the location was good. it was clean & had what we needed

disappointed that we upgraded to a ‘canal view’ & paid a little more than our original reservation for it, but there was no canal view. also wish we would have been contacted more than a few hours before arrival on WhatsApp regarding arrival instructions as we did not have phone service & check in was a bit mixed up.

A clean and comfortable stay away from the crowds in Venice. We were able to walk from the train station, with a few stepped bridges crossing canals along the way. Access to Iris C4 was straightforward thanks to locked key box and video instructions. Good sized bathroom with washing machine and drying rack. Very well equipped kitchen, though a small kettle to boil water would have been useful.

Beds were a bit firmer than we prefer, and creaked when turning over. Unfortunately we could not get the wifi for the apartment to work, and could only access the central wifi for the whole aparment complex in the second bedroom. This was a nuisance even though we were out a lot.

Very clear instructions on how to enter the apartment, deal with the key box etc. via video. Staff dealt with an item I had forgotten and cooperated for its return via courier. Attractive and modern apartment.

It would be more guest friendly if there were a few basic items in the kitchen such as dish detergent, perhaps some sugar, coffee, extra trash bags, paper towels or napkins. Things that future guests could also use given that these items are sold in standard sizes which no short term guest will use completely. However, I was happy to see that the supply of toilet paper was abundant! This is definitely more crucial than dish detergent!

sparkling clean, lovely simple furniture and decor, beautiful views over the roofs of Venice - also loved the local area - peaceful but great bars and restaurants close by!

the comms for check in and check out are slightly impersonal and a little bit utilitarian - also we arrived after a long and hot journey pulling a heavy case, so a bottle of water in the fridge and some milk for the coffee that was there would’ve be amazing! A small touch that would mean a lot, especially when you’re paying a hefty nightly charge :-)

Great location. 12 minute walk from the train station, yet away from the most touristy sites, in a quiet, comfy neighborhood. There is a large grocery store nearby, and the water bus stop is only a 5 minute walk. There are some nice restaurants within 5-10 minutes walking distance, which felt less touristy than a typical spot in Venice. The apartment is in a new, modern building with an elevator. The facilities were great, and the presence of a dishwasher and a washing machine was really helpful. The kitchen was well stocked, although including paper towels would have been helpful. Management was helpful and easy to communicate with, and they provided luggage storing options after checkout.

Wi-fi was pretty bad: it kept dropping, and even when on, data speed was really slow. The listing photos show a roof deck, which is NOT part of this apartment (you have to be in an other rental in the same building to get access to the deck), so we felt mislead.

Great location, walking distance to most tourist spots and great restaurants.

No secure storage to place luggage once checking out in order to carry on with the day and collect bags at the end before departure to the airport, would recommend a unique key code type system similar to the front gate or key box in order for guests to securely leave their bags just like a hotel.

Apartment was beautiful to start with. The location was very nice and it had a quiet neighborhood. It had AC available in both floors and everything else was nice, clean and comfortable. In pictures the apartment seemed bigger and more spacious, but it was fine for 4 people.

We did send some questions to the owners, but the response time from their end delayed for a day (and we were only there for 3 days, so). But otherwise it was okay.

Just enough removed from the city center to get that peace and quiet after a long day of walking around in the crowds and heat -- a true oasis! Venice is not that big, so having to walk a little farther out was not so bad. The apartment was spacious and comfortable for four people, and the price was excellent for the high season. We did not use the kitchen much but everything seemed clean and complete. Check-in process was easy and clear. A great value for a short stay in Venice.

The bedrooms themselves don't have air conditioning so we left the bedroom doors open for the cool air to come through from the hallway. Unfortunately, this meant that we could hear the noises from the bathroom pipes throughout the night. The shower/tub with the glass door requires a pull on the hose to activate water to the shower head (this is not immediately clear from the setup as there is no valve). The other shower/tub doesn't have any door or curtain. Wifi signal is weak in most areas of the apartment.

Venice is a fabulous place to visit - a Must See! Beautiful newly renovated apartment in the Cannaregio area, complete with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Lively and trendy area close to many restaurants and cafés. Host was very responsive and accommodating before and during our stay. Recommend taking the ferry from the train station as the walk spans many stairs and bridges - not an easy trek with luggage. About a 30-minute walk to St Marks square. Highly recommend having a cornetto (croissant) with pistachio cream at Torrefazione Cafe - absolutely delicious and best I had in Italy.

The apartment was spacious and equipped with all the amenities and security gate. Reaching it with water taxi was easy, and its location was excellent. Close to restaurants and a supermarket only five to ten minutes walk. Sumia and Valentina provided great help and support during our stay.

With no ceiling soundproof, you can hear the noise coming from the upper apartment.
