We visit Florence quite often and have stayed in many hotels. This is the best by far. The room was enormous, the bed wonderful, and the location! From our window we looked out at the Bargello, one of the best museums in Florence. We could easily walk everywhere, including some of the finest restaurants in the city. The staff was just as wonderful as the hotel—knowledgeable about the city, friendly, and very helpful. We will always be staying here on our future visits

Beautiful room. The four poster bed and bath with jets was excellent. Every member of staff we met was fantastic, the man who checked us in, the lady who checked us out, but particularly the man cleaning our rooms and Agata who made breakfast more fun! Location is beautiful and very central.

Location is just beautiful but busy and can be noisy very late into the evening. Once people have finished eating at restaurants on the piazza at 12/1am the bin lorries/street cleaners come. There is continuous noise until about 2:30am ish. Breakfast food selection could also be improved, nothing is offered to be cooked fresh such as eggs etc.

Our room was large with a high ceiling in a perfect central location, with excellent restaurants and wine bar within a few steps. The bathroom was large and modern, and although sometimes we had to wait until the water ran hot, this was not an inconvenience. Toiletries and towels all good, effective air conditioning. The hotel staff were very accommodating and friendly. It was great to have access to chilled and carbonated water whenever we wanted, with a small fridge in the room, plus coffee making machine. The WhatsApp communication prior to arrival was good too. We didn't have breakfast at the hotel as there are so many wonderful tiny little coffee and pastries shops nearby. Almost all the art and historical treasures are minutes away and it's an easy 15 minutes walk from the train station. I would stay here again.

It can occasionally be a bit noisy if your room overlooks the piazza - just take earplugs and you'll be fine!

Location is great and central, everything is walking distance to the main attractions. Communication was good and there is a 24/7 whatspapp number which can be called.

We booked the room with spa bath and it was okay. The bath/shower does not have a curtain or glass door so water gets everywhere when taking a normal shower. We used the jacuzzi twice and enjoyed it but one of the time when we turned on the jets, there was dirt and other things coming out which made the whole bath dirty and turned the experience unpleasant. I would say it is not worth it to pay more for the spa bathroom.

The location of the B&B Galileo 2000 is exceptional. Located on a piazza is a privilege when visiting Italy! Being able to look out over the piazza was amazing. We loved being able to step right out and be at any restaurant or shop we wanted in less than 5 min. It was easy to come and go, and we felt lucky to stay so close to everything. If all you need is a place to rest and get changed it is perfect.

As a family of 5, the amount of hot water available was only enough for 1 person so we weren't able to shower more than 1 person before the water was freezing. We knew we needed to get washed very quickly but this was really challenging as it was cold outside as well, so a freezing shower was difficult. Lastly, the breakfast area was right outside our room and the preparations started very early and sounded loud in our room.

Amazing location, lovely view of the piazza from our room, and the room was perfectly equipt for a family of 5. The refills of water were a nice touch, and a coffee machine. Lovely room, beautiful features and helpful staff. I would recommend to anyone going to Florence.

Not the fault of the hotel, but the recommended parking garage was tricky and very stressful. However, it came good in the end, our vehicle is large and the garage struggled to accommodate us, we managed to resolve but it did cause a lot of stress. Beware for anyone who requires a parking space. Also, the city tax was more expensive when we arrived as we had to pay for children over 6 , whereas booking.com advised it would only be adults paying city tax....so it ended up costing double...just another thing to be aware of if you are travelling with children.

The location could not be faulted it was right in the heart of everything you could ever want to see. it was on a lovely old square with 2 or 3 lively bars and restaurants that were nicely busy. Excellent rooms with quirky fixtures and fittings which really suited the old style atmosphere of the hotel. Breakfast had all you needed with lots of choice and good tea and coffee machines. Staff were on hand to clear away and help you find things. The receptionist was absolutely great and could not do enough for you. She even stayed past her normal hours to greet us after we had got ourselves a little lost! She gave us a map and marked off the best things to see - all within easy walking distance of the hotel

Little hard to actually see the entrance to hotel. The front door lock was also very loose.

Loved the place. Right next to Leonardo Da Vinci's old home. Ferdinando, the Manager is a great guy. Very friendly, helpful, helped us lug to large suitcases up the initial stairs and did the same for us while checking out too. Helped us with our special meal needs, guided us and overall made us feel at home. The location really cant be any better, in the heart of the town 3 mins walk from the Duomo and other important landmarks

We had a bit of a problem with warm water availability in the washbasins and bathroom in the evenings. Though Ferdinando offered to help us and address the issue, because of the fact that each day we returned late, we did not find it too much of a bother.

I recently stayed at a hotel located in the heart of the tourist area of Florence, and I had a great experience. The hotel's location is fantastic, within walking distance to major attractions like the Uffizi Gallery, Accademia Gallery, Ponte Vecchio, and the Duomo. This made it incredibly convenient to explore the city. The breakfast provided was delicious and had a good variety of options, which was a perfect start to each day. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay and would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Florence.

Generous staff who were warm and attentive. Gave us special accommodation. We switched hotels due to availability. The transfer was seamless. The location is perfect with easy access by taxi. The hotel is older with eclectic furnishings and a cozy breakfast room. There is free filtered water for the room and available at the lobby. Nice people made our final stay in Florence better. Easy walk to train station and other attractions. There is a great sculpture museum on the square.

Nothing.
