Stunning building, fantastic central location, large and comfortable bed, nice decor, large useful bathroom, excellent reception staff

Wifi intermittent, no replacement face towels after first day, pillows not comfortable, room lighting controls not as good as they could be

We paid for better rooms and they did not disappoint, We have stayed at this hotel 4 times now and will always look to book this over any other hotel in Rouen if we can.

The weather wasn't great so we couldn't really use the inner courtyard this time which is always a lovely place to spend time and we were there when they had a big function and so the bar area was closed, I understand that the hotel has to run things like this but should probably thought a little more about the other hotel guests. In fairness a small point for us but could have upset other guests more.

Love the staff and super soft bed. From the moment we arrived, valet parking is a great welcome to the hotel. The staff are super efficient and friendly. Third time we have booked this hotel and a different room each time. Large, lovely bathroom, super bed and white crisp linen. The pool is excellent and was very quiet, it is subterranean and looks up into the bar. Again the staff in the spa were excellent. Breakfast is vast in its choice and check out was a breeze. Again, valet parking assisted with the car delivered to the side of the hotel. The hotel is itself a tourist attraction in the city. Very impressive.

The usual wifi coverage and that is it! The rest is first class.

Hôtel de Bourgtheroulde has done a great job of making an old historic building quite comfortable with modern conveniences! Positives: - Location is great in the old city center and convenient for walking around - Decor is beautiful - Hospitality of reception staff - Comfortable bed - Large bathroom with plenty of hot water - Breakfast

Negatives: - Only negative is the toilet is in a small room apart from the large bathroom, and there is no sink there to wash your hands.

Great location! Hotel is located just in the center in old historical building. Building itself is very beautiful! Staff is very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Hotel is in very good condition and modern. Breakfast has good selection of meals.

I don’t like breakfast. Yes it has good selection, but croissants are just normal, not fresh and hot you know. Pancakes are cold! Some fruits started to spoil. Staff, which bring you drinks, don’t know english and also forgets your requests. We reminded lady two times to get coffee. So breakfast is quite disappointing and it is not you are expecting from 5 star hotel in France. Especially when everything else is just excellent in hotel.

We were greeted on arrival and the car was taken into the valet car park and our bags taken to the room (which due to the configuration of the hotel is a good service and must take some organising). The room was clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. The breakfast was good

It was a long way to the bedroom via various stairs and lifts. Any older and I would have been leaving bread crumbs out so I could find my way back.

No doubt this is one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed at. Excellent location right in the city centre, close to every sight worth seeing, all can be reached by walking. Amazing spa facilities and pool build in highest quality materials and with careful attention to details. Staff super attentive, helpful and accommodating. All in all an exceptional experience.

No (or very limited) charging facilities at the Hotel. As more people - including ourselves - are arriving by EVs that need to be charged overnight to be ready for next day’s journey a hotel of their standard should accommodate guests arriving by EV. Among the many providers on the market they should at leaat consider to contact Tesla to ask to have installed Tesla Destination Chargers at their location. Just meant as a kind suggestion.

HELPFUL PERSONNEL ON DESK AT CHECKIN. CLEAN ROOM WITH VIEW OVER THE PATIO. WOULD PREFER TOILET TO BE IN THE SAME AREA AS TUB/SHOWER THOUGH.

THE HOTEL RESTAURANT WASN'T VERY GOOD. EXPENSIVE AND NOT WELL PREPARED DISHES. WE ARRIVED ON A SUNDAY AND MOST OF THE TOWN RESTAURANTS WERE CLOSED. BREAKFAST AT THE HOTEL WAS VERY GOOD THOUGH.

Very well located, this historic hotel was a comfortable base from which to explore Rouen. The decor is an interesting blend of the ancient core of the hotel combined with the rebuilding required by the bombing in 1944. Straightforward hotel, adequately staffed and reasonably priced.

Great place for a short stay in Rouen, well located and very nice ambiance. We were given a second bedroom as per our request since the first one was not big enough, and this was great.

The restaurant could be much better, service was not so great and the food could be much better. Also I regret the hairdryer in the bedroom.
