Kathleen was so welcoming -;always ready with a cup of tea and a chocolate biscuit. PK Lodge is spotlessly clean and well-maintained, and breakfast options range from the light to the extremely filling. The locally made yoghurt is worth a trip in itself. Kathleen's very flexible shuttle service to and from Skibbereen is super for those without a car. Location is very quiet and conducive to a good night's sleep.

That I had to leave so soon.

Our host was lovely and very welcoming. Our accommodation was a large room with en-suite. It was on the edge of Skibbereen. We had a lovely dinner at the Church in town. Location was perfect for the night kayaking we did in Lough Hyne - first time seeing phosphorescence. We returned after midnight which wasn't a problem for our host. Great breakfast in the morning just what we needed.

It is a very beautiful remote house, just outside of Skibbereen. The neighborhood is quiet and it’s generally a good place to stay. Pat and Kaithleen were very accommodating and helpful, quite pleasant people. Pat is very positive and talkative and want to learn a lot of stuff about his visitors and their country.

Everything was great

Well furnished with good facilities. Very clean. Plenty of parking outside. The property is just off the main road to Skibbereen but far away to be really quiet. The host was so helpful and accommodating. Their dog was so friendly and gentle which added to our stay. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice.

Super nice, friendly and welcoming hostess. Clean and comfy room, calm area. For us it was perfect for the one night stay during our road trip.

Shower was not working properly, water came either cold or very hot, no matter how much we tried to regulate it.

B&B was clean, bright and comfortable and located within a 5 minute drive of Skibereen town centre. Kathleen and Pat were lovely welcoming hosts and happy to suggest trips and attractions in the area. Room was comfortable. Plenty of parking.

A small thing - breakfast menu was adequate but could have been more varied. No cheese/meats or soft fruits offered.

Pat and Kathleen were the perfect hosts, thank you so much! we were impressed by their kindness, the breakfast was great and left no wish open, they gave us great advice on the area and made us feel at home, we are so grateful. Would recommend without any hesitation and stay again any time. Thank you!

Nothing not to like

The moment we arrived at p.k Lodge in Skibbereen was amazing.Kathleen greeted us with a lovely warm smile and welcomed us with so much kindness,respect,humour and chat. She made us feel right at home.It was so relaxing and peaceful more than what you want when you go away.She was very accomdating the minute we arrived .From asking us if we wanted tea or coffee or if we simply needed anything at all.she also made sure that she was there if we needed any assistance with anything no matter the time of day which was thoughtful The facilties were superb .The rooms ensuite dining area were so clean.The space itself was lovely so much space and the drive could fit a bunch of cars. Breakfast was delicilous and she was very considerate and went out of her way effortlessly to accommate our gluten free choices There was so much choice for breakfast and to be able to have various options for breakfast was great .I throughly enjoyed the stawberry greek yoghurt scambled egg rashers and her personally taking time to make fresh squeezed orange juice. By the way its unreal She was so helpful to give us ideas where to go for spins and what to do in general.The endless chats how we got on with our day and stay was nice. The b and b felt very homey comfortable and the garden is breath taking.The touches added to the b and b are nice We throughly enjoyed meeting her lovely doggie Abu he is so friendly and also so welcoming and well mannered.He was another lovely face to see to.come in.We already miss him and our timr at p.k lodge.We definitely made some lovely friends and memories while staying We definitely would come back as it was a fantastic stay kathleen does a wonderful job and is a terrific host and makes you feel like youve known her for a long time .She is very sweet and caring.The cost of the room is definitely value for money .Its literally very near to skibbereen . I definitely would recommend this place to family and friends.

Lovely family run B&B close to Skibereen town. The house was lovely and bright with a comfortable home feel. Our room was a good size with an en-suite bathroom. Very nice breakfast in comfortable breakfast room/lounge. The hosts Pat & Kathleen were very welcoming & friendly.
