms were clean and standard for what one would expect of a hotel room in Europe. Hotel is also easy walk to the old city center of Colmar, where there are additional restaurants and bars.

Nothing to add.

the locations couldn’t be better if you are arriving by train, it is a bit of a walk into the old town. The rooms were clean and modern with ample room to open luggage. we loved the excellent luggage storage facility in the lobby. What a brilliant system!

the showers were not good as they only have the detachable hand held shower-head so I was not able to wash my hair which requires two hands. The breakfast was not good (raw egg) with the exception of the pastries. Noise proofing is an issue we could hear noise from the street and internal corridors. we paid the city tax in cash upon arrival but the staff member did not record out payment and another staff member tried to charge us again at check out.

The reception staff as well as the restaurant staff were friendly and efficient. We enjoyed the choice of food on offer for breakfast. The location is great within walking distance to the centre of town. The public car park is close and good value for money.

The layout of the breakfast buffet could do with rethinking. At least move the central table out a metre or 2 to have better access to the coffee machines, etc. At times there were too many people crowded in a small space, guests as well as staff getting in each others' way. The cooked food could do with improving (undercooked cold scrambled eggs, shortage of bacon). We missed a decent strong black tea in the choice of teabags.

We were upgraded. Room large. Beds comfortable. Breakfast good, plenty of choice. Coffe not great though. Location excellent if travelling by train-station is opposite to the hotel. Our room faced the train station but it was not noisy Parking was in front and to the side of the hotel and was paid for by meter. Not ideal.

Had a lot of problems with the keycards. Light in toilet cubicle was temperamental. Found ourselves in the dark more than once and we only stayed one night. Relatively minor problems.

1.Pierre, the front staff , very helpful and good manner, he help us many things and answer every questions, so impressive. He helped us book the Kutzig, a one day tour to 6 towns around Colmar. 2.The location, just opposite the train station and can walk about 1 km to all the attraction, a park, old town, petit venice and water tower. The bus stop of Kutzig tour is just at the front of the train station.

No supermarket nearby but you can find a little shop in the train station.

The room I booked exceeded my expectations. Renovated, cozy and clean room + bathroom. Noise cancellation is perfect, we had good rest. We had refrigerator, air conditioning, super comfy beds, kettle with tea/coffee selection, super soft towels and liquid soap + little amenities. Breakfast was good, very cozy restaurant. The main train station is just in 1 minute walk across the road. In 10 minutes [relaxed] walking you reach Le Petit Venise area . Friendly receptionist Stanislav made our stay more enjoyable. Will definitely come back.

Bathroom was a bit tight.

Good location close to the station but a little out of the way from the centre. Easy parking. Shared spaces beautiful and well renovated, lovely old building. Arrived late and left very early so did not spend a lot of time here Beds comfortable and no noise pollution

Room was slightly dated and views out onto roof with air conditioning vents, but nice and clean No air con (we did unfortunately visit during the hottest time!)
