We had such a wonderful time at this property! The rooms were large and the beds were comfy. The staff were very friendly and always helpful. The property is not huge so I feel like every room has a beautiful view, be it garden or pool/ocean. This is definitely a wedding venue! There were about 10 while we were there. We didn't mind it. There were also bunches of kids but we didn't mind that, either. The spa was wonderful!

The food in the Japanese and Mexican restaurant were very good. The buffet that was open all the time was hit or miss. Even if the food was tasty, it tended to be cold. We did end up working around it but If you are a real foodie, this isn't your place. We did not go to the French or Italian place.

Everything: we checked out of a different hotel because it was nothing like the pictures on Booking.com. But Dreams Riviera was completely different. It was so much better. Even if we don't end up getting a refund from the first hotel for checking out early, it doesn't matter. Dreams Riviera was excellent and we will be returning to this resort next year for sure.

We didn't like leaving at the end of the vacation. We all wanted to stay longer.

I LOVED EVERYTHING! This was the BEST TIME OF MY LIFE!! There for Sons wedding and Fun around every corner, food everywhere, swim up bar, kayaking, weddings, music, out door movies for children every night, the massages were NICE and Relaxing, lots of guest to chat with! karaoke, BEST OF ALL WE WERE CATERED too by Super nice Employees and there were A lot of them Everywhere. always asking what they could get you or do for you!! THEY didn’t miss a Beat! From room service, to dinners to pool service! Lots of Nice restaurants to choose from! I was so impressed I want to go back next week 😂

The long waits for COVID testing! our appointment was at 10 and they skipped a bunch of us and was working on 11-12 o’clock ppl. so had to wait 2 Extra hours for nothing what’s the point of making an appointment?? then had to wait 11/2 hours for results

I liked that the property was always well kept. When we requested items from the front desk, they brought it right away (toilet paper, water) A few Big shout outs to a few: 1. Faustino, the bartender at the swim up bar 2. Freddy, the concierge- He always made sure we were always good. 3. Clever, the bartender at the main lobby. Service was great that we went to each one of them to give extra tip on our last day.

The bars closed around 11pm. The only other bar that is open until 1a is the one in the club.

Breakfast was delicious. There was a very good variety of different food choices. Even for the health conscience people. We ate at a different restaurant every night and room service was spot on with food and delivery. The staff was very attentive to all of our needs. The rooms were set up nicely and our view of the ocean was beautiful! The lobby was breath taking. The live entertainment was a great touch.

The only thing that I would complain about was that we were not able to sit on the beach. We sat at one of the cabanas on the preferred side near the beach; there was a bad smell but it was off season. I really can't think of anything else.

Love Mexico and love this hotel chain. We usually stay at the Secrets but chose this Dreams as it was far better value. It is a child friendly hotel but we felt as adult only travellers, that there were many areas where you could relax peacefully. Given it is one of the older hotels in the chain, it was beautifully well kept and extremely comfortable. Staff are lovely, friendly and helpful. The spa is fantastic and I would recommend trying the water treatments. A little oasis in the heart of the resort. Loved it!

The food was amazing. I loved that beach, the pool and restaurants were all in walking distance. The customer service was impeccable. At the end of every day, they came to my room to give me fresh towels. The place was very clean. The staff was super friendly. I would definitely stay here again!

Booked 2 rooms and stuck us on 2nd and 5th floor. Major hassle to get resolved. Paid for premium club and very little additional value for additional cost. Food was ok but not great. Bars had limited premium liquor and would not replace when out for the day. Stairs are hazardous. Showers hot and cold. Toilets don't flush. Hot tubs seem to be needing replacement or removal.

The staff was amazing. Very professional, genuinely hospitable and accommodating. The room was very clean and the service from the time we walked in the resort to the time we departed was impeccable. We especially enjoyed pool time, the entertainment and wait staff by the pool were the best by far!! If you're looking for a clean resort with wonderful staff and fun for the family, this is the place. Thank you Dreams Riviera Cancun for a great week!

The food could have been better, not horrible, but it missed the mark more often than not. Most of the time food was cold or lukewarm at best. The best food experience was at the Himitsu Hibachi restaurant (so good) and the breakfast at the World Cafe. The Italian and French restaurants had great dishes as well. Unfortunately, everywhere else to eat was unremarkable or unfulfilling.

Food exceeded my expectations for an all-inclusive resort. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Facilities were well-kept and clean and the resort is breathtakingly beautiful!

There was seaweed on the shore (I know that's not the resort's fault) but did take away from the beauty of the beach a little. And also some of the guests there for wedding celebrations got a little loud, but only during the day and didn't do anything wrong - just wasn't the vibe I was going for. (Although most of the guests seemed to be there for relaxing vacations like me, it was just a few groups who were loud.)
