The staff were excellent- I arrived early & thought I’d have no hope of getting into our rooms, but the staff at reception managed to help me immediately and it was no bother. The reception staff also spoke English eloquently, which was good as I’m embarrassed to say that despite being in Spain every year I still can’t speak the language! The hotel is immaculate- very clean, nicely maintained and modern. I booked 2 rooms - the triple room was very spacious for a city hotel and the beds were very comfortable. There are lots of nice touches e.g. lovely spa-smelling shower gel, a decent tooth brush & toothpaste kit and the usual shower cap, shoe shine etc and there was also tea & coffee with a kettle. Breakfast was absolutely delicious with a great range of food and drinks all of which were nicely presented and there really was something for everyone. It was also quite reasonable given the amount we ate and drank - you’re definitely better to do this than trying to find a restaurant as you’d end up paying more for breakfast and not getting such a lovely variety. It’s only a 10 or 15 minute walk to the start of La Rambla and it was a 10 minute drive to the dock, (it’s very nearby but there’s a lot of traffic) so it suited well for a stroll up La Rambla before taking a cruise ship. The lady on reception called a taxi for us when we were heading to the dock and it all seemed stress free - again she was lovely and nothing was a problem. Sadly I didn’t have time to try the spa, but perhaps next time.

The location is very convenient to the dock, but dock areas in cities are typically fairly industrial so not that pretty. The hotel is perfectly located to access cruise ships, but that means that you need to walk for 10 minutes before you see prettier streets or buildings. This definitely isn’t a criticism of the hotel as it’s in a perfect location for access to the port and La Rambla, but I just want future guests, especially those visiting Barcelona for the first time to know this before they go so that you know what to expect. I’d also recommend a taxi if you’re going to Sagrada Familiale as we tried, but it was a bit of a hike. As for the hotel itself- I loved everything and will definitely return.

Very nice hotel and friendly staff. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel is located 10 minutes away from the metro station and anyway it's very close to Las Ramblas, so it's almost in the heart of the city and it's nice if you like some quietness.

We didn't like so much that the sink was in the room instead of the bathroom, but the size of the room itself couldn't allow any other solution.

the hotel was perfect for our stay. it is in a quiet area but just a short walk from the bus tour and las ramblas. the staff were excellent and couldn’t be more helpful. we went with two young children and they had a great time.

Very close to the port area and La Ramblas but in a quiet part of the city . Super helpful staff . Highly recommend breakfast. Get a welcome drink on your first nice which was a very nice white wine ( usually feee drinks are terrible quality) . We had family room with 4 single beds. The room was clean and spacious . Provided complimentary water bottles in a fridge and coffee and tea facilities . Hairdryer and lovely smelling toiletries provided incl shower gel, body lotion , toothbrush and toothpaste .

property was very nice & clean. rooms are very spacious and the shower is lovely. there’s a lovely smell when you go into the property. it is quiet in the evening so you’ll get a good nights sleep!

the hotel is advertised as a hotel & spa.. as a guest I would assume that as a feature is a pool that guests would have free access to this, however we were told if we wanted to use the pool we would have to pay 18 euro pp. 10 minute walk to las ramblas or around 4 euros in a taxi. the milk in the room was powdered and not fresh.

Breakfast was very good. Staff that we interacted with very friendly and helpful. Room very clean, beds comfy. Adequate towels provided, nice touch with robes and slippers. We are sorry we never got her name, but the dinner waitress was wonderful, give her an increase in pay! She served us on Tuesday August 1 and Wednesday August 2. She was delightful, kind and attentive.

Being from the USA we are not used to rooms being so very warm and the thermostat fixed at 20C, which it never got down to, at the most 25-26C. Not enough tissues provided, bought a box at the little store next door to you. Dinner menu at restaurant needs more variety and be consistent in food prepared/served. Tuesday night had the crispy chicken sandwich, it was great. Wednesday night ordered the same, prepared differently and not as good, didn’t finish the meal.

Friendly reception staff, prompt check-in, very clean rooms and fantastic variety of food available for breakfast. Free welcome drink and chocolates in the room was an unexpected but pleasant surprise. Restaurant and bar staff very polite and friendly. Relaxed atmosphere. Within short walking distance of La ramblas, Marina and also metro station.

Unfortunately on the dates we stayed no spa treatments were available to book which was unfortunate, there only appeared to be access to the pool and sauna area which also seemed a little pricey at 20€ per person for 50 minutes access.

Great room, with coffee making facility and a fridge which was great for keeping bottles of water. Bed lovely and comfy. Bathroom with a shower which was superb. Strange having the sink in the room rather than the bathroom. Location was great just far enough from the Ramblas and the harbourside to walk. Terace was lovely for evening drinks. Would stay again. Staff were brilliant. Very helpful. We had a late flight. They kept our luggage all day and allowed us to freshen up in the spa showers before we left for the airport. Lovely touch. Airport 15 - 20 mins away.

Hotel is in a built up area, there are no views. Terrace overlooked by private residence. Having the wash sink in the bedroom area.

the hot tub wasn’t hot. we did a massage and had to come back for the spa use
