Good place to stay in Chania! In short: 1. Host is the greatest host in the world. He is super friendly, gave us all the information we needed. We felt so welcome and all our needs and requests were met by him with so much kindness and his recommendations were extremely helpful for us! 2. Apartment: - great located with everything in walking distance: bus station, old town, supermarket, restaurants, shops etc. 3. Others: we arrived at the hotel after 23:00, but it wasn’t a problem at all. He sent us so detailed instructions where was key, how could find it etc. Everything was without stress!

Tina hotel is excellently located, just a few minutes from the Chania Old Town, and Nea Chora beach (quite a decent beach) is just a 20-minute walk away. The room we were given was excellent - it felt more like a small studio flat than a 1-star hotel room, and the balcony was huge. The room was equipped with a small fridge, a kettle and, to our surprise, even a hairdryer; we could not have asked for more. However, what may our stay excellent was the staff at the hotel. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming, but Nikos went above and beyond to make our stay an unforgettable experience; he literally sat with us on the first day to help us plan and decide on the best places to visit around Chania and further afield and the buses to take to travel to each location, even advising us on the best days for the boat trips, to help avoid windy days and rough sea. It was like having a close friend helping you. We recommend Tina hotel 100 per cent and are already planning on returning.

It would be nice if the hotel had a system in place where you could tell them if you want your room to be cleaned or not.

As an avid walker the hotel is 5 minutes from the Old Market, 10 minutes from the Harbor if you keep going once in the market, and 7 minutes from the bus station. The bus station is an excellent way to get around the island with frequent rotations and cheap, easy transport. The hotel is comfortable and charming. It is just outside the market that allows for some calm and quiet moments. The rooms are spacious and offer a more local feel for visiting (smaller bathroom, hot water switch in the room for when you want a shower, handheld shower, etc) Nikos and his brother are very nice and helpful. Good hotel, spacious rooms, simply furnished, very clean and within easy walking distance of everything we needed so a great location for us. Quick and informative responses from Nikos to several pre-arrival questions ... we had excellent instructions for accessing the hotel and our room because of our late arrival ... and throughout our stay both he and his brother Giannis could not have been more helpful.

I recommend Tina Hotel. It has a very good location, being close to everything: the old city, the port, the bus station. The staff are very friendly and Nikos gave us from the beginning a lot of informations and advices about what we can do and visit in Chania and around it. Thank you Ana as well for the cleaning services. It was a very good value for the money.

Tina hotel is in a great location walking distance to the port, shops, transport and many other attractions. Our host Niko was fantastic and nothing was ever too much trouble. Room was quiet at night, comfortable bed, big mirror, sun blinds and bathroom was sufficient. Air conditioning was good and fine adjustable.

Internet was fragile. I had checked in advance of departing my country that it would be good at the hotel as I had an important Zoom meeting on the second night. Granted, the connection somehow held on the evening of the Zoom but the connection bounces between modems across three floors of the establishment all the time, in an attempt to get a connection, meaning occasional outages of connection as it attempts to connect to one or the other. As I say, it did hold on the night, but this was an underlying anxiety all through the Zoom after finding on day one how fragile it was

Appartment was on a great location. Bus stops are very close. Clean and tidy. Personnel was amazing, no issues in communication and very open and friendly people. Always ready to help and give tips on what to visit. Room had a well sized balcony, which is great addition. Will definetly come back here if ever in Chania.

Hotel owner and staff were very friendly. Excellent location 10 minutes walk from old town. Towels and sheets changed every 2 days. Room was big with a lovely balcony. Fridge and kettle were very welcome.

Tina hotel is very comfortable and affordable. The location is perfect and the host Nikos is very kind and helpful! He helped me with my late night arrival making it very convenient for me. He also advised me on where to go work during the day and where to go outside of Chania. He was very pleasant to talk to and I would recommend that everyone meet him.
