Big room with also a sofa and great breakfast! Building new , everything really clean.

A little bit of noise coming from the highway, the curtain in the shower and the bathroom should be bigger compared to the room.

The hotel is clean and comfortable and the hotel staff is welcoming and helpful. This is a wonderful, affordable hotel option just outside of the city. Parking is free and convenient on site if you rent a car.

When booking, it’s important to realize that the hotel sits well outside of the sites and dining you may want to see and experience in Reykjavik. You will need to take a taxi or a bus into downtown. The hotel is a bit of a walk to the nearest Straeto bus stop, and figuring out how walk to the stop is a bit tricky. We were glad we took the city bus as we got a sense of the area and the locals. If you want the most convenient transportation, we recommend renting a car at the airport upon arrival.

Breakfast was good, room was clean and towels were replaced regularly. Included toiletries were a godsend with Iceland's sulphurous water and didn't reek like the cheap supermarket shampoo did when it was mixed with the water. 24/7, English speaking reception who let me drop off a bag before check in.

A lot of the local tour companies don't pick up from that location which isn't directly the hotels fault but is an awkward reality when coupled with the kind of iffy bus links.

Check in was very easy. Helpful staff. Enough towels and there was nice towel warmer, which was a nice addition. The beds was really comfortable! Blackout curtains worked really well. From the hotel it is a 15 minute drive to Reykjavik. The room had a lot of storage with an awesome wardrobe.

A small fridge would have been helpful in the room setup. The hotel was close to the highway and could hear the vehicles zooming through.

Good location for going into Reykjavik centre or out to explore the island. Decent breakfast spread and a good price compared to the rest of Reykjavik

There is an eggy smell coming from the hot water in the tap or shower similar to the geysir we visited. Unsure if this relates to how it is heated but may want to hold your breath when showering.

So, after attending summer school at the University of Reykjavik, I started looking for a hotel where I could give a presentation at an online conference. Even though check-in is often much later, the staff was polite, my room was ready early in the morning before my conference began at 9 AM. Additionally, the receptionist who was working on the day I arrived (June 26) assisted me with transportation questions and scheduled a bus to the KEF airport! The breakfast options were plenty and really excellent! p.s. There is a fantastic pizza place not far from the hotel.

The staff was very helpful and informative. They were able to quickly respond to all the emails I wrote to them. The ladies that work in the morning and the gentleman that works the overnight shift were particularly helpful. There is also a nice mall nearby which is walking distance.

The location of the hotel is a little far from Reykjavik. However, there are a few tour companies such as Reykjavik Excursions, which offers pick up and drop off to the hotel. The local bus or renting a car is also another option too.

Staff is amazingly helpful, in my opinion the crew is the main asset of the place, if you have a request, they go an extra mile to help you with the issue.

The single room is a bit noisy, as it´s facing the street, so I´d recommend to change the glass for thicker in the window (and perhaps 'refresh' that particular room in general), but the twin room was way less noisy and in better standard.

It was very clean and comfortable. Ervin at the front desk was so kind and helpful! The breakfast was good as well. We stayed here our first night in Iceland and it was the perfect spot to nap after arriving on an early morning flight. It was also an easy drive into the city later in the day. The beds were very comfortable and the room was super quiet.

One of the cheap nice hotels I found in Reykjavik for thanks to booking.com. Very clean rooms. The hotel has really friendly staff. They were able to provide for my requests of cutlery dead of the night. The location is also great! bus stops are near by. hotel also provides a pick up service from the airport for an economic fee. Breakfast was also pretty decent. Not many vegetarian options but with bread and salad veggies, it’s also easy to set a sandwich. :)
