Everything exceeded expectations. A superior hotel that deserves a higher rating. I have stayed at 4☆ hotels that were not as good as the Kriti Hotel. Buffet breakfast offers everything you can think of, hot and cold. Staff were amazing, 24 hour desk. Simos, Eleni, Vaggelis, and the others on Reception were the most helpful people. Can help with directions and map, shopping info, excursions, and restaurant recommendations. The cleaning staff were excellent and the hotel is spotless through their relentless efforts. Hello, Liza! Kitchen crew presented perfect deliciously prepared and presented food constantly and daily at breakfast. The room was super comfortable and spacious. Welcome pack includes raki decanter, fresh fruit, nuts, water. Air con and ceiling fan kept the room at a constant bearable temp during 36 degree plus heatwave. Comfortable mattress. Clean and fresh linen, changed daily, if wanted. Room safe. Large TV. Mini bar fridge, stocked with soft drinks. The bathroom, everything is new. Large shower cubicle. Ample space, fresh white towels daily, if needed. Range of free toiletries of high quality from a local company. A very quiet hotel, must be soundproofed. Location is perfect. Close to amenities, but not heavily trafficked. Pool is cleaned fastidiously early every morning by a crew of up to four staff. I would recommend the Kriti to any traveller.

WiFi can be annoyingly slow at times. But, 80% of the time sufficient. Would benefit from a signal boost.

I liked everything. A beautiful hotel in an excellent location. The reception staff were brilliant, very kind and helpful. Great breakfasts and the all day food and beverage service by the beautiful pool area and also at the downstairs lounge was really good. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. I felt totally welcome - pampered, secure and happy!

I only stayed at the hotel for one night so the fact that my room was small didn't worry me. I had a twin-bedded room and the space around the beds was quite limited. However, the room, bed and bedding, bathroom, shower, towels were all extremely clean. There were tea/coffee and fridge facilities and the TV and wifi all worked well. But the biggest surprise was the wonderful buffet breakfast served in the morning. There was a plentiful choice of both hot and cold food, fresh fruit, breads, condiments - and the room itself was bright and welcoming. One of the best breakfasts I've been offered for some time! The hotel and breakfast room staff were very friendly and helpful and there is also an area in the lobby where you can have coffees or drinks.' The hotel is about a 15 minute stroll along the seafront to Chania's old town. Along the way you pass numerous cafes and restaurants - plus some original architecture and wonderful views out to sea. Despite the small size of the room, I would definitely recommend this hotel

Wonderful hotel in the Chania. It provides everything I need. The room was clean and modern. Very comfort bed. There were cosmetics in a bathroom (shampoo, shower gel, conditioner for hair, shower gel), hair dryer, enough towels. Also some fruits and snacks were provided, even raki (traditional greek alcohol) for free. Also there were snacks and drinks in a fridge possible to buy. TV and air conditioner in the room. Breakfast was included, it is enough food to chose. There are also a bar in a hotel that open till late evening. Also the swimming pool, that you can use even after check-out. The towels can be borrowed for free on reception.

The hotel is very beautiful with very good services of all kinds: swimming pool, snack bar, gorgeous breakfast with a large selection, and the possibility to order a packed breakfast box in case you want to go on early excursions. Also, it is conveniently located 5 minutes from the centre. The staff is excellent, always available and caring. Very good hotel, highly recommended.

A couple of minor down sides were: the size of the room, quite small and the fact that the hotel is located opposite an area dedicated to evening outdoor concerts. If the room is facing that side, be prepared to listen to very loud music until 23-24h at night.

Everything! The staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is just 1 block and a half from the coast which means you have the sea and also all the restaurants. Also just 4 blocks away from the old Chania town. It has a bar and you can get some tasty drinks

The pool: too tiny for so many people and no deep at all but more importantly no one controls the sun beds. So, people just put a “towel” in the sun bed and they left it there like some sort of reservation for the whole day, even if they come 3 hours later. That’s really bad because these sun beds are for sharing so no one should be able to book them, more like if it’s empty you seat there and that’s it.

Had an amazing week staying at the Kriti Hotel. The breakfast was delicious every day, was regularly topped up and there was plenty of choice. The pool is a nice size and there are sunbeds all around which we never had a problem getting even when we had a lie in! It’s also in a great location, only about 10 mins walk from the old town, and the staff are lovely. Our room was also cleaned every day and there was always someone at reception if we had any questions.

The only thing I’d have changed would be the size of the room but we paid for the cheapest option so that’s obviously why it was a little smaller - if you want something bigger then pay for it but everything else was superb.

The breakfast was fantastic - hot options, fruit, variety of teas and coffees, cheeses, yogurts and sweet options. The pool was well maintained and received the sun for the day - travelled in late April. Stayed in a double superior room with pool view - clean, regularly cleaned, little gift on arrival and mini fridge you could use if you wished to pay for items. Bar service by pool was excellent - great variety of options if staying by the pool. (Aperol Spritz and Frappes were excellent) Staff were friendly and happy to help. Fitness centre I used daily and just had to book slot prior. Location - beyond expectations. 30min walk to beach, 5 minute walk to restaurants and bars, 10 minute walk to harbour. Pick up easily organised for day trips with tour companies. Could not recommend the Kriti hotel more!

Nothing it was an excellent stay.

The beds were comfortable. Room was well insulated. Water pressure and temperature. The quadruple room was spacious and comfortable. The fresh orange juice and banana pies at breakfast were good. Quick turnaround on laundry. Great location.

The double (twin) room was very small. Barely enough space for 2 adults to stand at the same time. The shower was very small too. Some of the laundry came back wet. Couple of socks went missing in laundry. Laundry items were mixed when they came back. No parking available.

Great location. Close to everything, 10 to 15 minute stroll to the old town. Only a couple of minutes to the harbour and great restaurants. Mini and super market close by too. The staff were so friendly and helpful. It was spotlessly clean. Nice pool. We had to leave for the airport at 4.45am and the hotel provided us with breakfast to take with us.
