I have stayed in many Marriott hotels, last years’ in NY was a disaster, but I believe in giving the benefit of the doubt, so I booked again in Frankfurt. So, this Marriott is a favourite, so far. Unfortunately, I spent more time than I had intended in my room, because I had the flu, so I could not go out. But my misfortune was short lived! I got my money’s worth in use, which I did not mind, because the room was clean, the bed was super comfortable, the pillows were fluffy, the tv had lots of choice, there was internet, room service was perfect ( apart from the pizza…I am very picky)…plus I got to go outside for just a little, believing that I felt better, and saw that the location was central and close to many shops and the various attractions. Breakfast at the Marriott is always amazing for choice and quality of ingredients. The staff were very helpful, from concierge, reception, housekeeping to restaurant staff, they were all polite and professional. My family and I decided, to join the New Years dinner, which had a perfect menu ( my daughter would not agree…she does not like fish, but what can we do!) and the music was a one man show with a festive repertoire, who had us dancing! We were a bit late in attending though, because in Greece we do not go out to dinner until after 8pm, so the chef & staff probably wanted to strangle us! Our apologies! And then let’s not forget the New Year’s Eve fireworks, since I could not go out, I enjoyed it from my window! Next time maybe I will get to enjoy the city too!

As the 31st was a Sunday, all the shops were closed, apart from some coffee shops in the mall area next door. I really did not want to mention this, but it just bothers me a little when I do not have the choice to pay for services in cash. Even though cards are a great convenience, they can be lost or stolen or eaten up by the bank machines and having some cash is a necessity when travelling. The Euro is still legal tender and as a business Marriott management has an obligation to accept currency, up to a certain legal amount according to each county guideline. We can philosophise on the subject, but the fact remains.

sink drain plug is not working. The hotel needs place big sign near the entrance from the major street so customers can easily find the hotel. a sign also is needed to guide the customers where to park their cars.

Great location at the town center, easy to reach by train directly from the airport or main station within a few minutes. High rise building with an awesome view. My "Skyline Deluxe King Room" on the 15th floor had been freshly renovated and was quite large (about 7.5 x 6.5 m) with a very clever layout, a large bathroom with a bathtub, a coffee maker and a large bed with feather pillows. The receptionist was friendly and helpful and walked with me to the elevator to explain how to order the elevator with your room key.

There is free WLAN available, but you can buy "priority WLAN" for 10 € / day, which I haven't experienced in a hotel in 20 years. The breakfast is super expensive at 40 € (advanced booking) or 48 € (walk-in) per person. I found an artificial eye lash on the carpet which seems odd as I (55, male) am definitely not using any and if the maid had lost one, she must've noticed, right?

Location… Location.. Location I was upgraded free of charge, which was nice though it wasn’t much difference from the one I have already booked 😅 I used to stay in the same hotel when it was called Jumeirah Hotel, it’s really nice when the staff recognize you, they were so friendly 😊

JW Marriott replaced Jumeirah Hotel, in 2022 I couldn’t book because I have been told that there was a renovation, actually I haven’t seen any much difference except the name & the logo, the same old furniture that should be replaced because it was already worn out .. Even the breakfast menu still the same except few changes in the buffet which was unfortunately not as good as before when Jumeirah was operating the hotel !

very cool situated with a stunning skyline view. The staff is extremely friendly and service oriented. The mattresses were perfect (not too hard, not too soft) and there were two pillows to choose from. Hotel guests can use the Fitness first studio in the same building: nice pool and nice variety of tools. Bathrobes are provided on demand. Good assortment of beauty products (body wash etc) provided. The room service works fine and so is the food.

…actually only little things like that the door of the shower cabin opens to the outside (wet floor), that there was no bottle opener and that - probably because of COVID regulations - you cannot directly access the hotel from the ‘myZeil’ car park underneath the building

Everything. The room was gorgeous. We loved the elevator system. The front desk staff were excellent - very professional, attentive, truly 5 star. A special thanks to Thomas, Lili and their colleagues. Housekeeping was very prompt and efficient. Bartender was very pleasant. Concierge and the porter service was very helpful and pleasant. Also, the location couldn't be better, everything was in a few minutes walking distance: shopping, Christmas markets, museums, restaurants.

From arrival to check out staff were very helpful and polite. The location is perfect for exploring Frankfurt and shopping. The hotel has met the JW Marriott standards and our expectations. We traveled with our dog and there was even a very nice bed and bowls waiting for him in the room and also a bag of food. If we are back in Frankfurt we will definitely stay here again. There was a small issues with our airport transfer but it was sorted within minutes. Everything else was perfect. Thank you

great location in the heart of city center next door to a big shopping mall and short walking distance to the beautiful old town and popular shopping areas. the staff is very professional and helpful from the first person helping with all baggages until the young man trainee at the breakfast. DAVID VON DER LAAKE Assistant Head Concierge is very friendly, polite and helpful. Highly impressed with the staff services, beyond our expectation. definitely come back when we visit Frankfurt. the breakfast is delicious and good quality. the room is spacious, the bath tub is big, the corner room view is wonderful, minibar is complimentary, the bed is big and comfortable.

The room was large, comfortable and very clean. The bed provided comfort beyond belief. What was even better was the hotel's staff. Lilly, at reception, was so professional, friendly and efficient. She allowed me to have my room early which was wonderful after a transatlantic flight. In fact, she's the reason I've changed my hotel to the Marriott again when I return to Frankfurt in a few weeks. David and Paulo were very helpful in fixing a number of issues I had with my airline. So wonderful to see them as one enters the hotel!

. I wish one could eat breakfast in a hotel setting without having to pay $62 Canadian for breakfast. Why can't one have a la carte? Granted, the buffet is very good but there should be options.

We liked everything about this hotel but, in particular, we appreciated being able to check-in when we arrived in Frankfurt, early in the morning. This happened on our previous stay at this hotel as well. After an overnight flight, I really can't over-state how much we appreciated that. We would definitely stay at a Marriott Hotel again.
