Upgraded to a canal view room Room very spacious for a family Bed and facilities great

Great hotel but extremely disappointed with the service on check in we asked for a water taxi to be booked this morning for 9.15am as we had a train at 9.56am This morning when we asked about the water taxi at check out we were told just wait at the door. At 9.20 the man made a call and said the taxi had been caught in traffic At 9.25 he made a call and he was told there was no booking for 9.15 only 10.15 So he directed us to the water bus We arrived at the train station as the train was pulling away. The staff not booking us a water taxi as requested has cost us another €152 and we had to wait 5hrs for the next train If we had of been told the first time there was no booking we would have made the train. Don’t trust the staff to help you just book things yourself

Very clean, large room, very friendly and helpful staff. Quiet area.

For those visiting Venice for the first time, they should be told how to get to the hotel. I arrived around midnight, the taxi driver stopped me at the city centre and said I had to walk the rest. It was a nightmare finding my way to the hotel. Eventually arrived at 12.30am.

Rooms were much larger than we expected, and beds were very comfortable. Air conditioning worked well and you can not hear into other rooms. Breakfast was very tasty and well done, restocked and appealing. Giorgia was working at the desk both nights and I listened as she handled a paperwork mistake that came through Booking for us (and solved), and 3 other guests who had issues of varying sorts. I haven't traveled extensively but Giorgia was the best hotel host I've watched work. She was kind, attentive, willing to offer solutions. She never got ruffled even when the guests were, and when the problem was not created by the hotel. When another guest and I were returning, Giorgia must have just gotten off work, and a street or two away in the dark, she greeted us as we walked past. 10 stars for Giorgia. We LOVED our stay here.

Some people might like to be closer to the center of things in Venice. We actually liked walking back to the hotel through real neighborhoods with regular Venetians going to their homes and shops.

The facility is sparse but nice. The location is excellent for my taste, as it is out of the noise and crowding of the city center but walking distance to it. The next parallel channel towards the center is a single bridge away has already many nice bars and cafes. Reaching St. Mark by foot is about 25 minutes and it's a nice trip. The hotel is easy to reach with the airport ferry which leaves you about 10m walk away, and the same goes if you want to take the "vaporetto" to the center instead of walking.. The room was spacious with a lovely view on the channel. There was some noise the first couple hrs we were there (probably ongoing renovations) but it quieted down and it was perfect afterwards. The service was very pleasant - we arrived early so left our luggage at the facility and came back around 14:00 to enter the room. There's a lovely garden outside but in the days we were staying it was not used for breakfast, it would have made a much nicer setting.

The furniture begins to bear the signs of time with scratches and little damaged sections - while not terrible, it lowers the overall feeling of the room. Especially the bathroom, with separate bathtub and restroom are bare-bones and could do with a bit nicer light than the neon light in the latter. It left the feeling of the hotel being a bit overpriced for the quality of the room, but then it's Venice and not cheap anyways. The breakfast room is quite dark and breakfast is really not worth it if you're in for an "italian" one - there's a lovely cafe' at 50mt over the bridge, that opens at 9:30 and you can have croissant and cappuccino in an amazing setting for a third of the price.

The Hotel was at the end of the island which we did not realise, could be reached using the water taxi. The water taxi station is quite near and connected to the centre. The rooms were big with regular four star facilities. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Though the toilet facilities were good, the bathroom was a bit crammed and was difficult to shower. The water leaks a lot out of the glass protection once taking shower. That needs to be fixed. The beds are a bit too soft to my liking. we woke up with a bit of a pain in the back.

Great location for our needs, including very near to a supermarket. Staff were all, without exception, extremely friendly and helpful. We were also able to order a water taxi literally from the back door of the lobby straight to the airport, which while more expensive was hugely preferable to dragging all our luggage to the station.

While the structure of the rooms (we had suites) was very promising, with split level and lots of exposed wood, the rooms suffered from a bewildering lack of lights - it was very hard to see in there, particularly at night time - and also very few power points - only one on one side of the bed, and none by the desk, for example. The couch and other furnishings, while perfectly adequate, could probably do with being renewed.

Plenty of choice for breakfast. Far away from chaos. Since this is a monastery in the past, no wonder you can sleep without hearing voices from the surroundings. Well as a 1st timer in Venice this is a good place to stay, near in San Marco Parking lot and near in Train Station. If you love to walk a lot I will recommend this hotel since Walking is the best exercise while seeing the views of Venice step by step going to the piazza di San Marco. But if you don't like to walk, you can hire a taxi boat from the hotel going directly to San Marco Square or somewhere you want. Special thanks to the receptionist Michele and Giusy and the barista. They did very well their job. In fairness as what I have observed they are attentive of your complaints like for example that we reported that there was a big flies in our room and when we return at night we didn't see it anymore.

The 1st morning of our stay the cleaning personnel knock our door. I would like to say that the hotel management must look about this, cleaning personnel must check what exact time the guests made the check in because not all guests did checked In early ...for us we arrived late at night. 2nd the staff during our 1st morning breakfast somewhat rude, speaking to her our hotel room but she didn't heard it very well and responded " it's not possible, we don't have that room number here", 🤔 I don't know if she only tired that moment or what. In addition there is no shower cap in the shower room, just bring your own.

Very nice hotel in a quiet residential area. Friendly staff and good breakfast. I did get soy milk for my müsli too after asking for it. The room was big and everything was clean. We had a great view on the canal.

Like in too many hotels the noise "travels" - so we always woke up when the neighbors came home late. Earplugs does help though. They had a refreshment point with lemon water at the reception but sadly only offering single use plastic cups. In times of too much plastic waste worldwide and comparing the price of the hotel I would have loved to see reusable cups here. I did use my reusable bottle though.

The hotel was perfect. Clean and modern. Good breakfast options and accessible entrance. Even the road to it is accessible from the fairy (maybe the only bridge in Venice that's accessible for wheelchair and stroller) The staff were friendly and welcoming, suggested some good places to visit. The room was big and suitable for a family (duplex room with 2 floors). It had a very friendly bar as well.

The walls needed better sound insulation. We could hear what was happening in the adjacent room, and sometimes it was inappropriate for kids. Other than that, the location is reachable by boat, but it was a bit far from the city center.

Beautiful hotel, immaculate, very helpful staff, lovely American buffet breakfast daily at a reasonable cost, the family suite was efficient and comfortable for 5 of us, lovely location, beautiful courtyard in a lovely quiet neighborhood.

Bathtub with shower inside had very high sides and was dangerous to get in and out for older folks. A shower seat might be helpful but entering and exiting a high side tub is difficult to impossible for seniors!
