Staff could have been warmer and friendlier - and more welcoming at the reception desk and on service express Interacted with 3 (out of 5) different staff members who came across rather cold, pompous and stand offish - just following procedure without genuine warmth/hospitality which is expected at a property of this price point

Everything was excellent from start to the finish. That is, the check in process was seamless and very quick, the property is in a great location and the overall service was exceptional. The rooms are very clean, the daily cleaning service was very efficient and done in time. Food at the main tapas restaurant was very good and the service was great. Breakfast was also very good, with a large variety of choices. Check out was a breeze and once again, very efficient. Personally, I feel that this property is a great value for money.

Very nice interior, friendly staff. Good breakfast. Special thanks to Ms Zaiga at the breakfast venue. Pool for children and sauna was a plus. Nice to have a "grab and go" option for a quick snack

Unfortunatelly, if you have your windows facing the street, it can get quite noisy (i.e. - the sound proofing). Our stay coincided with the farmers strike and they passed the hotel at 5:30 am signaling their loudest and the windows did not cancel any noise. The bathroom was quite small and a bit difficult to get in to and around. Also, there were no small toileterries (like cotton pads, etc.), which from a 5 star hotel one could expect to have. The pool area is nice, but need to keep in mind that the pool is 1.35 m deep and there is no shallower or jacuzzi type of place in the pool area suitable for the smaller children

The location was excellent, in one of the main streets but just around the block there were the shopping areas, cafes, restaurants, pharmacies and subway stations. Checking-in could have been much faster, as the receptionist had to work the screen for a bit, but otherwise it was alright. The room was quiet, comfortable, well-appointed and cleaned daily. The room temperature was centrally controlled but was always nice, not too warm and not cold. The bed was clean, firm and made up daily. It was possible to open the window to let in fresh air, if necessary, but when closed one doesn't hear street noise. The TV was good, a lot of news channels in English. Bottled water supplied daily. Laundry service was excellent. There is a cab rank in front of the hotel.

There was no heated towel rack in the shower room.

newly refurbed, looks and feels luxury, beds were very comfy sleep, it has a lovely swimming pool sauna steam area, has a wine shop inside it, great location, close to shopping centre.

Room service charges 10€ for a bottle of water, lucky we had 2 bottles topped up every day. the bathroom was too small for 2 ppl, toilet is right behind door awkwardly. toilet roll was hard. unfortunately had a bad sleep one of the nights as the room next door kept slamming their interlinking doors till 3am.

If you’d like to stay in the city centre this hotel is a perfect match. Even though we don’t like these touristic areas we choosed to stay at this hotel because it was close to the Main and also in a central location. The amenities were amazing and so was the staff, the room was gorgeous and we enjoyed staying at the spa. We had breakfast once, which was delicious and seemed to be good quality.

Unfortunately the room (especially the bath) was not spotless. The housekeeping should improve a little. Offering coffee during the day is an important feature but the price the hotel charge is unacceptable. I paid 6€ for a latte made by an electric coffee machine which was lukewarm and didn’t even taste good. For this price you could employ a barista ;-) I’d say that the price-performance-ratio should improve.

Small thing but the cushion-backrest on the sofa kept sliding backwards despite the weight attached to it. I stayed in another room the week before and the one in there worked perfectly fine so perhaps there was a quality issue on that particular one. Shower pressure could have been a bit stronger.
