I recently had the most incredible stay at a charming little property in Santorini, Greece. Let me tell you, the host and the property itself were nothing short of exceptional. Nick, the owner, deserves a special mention. He's not just a host; he's a genuine, knowledgeable individual who went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable. First off, Nick made our arrival a breeze with airport pickup and drop-off services. But he didn't stop there; he helped us arrange ATV rentals and even booked some amazing sightseeing tours for us. It was like having a personal concierge at our disposal. The property's location was perfect. We were just a short 15-20 minute walk away from the picturesque Perisa beach, and within a 5-minute walk, we had a supermarket and a clinic, just in case. Plus, there was a convenient bus stop nearby, making it easy to explore the island. As for the property itself, it was clean and cute, with a cozy pantry area stocked with all the necessary utensils. It felt like a home away from home. The attention to detail in the design and decor was impressive, and it added to the overall charm of the place. Overall, I can't recommend this property enough. Nick's hospitality and the fantastic location made our Santorini getaway truly memorable. If you're looking for a place to stay on this beautiful island, look no further. You won't be disappointed!

Mind it, the property doesn’t have an Air conditioner and the ceiling fan was not really effective. We came in summer and I felt it was warm overall in the room. But, Nick is a legend, he arranged for a portable fan which made my stay comfortable.

Excellent location - in the historical center of Emporio Santorini with private parking lot. Very close to the biggest - Perissa beach in Santorini, only 5 min drive away. Rooms with very authentic Greek- Santorini vibe. Kids enjoyed private swimming pool. a lot Rooms were clean and well taken care during our stay. Good quality sheets- white and crispy. Kitchen equipped with all necessary stuff. Nicholas was very welcoming and caring host. Helped us with different kind of arrangements (printing out Covid tests e.t.c), rent the scooter and also made sure we feel comfortable. We traveled all over the island during our stay and I came to conclusion that the place we choose - were the best possible choice- away from the main tourist crowds, very close to beach walking distance to restaurants and still only 30 min drive away from Oia. Highly recommended.

I liked everything but just the remark. In our villa rooms were equipped with air ventilators (no conditioner), it was not problem for me or kids, but for my parents who are 70+ it was too hot. For older travelers in top heat season (July-August) it might be problem. Nevertheless Nicholas give my parents separate room with conditioner without extra charge and we appreciate this a lot!

the design style is nice and so Santorini. Staff was nice and friendly. Many cats are in the village and some of them are friendly. The view is not bad. The price is good.

the location is not very good if you are not planning to rent a car. As local bus runs in “hub” style, meaning that if you want to go to anywhere else, you have to go to Thira (the centre of Santorini) first. Although bus tickets are not as expensive as to rent a car, taking buses could also be annoying as you may have to wait a long time or stand in the bus.

the cave hotel was very comfortable. there was AC which worked wonderful in June . all the amenities were there for the kitchenette and bathrooms. One shower was designed to step down into the cave which was interesting. There was a private pool and terrace above with umbrella. The room was very nicely decorated and the staff were very helpful and caring .

If you are wanting to be near the beach or to the cities of Fira and Oia, it is a bit far. There are local buses to take and private transfers of course for fees.

My mother/aunt are elderly and have problems going up/down stairs. I did not realize that the property had a lot of stairs to access/egress first villa. They are both diabetic and my mother runs risk of high pressure due to her health conditions, sleeping in a room with no A/C would have been an issue for her, concerning her health. Host did his best to accommodate us and managed to get us an alternative villa for two out of the three nights with better amenities (A/C’s in both sleeping areas) with less stairs. Both my mother and aunt were very appreciative and thank the host for his prompt responses and his attention towards the health concerns. I am thankful he heard our concerns and addressed the situation as best as he could. The alternative villa was more expensive but he decided to waive the costs; again, host did an amazing job addressing the situation. Both villas were nice with outdoor pools.

First villa did not have A/C’s in all sleeping areas.

Our stay at Timedrops was simply prefect. We stayed in the Cycladic villa, the rooms were clean and furnished in a very local style, and the exterior is even more beautiful. The private pool under the Bougainville is wonderful and the terrace is also a great way to relax after a long day. A special note for Nikos: he explained every single detail about the house and the surroundings of Santorini, and was really kind to help us with the car rental, taxi booking for the port, restaurant recommendation and much more. Always available and helpful, he was the cherry on top of our wonderful stay. We really hope to be back in Timedrops again!

Cool area of Emporio and away from crowded tourism areas. But most of all the manager Nicolaus was exceptional. He made sure we were in a room that worked for us and helped arrange aspects of our stay like the rental car. His kindness and hospitality was amazing.

As cool as area was it was out of the way. 10 to 20 min walk to center of town but to see Santorini from here you need a rental car. If you have troubles walking it isn’t the right place.

very much a place to relax and yet have enough facilities in the accomodation to make you feel comfortable while on vacation

surrounding neighbours who were scaring my friend as walking Down the street at night they point red dots on your back which scared her as she originally thought it could of been a gun although that wasn’t Timedrops fault at all but that experience made my friend feel unsafe in the area

The host was very accommodating from arranging transfers to delivering breakfast to the accommodation.

Nothing that can be changed as it is a beautiful period property however as a a tall family having to bend down through all the doors or not being able to stand fully in one of the bedrooms can be awkward.

Nicholas was so helpful and went above and beyond to cater to our every need. Villa in a really cool location built into the side of a castle with some nice cafés nearby. Villa was clean and furnished lovely with a private and well maintained pool and patio area. Was a really nice treat for our last couple of nights in Santorini and great value for money.

The only downside was the lack of air conditioning as it was quite hot during our stay.
