Breakfast was attractive, varied and enjoyable. The staff were all friendly, helpful and well-informed about the town and its facilities and the opportunities for visitors. They helped make our short stay in Reykjavik memorable.
The centre of the town is a 35 minute walk. Once I got to the central area, most of the shops seemed aimed at short-sighted tourists intent on collecting all too tacky souvenirs. On a short visit, it was difficult to get much impression of the way Icelanders live on a day to day basis. There is enormous pressure on visitors to buy in to “experiences” but not much opportunity to meet or understand everyday Icelandic people.

Room was spotless. Hotel was impressive. The breakfast buffet, included in the rate, was excellent, with great selection, good coffee, and tons of options. At breakfast, make yourself a couple of sandwiches and take them with you, so you don't have to shell out money for lunch. Hotel staff were so nice. Rooms and bathrooms are small; that's Europe, so just accept that. Hotel is very near Laugardalslaug municipal pool. Take advantage of that. For about $10, you can go swim in their wonderful pools, and enjoy their steam room and exercise facilities. Next door to the hotel is Olifa La Madre Pizza, which has excellent food, though the one dessert they offered was a bit disappointing. The hotel is not really within walking distance from downtown, but it's only a 12 minute drive to downtown. Free parking is nice.
Rooms and bathrooms are a bit small.

Breakfast was fabulous and the staff went above and beyond to help us find our way around Iceland! Gold Star to Lavinia who took SUCH good care of us and helped us book excursions! Thank you so much!
Would’ve liked access to ice machines on the floor and there was no exhaust fan in our bathroom

- Breakfast option was excellent, as my flight arrived very early, the team even said I could have a tea or coffee. - Close to ATM, like 100m - Close to bus stop - Very accommodating for early checkout since allot of the flights depart very early, as I had a shuttle pickup at 3AM, they offer you tea/coffee and a croissant or if you want to pay then there is the full breakfast offer.
- Curtains in room a bit too short, at least for my specific room - While the hotel was a little bit out of town, it was still within walking distance if you really want to walk, took me around 40 minutes, bus is about 20 minutes

The hotel is typically Scandinavian/Icelandic spartan style but incredibly comfortable. The breakfast had lots of tasty options and the staff was very helpful. There is a fantastic pizza place right outside the door of the hotel I would highly recommend. We didn't think we would want pizza in Iceland, but we also didn't feel like walking more after a long day and were extremely glad we tried it.
The only negative was how far it was from downtown Reykjavik. It was a 20 minute walk down a rather busy road, which would have been absolutely fine but for the fact it was November so it was dark and the wind was brutal. Not a dig on the hotel, though, as that was more my not understanding what was where in the area.

The rooms were clean, quiet, and comfortable. The breakfast spread was amazing (though busy, so get there early and do follow the instructions for the waffles!). The staff was friendly and helpful. The parking garage was free and convenient. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and would absolutely stay again and recommend to others
The desk space was rather small and there isn’t a lot of extra room. However, we weren’t there to spend time in the room anyway

The reception staff were so nice and accomodating. To the best of their ability, they were able to provide my family and I 2 rooms that are close together. The breakfast staff were so friendly and kind. The food choices were great. Food exceeded our expectations. Overall, we enjoyed our stay in Reykjavik Lights Hotel by Keahotels
At first, we were having a hard time looking for the building. The signage are not noticeable from the road.

Location slightly outside downtown Reykjavik but right next to Botanical Gardens and pool with excellent walking trails. Excellent breakfast. Comfy rooms. Free parking. Pizza restaurant downstairs was great.
Closer to downtown might be more what people want but we easily drove there (or you can walk (25 minutes) or take bus).

We stayed at this hotel because central city hotels were fully booked and were very pleasantly surprised. Excellent breakfast offered a wide array of fresh foods and Icelandic specialties! Hotel is clean, modern, unpretentious. Warm, helpful front desk staff.
Room (triple) a little tight but okay. Location of hotel requires driving a car or taking a bus to get to sights.

Room was very comfy and clean, breakfast was superb! we really enjoyed our stay.
FlyBus tour company made our experience a bit sad because they forgot to pick us up to take to the airport. we bought tickets with flybus thru the hotel advertisement but provider failed to pick us up. I still give them credit because they ordered taxi for us and took us to airport with no extra charges but still.... Has nothing to do with the hotel, just reporting my overall experience.
