Very bright rooms in a central location with plenty of nearby free parking. Huge and delicious full Irish breakfast, with gluten free options . Staff were very friendly and obliging, and took a genuine interest in us as guests and in ensuring we had a great stay in the Kenmare area. Accommodations are above the pub which hosts live music, but there was absolutely no noise from the music, the patrons, or the street. Good shower with lots of pressure and hot water

Toilet was a little slow to flush on our arrival, but the proprietor fixed it promptly

The location was AMAZING!! For a very busy street , the rooms out the back were sooooo quiet! Perfect!! Very very spacious huge room. Lovely cosy colours. Very happy. Could walk straight to the shops outside as well as the stone circle and wee bridge all within easy reach. Breakfast was to a great standard . I chose the poached eggs which were done to perfection & came with good old Irish soda bread and mushrooms & tomatoes too. So much to choose from in addition and I had a window seat looking onto the street too. Some great books in the breakfast area about Ireland . I thought I'd booked a single room but when I was shown to my room it was a double. Happy bunny!!!!!

I am travelling in my own. I walked in to Donnabhains for a meal the night before. I was shown to a table right at the very very back with no prospect of speaking to anyone. I waited but no one came with a menu or to take a drink order. In the minutes that I waited I decided to go elsewhere . I am sure it would have all been lovely but a combination of factors moved me on. I found somewhere with live music and chatted to some locals which I thoroughly enjoyed!!

This is a great place to stay whilst in this lovely Kerry town. O'Donnabhain's is right at the heart of the town and offers a bar and restaurant as well as the accommodation. The rooms in this place are huge and most have more than one bed - ours had a double and two singles and there was still plenty of space. The rooms are also very quiet, with no noise from the busy bar downstairs.

Whilst this was not an issue for us, there is no lift in this property so access to the rooms requires climbing two flights of stairs.

Great location right in the heart of Kenmare. Large, clean. comfortable room, with en-suite. Plenty of power outlets. Excellent cooked to order breakfast set me up for the day. Huge bar area (serves food although I did not eat here). Live music on the evenings I was there.

Parking is a bit hit and miss. Some parking at the back of the property and street parking nearby, if you can find it. Larger town carpark out by the Catholic Church.

Great location in the village. Great energy and happy, accommodating staff. Breakfast was good. The pub has great food and fun live music. Rooms are modest and comfortable.

Our room did not have air conditioning, but we located a fan in the office that helped to get the air circulating and cooled it off. The room might have been a bit cleaner as I noticed a great deal of dust and scrap behind the bed and nightstands when I was trying to plug phone chargers in. Besides that, everyone was friendly, and cheerful, and we had a great stay.

Restaurant and bar downstairs was very convenient. The room was large and comfortable. The breakfast was lovely and the gal who made it was sweet. The property was very convenient for us to visit Beara, Killarney and Ring of Kerry.

The parking was not on the property. It was not too difficult to find a spot close by, but we were not expecting that. There was no remote for the tv.

We were very happy with our stay. Room was very clean and comfortable 😁 it is in the centre of this beautiful village, so very easy to commute to 😊 very friendly staff and easy to communicate and we felt like at home😁 also, great breakfast and the lovely lady serving us was Amazing 😍 really trying to entertain our son, so we could eat in a bit of peace😊😊😊 thank You for such a lovely accommodation 😁😁😁

This was my second stay after a 10 year break. It was as excellent as it was the first time. It is the only place I could recommend to people in the area. Kenmare is a my destination place to go if I go back to Ireland again. The staff was great. Everybody was helpful with suggestions. The waiters were fantastic to my daughter. The staff and the facility made my daughters and my stay the best in Ireland for our vacation. My daughter is still talking about our stay.

Breakfast excellent. Room adequate - suggest kettle/coffee/tea-making in room by default - not have to collect from breakfast room. Location in town centre ideal. Atmosphere and staff great.

Small fridge in room would be a great addition. Irish fiddle music appreciated but small variety on loop became wearing - suggest more variety. Advise up front when food not on in evening. Wifi was at best poor - suggest most guests would expect better as we are all now addicted to our devices.

The owners are two of the loveliest people I’ve ever met. They welcomed me and made me feel at home during my ten day stay. Jer told me where to go to play music. Breakfasts and the food in their pub was all excellent, especially the soups and the salmon. And the the brown bread. They have a wonderful collection of old Guinness and other advertisements throughout the pub. The bar gents took great care of me and made me feel at home. The seat by the fireplace was a lovely place to sit and read.
