The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom very clean. Enjoyed Wally’s Bar.
There were only 2 towels in the bathroom. One was definitely the bath mat. The other was too small to be a bath towel and larger than most hand towels. Perhaps the Irish do it differently but I used the bath mat as a bath towel as it was larger and the other as the bath mat. The other comment I have was that I saw no temperature control and it was quite chilly when I got up in the morning.

The location is perfect close to the center and other attractions and means of transportation. The hotel felt very safe, there was always someone available to open the door. They also serve breakfast for a great price.
This review for American visitors, what I found very different. There is no AC in the room, this is very common in that part of the Europe. And to be honest you don't need AC the weather is perfect. There are also no fridges. If you are looking to stay in a room with 2 beds. Keep in mind their twin beds are a bit smaller.

Staff accomodated our location request, and I was able to call the office to ask for late check-out from my bed (10er an hour though, which is a bit cheeky, but the option to pay by the hour was nice). We did not eat at the hotel, but we were allowed to order delivery to the hotel and eat it in our room, which I really appreciated. Bed was comfy, two small towels and two large were provided, and more were offered. Location is close to train stations and Luas stops to get you anywhere in the county.
Twice cleaners mistakenly enter the room! Once when I had just left the shower, which was quite awkward. This was before regular check out time as well, so quite inexcusable. The other was during our late check out hour, which kinda defeats the purpose if you have to stay alert to remind people you've paid to relax. TV was small, making it difficult to view from the bed. Unavoidable noise in the area, thanks to seagulls in the morning. Windows didn't isolate the noise well, so it woke me in the morning.

Very good location, very friendly staff, atmosphere of the historic house. We were able to check in earlier as expected. The backyard room we had was quiet. Storage of the suitcases after check-out until departure was no problem.
At breakfast the croissants were quickly sold out (unfortunately for us because a boy took out a lot at once and his mother looked away) and the staff didn't check for a long time. Likewise, the milk container of the coffee machine was quickly empty and refilled late. All in all, the breakfast offer was appropriate for the hotel and the quality was good, but the staff should react more quickly when there is a high rush or at least tell when it will be refilled.

Very friendly check in staff, very comfortable and quiet room. Breakfast looked good but we didn't have time to stay. Very reasonable nightcap in the bar.
The hotel is in Upper O Connell Street, an area with a poor rep in terms of drug activity etc. There was only one girl at the the check in, she had to leave a lot to serve the bar, and anyone could have access to the hotel. We met a very shady character upstairs who skulked along the corridor, keeping his face invisible in a hoodie. Mentioned this to the receptionist: she had noticed him as well. Maybe more front of house security, even temporarily, until the area cleans up it's act.

I had gotten stuck in Dublin during a layover after a nightmare of a travel day and found the Hotel George after the Aer Lingus staff recommended I look around on booking.com. The Hotel was lovely - it had a quaint yet elevated bed and breakfast feel to it with a ton of Irish charm and character. The location is also amazing because you’re right in the city Centre with plenty of options for food, sight seeing, and not too far from Pearse station if you need to take the train anywhere. The staff were very friendly as well and recommended good places to eat nearby and organized a taxi for me to the airport the next day. Overall I would absolutely recommend this place if you’re looking for an authentic Irish-feeling hotel experience without all of the (unnecessary) frills and whistles of a huge hotel chain.

The hotel was a short walk from the bus stop when I got in from the airport. The staff was incredibly friendly and went above and beyond the whole time I was there, even dealing with my lost luggage issues and making tea for me when my trip out at the end of my stay got delayed. I had booked about 15 minutes before I checked in because my flight in had taken an extra day and a bunch of reschedules, then I had to stay in town to track down my luggage before heading out to my final destination. It was a lifesaver to finally get a bath, wifi, and a place to rest.
Nothing really!

The location is fantastic. The rooms are small but clean and has a good design. I like the paint colors and decor. Someone put some thought into it. Notice the led lights Inder the windows. And the silver tips on the rod iron fence. The attention to detail says a lot to me. It gives the place a little swagger all its own.
I don’t like the height of the bath tubs. I would just as soon get rid of the tub and go with a stand up shower for safety. That might be a cultural thing for me but I felt a bit like a trapeze artist getting in the thing. I would absolutely stay again. This wouldn’t deter me but if they were ever remodeling I would make the switch.

Perfect location, stylish forniture. The rooms come with towels, shampoo and soap, bottles of water and what needed to make coffee and tea. Staff was super nice and kind. We really appreciated their service with the luggage storage. Great value for money considering that it is in Dublin and in the city centre).
Beds (not soft enough for us) and lack of sound isolation (not so bad that you cannot sleep, unless you have very noisy neighbors which was not our case)

Very generously sized room for price, very comfortable bed, very clean, helpful staff. Very handy location for central city. Excellent value for money. Booking.com formula rates my responses as 8, but for many conservative customers it would be edging towards 9.
It is an older, large hotel and not a flashy place - something that suited us better than some modern hotels, especially given the sapciousness. On first day water temperature was low but it corrected on 2nd day before we had to raise it with staff.
