My husband, daughter, and I absolutely loved our time at Rookery Lane. We stayed in the Snug Room for 4 nights and it was the perfect size for our small family. Everything was spotless and the beds were comfortable. We really appreciated the fan as we were visiting during a bit of a heat wave. Also being able to open the windows fully was lovely. We ate breakfast in the cafe downstairs every morning and it was delicious. Great coffee, too. Kenmare is such a lovely village and the perfect spot to explore Beara, Killarney National Park, Ring of Kerry, and Dingle.
No complaints! Everything was fantastic and thoughtfully done. A very restful four nights.

Kristin was great at replying to questions and queries, she saved a table at the cafe downstairs on request. Service in the cafe was excellent, staff were attentive and customer centred. Food was excellent and we were quickly served. Would recommend highly, everyone was impressed by the food and service available. The apartments were well furnished, cosy and spacious. Apartments were very clean and there was noted attention to details.
It hard to find fault but all I could say is the noise from the cafe downstairs might bother some if they were a light sleeper.

Beautiful, cozy apartment with a kitchen. Loved that there was a kettle and a French press. I was able to get coffee grounds from the quaint store across the street, and have morning coffee with a pretty view of the town and mountains in the background. The apartment is clean and bright. Close to shops, cafes, and restaurants. Free parking close by, too!
Absolutely nothing wrong with the apartment. Only unfortunate thing is that we were there during the two days the cafe downstairs was closed, so we weren't able to take advantage of it. The menu and ambience of it looks great, though!

It’s a small boutique hotel with modern rooms, nicely appointed and quiet, in a hip corner of Kenmare. There’s a tiny, but very modern restaurant, on the ground floor with exceptional food and wonderful service and a couple of tables on the sidewalk out front. It’s not a thru street, so it’s a lovely spot for tea. Just a minute from shopping, a park, historic sites, etc.
We only stayed two nights - should have stayed longer!

Beautiful studio apartment in the heart of Kenmare. Located just one minute walk from the buzz of the square, but a really quiet location. Big comfy bed and powerful shower. Bright and airy. Kitchenette has all you need, but the cafe downstairs shouldn't be missed for a fab breakfast. Ample free parking within a minutes walk. Great hosts - very responsive to any questions about the area. We'll definitely return.
It was perfect.

location is perfect - a quiet street just off the center of Kenmare. the apartment was sunny and spacious for 2 - would be fine for a third as well. We didn’t meet the owner as entry was by code. a discount was offered in the restaurant below and the staff there was very helpful and friendly t plus the breakfasts and lunches were great!
there was one flight of stairs - perhaps it will teach me to pack lighter!

Spotlessly clean, comfortable bed and sofa, good quality bedlinen etc. Nice complimentary toiletries. Good location. Free car park very nearby. The adjoining cafe downstairs is very good. Did not meet the owner, but friendly communications.
Had a back room and the view could have been nicer. Someone else had complained about the extractor fan noise from the cafe. We noticed it, but it wasn't so loud at all.

the property is centrally located and beautifully finished with everything that you could wish for on a trip away. lovely big shower, super comfortable bed, kitchen facilities and area to eat (if you fancy). I didn’t as I ate in the many great restaurants in Kenmare and had breakfast both mornings downstairs in the cafe, which was divine. everyone was so friendly and as I was travelling on my own I got some great tips from Kate.
nothing! I’ll definitely be back.

I love the setup, especially with the Juliette balcony. It's a nice touch to have a breakfast place right below. The overall experience was wonderful, very close to multiple scenic sites as well as pubs and restaurants.
The internet didn't work (Could be one off as I was told they are updating the network to fiber.) Though it's not a bad excuse to be off the grid.

The location of this property is truly exceptional. Very central but away from the main street, loads of parking available either outside the property or a short 2minute walk. The property itself was very spacious, well accommodated with a large comfy bed, dining table and chairs with a small kitchenette. A very modern en-suite with large double shower room accompanies the studio apartment. I would absolutely recommend this property and will look forward to staying there again.
