It is my 2nd stay in a week after I did the round of the Island. Well positioned outside the center of Reykjavik so that you can easily leave the city or go to the center. Quiet neighbourhood. Clean room. Better isolation this time regarding cold.

The central heater of the room did not offer the heat it should. Like a 2 out of a max 5 operating. The fridge seems not not be working. I think it produced the heat in the room due to it being under the desk and in a small closet. In order to keep a cart of milk cold, I left it outside the window where there were 4 degrees C If you have a room with a window to the main road, you hear the cars passing by.

The breakfast was simple, but good. Hotel has codekey entry, the room was small, but compliant and with practical equipment. In dining room cofee and tea maker. In front of the hotel free parking for 5-6 cars, To the center of Reykjavik is about 45 min on foot. (2km). A quiet place, I reccomend for all, who plan rent a car. Gas station 300m from hotel, supermarket 500m and about 250m there is a Reykjavik swimming pool wit termal bath, hot hubs and especially wit hot salt mineral water. It was a good relax in hot hubs after long flying and arriving from airport.

The Icelandic weather is very quick changing combined with a strong wind. And there wasnt good meteorological condition to view Aurora .In time about 4PM is very strong traffic on the streets, better choice is moving on foot than with car.

The hotel has an easy check-in (code entry access) and the room was great. The bed matress is very soft and comfortable. The breakfast is very decent with multiple things to choose from. It is located close to multiple bus stops.

If you plan to spend multiple days in this hotel you may get bored of the breakfast quite quickly because the offer is the same every day (but anyway it is delicious). The coffee machine was one great dissapointment because the beverage it pours into your cup is far from anything I would call coffee. It tasted even worse than the instant coffee that is offered next to it. In the future I would recommend to buy a better automatic coffee/espresso machine.

Having a washer and dryer was nice.

I didn’t really enjoy the basement suite. It smelt a little musty. I think the exterior really needs to be updated. I was difficult getting into the main building for breakfast, and it would have been nice to access the breakfast area for coffee during the day and evening. It would have been nice to have a microwave. I didn’t like that random things were stored in the living room closet and under the bathroom sink.

Breakfast was simple but very very delicious. We could choose from around 10-15 different kind of foods every single morning. Coffee was good aswell and all the foods were filled up in very short time when needed. Room was clean, bed was very comfortable, parking was available all the time. City center was close (around 5 min by car). The staff was very friendly and if we had any question than they helped us straight away. Highly recommended hotel!!!!

I didn't have any issue with the accomodation at all.

Perfect check in - check out. All works based on personal PIN, no cards, no keys! Very clean Hotel located a bit far from center, but very calm area on another hand. Access to hot tea and coffee 24h which is very handy. Swimming pool in neighbourhood.

A bit strange feeling when sleeping below footpath level and constantly looking at reg plates of cars parked in front of the window and above your head ;) Maybe next time I'll be more lucky and get room at first floor, at least :)

Location was great, ample street parking. Studio was a good size, modern and clean. Plenty of dishwear/cleaning supplies provided. Breakfast was nice, fresh baked croissants/pain au chocolat were tasty!

Door floor guards were raised but blended in with flooring so our youngest son tripped over them every time and even us adults tripped/stubbed toes. No passcode was given to enter the hotel next door for breakfast, when the bell was rang there was no answer. Eventually another guest let us in.

Clean, modern, functional hotel close to the Laugardalslaug swimming pool (we came for a water polo tournament). Nice bathroom. Good breakfast. Strong heating. Little garden opening from the breakfast room, you can have coffee outside (if it is not raining). Free parking in front of the hotel and the streets. Altogether better hotel than others we used in Iceland in the same price range. Nothing special, but good value for money (considering prices in Iceland).

It is 30 min walk to downtown. Small rooms. No lobby, although there is some communal space in front of the lift and in the breakfast room, if you travel with company and want to gather somewhere. There is pratically no staff presence (only during breakfast and cleaning time). Very efficient, but if you need to talk to someone you must call a dispatcher, but that may not help. During our stay some security system broke down and there was beeping for almost 24 hours before someone came to fix it. (Could not be heard in the rooms though.)

The rooms were comfy and it was nice to have a code to get in the room. The breakfast was adequate and perfect for us before we hit the road.

The curtains were not completely blackout. And There was no staff there when we arrived a little early at 2pm and we didn’t have international calling so we couldn’t call the number at the front desk. It felt unclear if we could just go to our room or not (which you could! That was nice, I just wished there was a sign there)

Room as shown on pictures: small but all that is necessary; breakfast was great; our room was facing the street (not the backyard shown on the picture) but although there is some traffic during the day, it's getting qiet in the night. It is not located directly in the city center but we did not mind to walk. If there is no parking spot directly in front of the building left, you can park in the next street.

The room was a bit small if you have big suitcases. It was quite warm in the room and you cannot control the temperature (at least we couldn't find it). Since you can only open the small window, it's not that easy to bring some fresh air in the room or bathroom.
