Comfortable place to have a night layover

Restaurant is not so cozy and opens too late in the morning. Also the airport transfer costs too expensive for a 5 minutes trip. Moreover, first transfer was at 6:30 in the morning, so I had to go to the airport by feet for the flight at 6:30.

Clean property, a nice and friendly staff, good pillows.

The bus shuttle has weird schedule. We took a taxi both ways. Around 7-10 € one way.

Nice hotel near the airport. Bedroom was very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was very complete. The hotel can be reached on foot from the airport but it's long (25 minutes). A shuttle is available, free from airport, 8€/person from hotel but it is not available from 11:30 am until 6pm. Consider the taxi (10€), we were 3 people and it was cheaper than the shuttle.

Great location and price for early morning flights. Shuttle bus service from airport to hotel is free; to the airport it costs €6 and is worth it. Staff was friendly and helpful. room was clean and comfortable. Our room had a great view of the airport. The restaurant is fantastic! I've eaten there twice and both times had the burger and fries. They were both the best I've ever had.

Typical hotel overhead halogen lighting at the bathroom mirror lights up the top of your head instead of your face. That's really my only complaint.

Easy access to airport especially terminal 2. It is walkable. Breakfast good, room v nice and comfortable. There is a supermarket nearby which is handy and unusual in those airport hotel ghettos.

Dinner options v limited- burgers and pizza were all that were on offer ( or a salad and dessert buffet which didn’t look good value). Towels could be bigger and fluffier! No hair conditioner.

Holiday Inn is all you need - excellent bed, sound proof, great hot water, coffee/tea making facility, lots of TV stations and excellent heating in winter.

The food and beverage prices are ridiculously high. Not everyone is on a company expense account. I took a look at the menu, laughed and went to "The Italian" down the road for a pizza. Honestly, if you halved your prices people would dine with you but instead I had to opt for supermarket and other venues. That is a real waste of your captive market. I would have loved to dine with you but a good meal needs to be at the EUR15 mark and house wine EUR4 mark.

The hotel falls within the expectations of what a Holiday Inn is. I stay with the chain when possible because it is predictable. The bed is always comfortable. The cleaning standards are as expected. The room size is as expected. A tea kettle and coffee maker are always appreciated. Close to the airport. Perfect for early morning flights. Parking is available at a fee.

The restaurant is, in one word, amateurish. Half the menu not available. Inept waiters. Long time to order. Long time to get beverages or meals. It was not busy. One waiter was carrying all the load while the others bumbled around without aim or goal. The guy a the bar cannot fill a glass of beer from the tap in under 15 minutes. No clue how he got the job. Stay at the hotel but eat elsewhere. Also, please put something in the room to stir your coffee or tea with. Using the bottle opener is a bit, um, unusual. Parking garage is tight and expensive. Europeans will frown on that, but Americans are used to a little more elbow room.

very modern, clean and comfortable

at check out the staff tried to tell us that the booking had not been paid for on advance(it had been paid in full upon booking). also they argued with me that my purchase of tokens for the shuttle bus back to the airport had also not been paid when I had paid and received the tokens to prove it upon check in the night before.

The hotel is ideally located for transit. It's close to the airport and a shuttle service is provided to and from the airport. It's exceptionally clean and has a bar and a restaurant that is ideal for when one is in transit. There are also other restaurants close by and a supermarket. Also, the perfect temperature in the room that needed no adjustment, the four comfy pillows of different softness, the large bathroom with 4 fluffy towels and proper soap, shampoo, conditioner and body and hand cream!

Everything was fine except perhaps the fact that the majority of channels on TV are in German. However for me this was not an issue because Wifi worked well and I watched movies on my laptop. Restaurant can perhaps cater more for people with food intolerances.

This is the 1st time I stayed there. I am an IHG member which comes with a lot of benefits. I had to do an early checkin as I just travelled for 10 hours with a kid and really needed some rest. The staff was helpful especially Ophelia at the reception. The bathroom basin could have been cleaner but everything was fine. My kid can eat free which is great because kids don't eat much so that helps. The bus stop, Rewe, and a few restaurants are close by so it helps. I would recommend it highly this place and for sure next time when I am in Frankfurt, will definetly choose this hotel.

Nothing that would make the stay unbearable but the taxi which charged me 25 euros for an 8-euro trip to FernBahnhoff did put a bad taste in my mouth. Of course, it is not the hotel's fault
