Run by a lovely couple who provided all information about Chania, from where to eat, what to do, best beaches etc. Welcomed with a delicious snack of marinated fish, salad, wonderful olives and 2 different types of raki! The hotel is right on the edge of the pedestrianised old town with free parking right outside. 30 seconds walk to waterside restaurants and 7 mins walk to old town centre. For the position and price I’d find this hotel and the owner’s hospitality hard to beat. We were very happy with our stay.

The hotel is located in the center of Chania, within walking distance of all the important places nearby. Our room was pleasant and clean. However, the most remarkable aspect of this hotel is the exceptional owners. They have been incredibly helpful from the very beginning until the end of our stay. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted with delicious treats and provided with wonderful travel tips. I would like to express my gratitude to them once again for their kindness and assistance.

location, comfort, cleanliness, hospitality. this place is a real gem. doesn’t look very smart from the outside but ignore that. On the inside everything is just right. sea view from the balcony and you can swim in the clear waters from the steps of the promenade just 100 metres or so away. (koum kapi beach itself is just a scrap of sand but the promenade has lots of good places to eat and drink). The hotel owners go beyond what is needed. Excellent shower. Room cleaned every day. No nonsense about extra charges for air conditioning (unlike so many other hotels in Greece!)

On arrival we were treated to some local foods and drink. This was a lovely introduction to the area. The bed is very comfortable! The shower was also nice. We had a balcony and could see the sea. Good location next to tasty local restaurants and you can swim/snorkel a 2 minute walk away. Quiet and restful place The people working here are very kind and helpful, always offering fruits and even arranged a taxi for us. Free parking on the street. Free umbrellas to use. There is a refrigerator. Located nearby the old Town. This is what a hotel should be! Everything was clean, comfortable and worked well.

Amazing location, steps away from the water and a strip of restaurants. Right round the corner from the harbour but tucked away from the general bustle. There is a small beach that you can get to via steps down from the promenade. Staff were lovely, very friendly and helpful.

Nothing really. Furniture in rooms is maybe a little dated but that's also part of the charm and they installed new TVs while we were there so there is little to complain about in terms of rooms.

Excellent location within the beautiful city of Chania. It felt like everything was within walking distance. Parking around the area was also quite easy. Very hospitable host, always willing to offer recommendations for beautiful locations to visit in the island of Crete. Also very clean, our room was cleaned every day.

Great hotel, simple, clean, comfortable and well located. Mr. Nikos, the owner, is a kind and helpful host, he gave us the best tips to explore the city and surrounding areas. His wife is also a lovely person and the whole family made me feel at home, which turned the stay much more special. The rooms are always clean, they have a fridge, a comfy bed, tv, air conditioning and we could also stay in a room with a balcony (nice view of the beach). Cafes are right by the door, the old harbour just a few steps away, city centre as well. Theres this little beach in front of the hotel, very nice too. I definitely recommend this place. Wont forget this family and the experience in Chania.

Great hotel with an amazing friendly owner and host. When we first arrived the owner treated us to some tasty local fresh fish, bread, tomatoes, and drinks! The hotel rooms themselves are clean, have AC, and are cleaned daily. The hotel itself is just steps away from the water with dozens of restaurants and cafes. We highly recommend this hotel to everyone and will be coming back in the future!

The location is great just outside of the old town but less than 5 minutes from center. It is just a step away from the sea front. It's a 2 star hotel but comes with a fridge in room and individual AC units per room we also had a balcony. I recommend taking a balcony room. Staff is kind and helpful. Breakfast is nothing special but it's a 2 star and good for what it is. Recommended.
