The location is the best. You are a few yards away from Seaport Village, which is a must for some quick food or an evening walk. Walking distance to the Navy Ship, Gaslamp district, convention center and Petco Park.

Parking...The first time we stayed, we valeted our vehicle, which was convenient, but we had our vehicle damaged, possibly from being parked in the tight garage. This time, we decided to self park. The parking garage is space out for tiny vehicles. Most vehicles that are parked are oversized (norma sized vehicles), that are double parked. Even if you are parked within the lines, you will hit the vehicle close to you, when you open the door. We had selfed parked for the first 2 nights, then decided to valet, because it was difficult to find parking spots. Also, the valet staff, at times, are not available-especially late nite returns. The Elevator on the Harbor Side, gets pretty busy in the evenings.

The room, the view, the bed, all good. We received complementary tickets for a cruise around the harbour which was very nice.

Parking is very expansive $40 / day. We booked cheaper parking around the hotel and walked to the hotel. We booked without breakfast as this was very expansive as well (I think was about $30/ day / person). I didn't like the way I booked the room online and it said a certain price and I paid $70 more on taxes and some other fees. Too many hidden costs. As well the hotel takes $75 some sort of deposit. Not ok. Air con was loud, so we turned it off and open the window but it can be laud nights with the window open.

The Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was good, nothing amazing - but enough space and design and layout are relatively modern. The housekeeping was a bit of a mystery however. They would make the beds and bring fresh towels but that was about it. After 4 days we asked the reception why our room has not been actually cleaned (vacuumed, dusted, etc...) we were informed they only do this when asked to.... strange. So we asked to have our room cleaned every day and for the sheets to be changed as we were staying for over a week..... This was partially done and we assume they were just short staffed..... The breakfast buffet was great! Not only very fresh and a large variety of foods, the service was attentive, friendly and quick. Downtown San Diego is not what it used to be, but this hotel is right off of Seaport Village and easy to drive to other areas from.....

House Keeping, Price of parking!!!!

The breakfast was out of this world delicious with magnificent variety. The two breakfast hostesses I dealt with were exceptionally nice & helpful. Every employee I encountered were extremely kind & helpful.

Porrtions at Sally's were too small.

The fact that we walked for an hour to locate the advertised bike rental and nowhere to be found.

1) including breakfast was really great! The best thing in this hotel! Great stuff in the restaurant! 2) great clean service in room. 3) fast check-in and check-out. 4) great location 5) big hotel 6) good territory for children: basketball, ping pong. 7) great gym!

1) small 2 Quinn bed room and small bathroom. 2) why the bathroom don’t have any lock? That’s crazy. Impossible to hang on anywhere a towels in the bathroom. 3) small and not deep swimming pool. 4) the hotel have only one pool, the second one is closed. 5) movies on the air terrace not for free and only 21+. 6) parking was dirty and odor on 2 floor was awful. 45$ per night for self and busy parking.

The hotel was very clean and overall amazing. I made a call to the front desk right after checking in and the lady I spoke to was pretty rude. I mentioned this to the gentleman who had originally checked us in (Vincent or Victor, my apologies for not remembering) and he more than rectified the situation. No other hiccups, and I would still 100% recommend this hotel. The surrounding area felt incredibly safe, every staff interaction other than the phone call was welcoming, kind, and pleasant. Every request was quickly granted. Can't wait to plan our next trip to San Diego and stay at this hotel again.

The pillows on the king size bed were oddly small and really squishy. I definitely would have preferred a larger and firmer pillow.

Last year we had a view of the bay (awesome). This time we had a city view, but we still could see the bay (again awesome). Seaport village is a 5 minute walk. The aircraft carrier museum "The Midway" is about a 10 minute walk, and the Embarcadero is right there also. The pool is nice, also the hot tubs. Oh yeah, high fives for the valet team. Awesome people. Don't forget to tip these guys, they do an excellent job.

I like a good variety of food for room service. I did order a sandwich, with a salad which was very good. But no orders between 11am - 5pm. I also like the room service to be available late at night after a few drinks.

Location of the hotel was perfect. I participated in a bike ride and the convenience, the food and the bed were perfect to get me ready for the ride.
