We traveled with a party of 9. The entire Staff, Breakfast, Dinner in the Bar and all Rooms were outstanding! Aurea Ana Palace Hotel made us feel like Royalty and exceeded all of our expectations. A special thank you to Bruno and Vicktoria, they went above and beyond to make sure our stay was enjoyable. The Toilet Paper, OMG!

I have stayed in several 5 star hotels in Budapest and for price and value, by far this is the best. I'm a Guest Relation Manager for 15 years now so I know when it comes to service how important that is. From Check in till Check out everything was impeccable... I honestly didn't miss anything and didn't find any flaw (and trust me I was looking) Special thanks to the FO manager Bruno, F&B manager Pasquale, high praises for the Front Desk team and F&B team during breakfast. I can not emphasize enough how kind and professional was the full staff I have encountered. I hope this finds the GM: Make sure you will do everything in your power to keep the current staff for a long time and they will be appreciated well for their job. This is the only way you will have full occupancy in the future.

My husband and I did a 5 city Chrismas Market tour. This hotel was our favorite. Bruno and Veronica and all the other staff were helpful & welcoming, providing a wonderful experience. The hotel was beautiful, the breakfast was supurb, the beds were very comfortable and the spa and steam were a wonderful way to warm up annd relax after a long day. I will always stay here when we visit Budapest in the future, and we have visited Budapest 4 times in the past. On a scale to 5 I give it a 6. Location was between the Parliment and St. Stephens, which for us was perfect, quiet and safe location but walking distance or metro to everything within a few minutes.

Nothing.

The family room we got was perfect with one king size bed and a double bed for the kids. That was was an excellent option otherwise we would have booked two separate rooms. The room had three bathrooms, very comfortable beds, and was being cleaned every day. Also the breakfast was exceptional

Just a small note for a 5 star they should change the slippers everyday but i guess you should ask for yourself without any problem. All the young staff was excellent but i think they should have also an older manager only for customers to feel a little bit more safe and secure maybe.

Amazing building and its history, the manager of the hotel was excellent and really helpful! Excellent room size and bathroom.very comfy bed.

The people in Budapest are really rude and not welcoming

If you're planning a trip to Budapest, this is unquestionably one of the top 5-star hotels you must consider. I've traveled to over 20 countries in my life, and I've never been this thrilled about a hotel. The staff was incredibly helpful, the room was spacious with an exquisite king-size bed and the most comfortable mattress I've ever slept on. The indoor spa was exceptional, complete with a heated swimming pool, and the cleaning service was impeccable. They even welcomed me with a complimentary Hungarian sweet cake in my room upon check-in. The room itself was more than 25 square meters, making it feel like a suite, and the price was quite reasonable. You can book an Airbnb in London or Paris for a similar price. Plus, the hotel's location is just a few meters away from the parliament building. I can't recommend it enough, and I'm definitely planning to return to Budapest just to stay at this hotel again.

I liked everything

Wonderful location. Beautiful, spacious rooms. The hotel itself (especially the restaurant where breakfast is served) is absolutely gorgeous! Breakfast was good with nice variety (make sure to order from the waiters some egg based dishes) however the food quality did not meet our expectation for a 5* hotel. This can be improved.

Few minor things that hotel can improve on - the pipe in our shower made very loud noise when showering, quite unpleasant. The music that is played in hall by the lift can be heard from the room - it is on 24/7 and for someone who is a light sleeper like myself was very distracting and upsetting.

Superb location, great attention from the staff, amazing hotel room with cool design especially for Sisi fans, breakfast hall was unbelievable.

Only thing you can potentially pick on is that if you locate a hotel in Budapest it would be nice if breakfast options were a bit more local and staff was not entirely Spanish. If you want to hear everyone speaking Spanish and eat chorizo every morning you would simply choose Spain for your holiday destination. But that’s just one small thing, nothing important if you look at all the wonderful perks of this place.

After staying for a week, was an absolutely delightful experience. Located just 10 minutes from the main attractions. The breakfast buffet was very rich, and presented a wide variety of options. Excellent service ensures a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Bottom line, a highly recommended for anyone looking for luxury, comfort and a good location with a little walking.

I really do not recommend eating at the bar, the food was simply not tasty (even I can say the worst I got in 5 star hotels). Additionally, a bottle of water is not provided daily to the room, especially given the isolated location of the hotel with no supermarkets nearby. For a 5 star hotel, this was unexpected and detracted from the experience.

The hotel was WONDERFUL, a palace that has been beautifully restored to retain its character and grandeur, with every detail designed for elegance and comfort. We were given a huge bedroom with a bathroom and separate shower, and found a delicious Budapest dessert welcoming us in our room. The room was quiet and the bed was so comfortable we always slept well. The breakfast was an amazing buffet with a huge selection of foods for every taste. Eating breakfast in the beautiful, grand ballroom dominated by the huge portrait of Empress Sissy was a daily treat. We dined at the hotel one night, the food was delicious and service impeccable. The staff were all very helpful, friendly and efficient, with Bruno, the Front Office Manager, making sure our stay was perfect, while his staff were great, giving advice on sights and calling taxis super-fast. The hotel is very central, close to St Stephen's Basilica, restaurants and shops, and right next to the must-see Hungarian Parliament building with its tram and metro connections. It's just a block from the Danube, close to the tour meeting points and within walking distance of Buda, on the other side of the Danube. For what it offers, the hotel is very good value, it just doesn't get any better!
