This hotel is very well located for exploring Austin. We walked to Congress Avenue bridge to see the bats along the river, which was a lovely way to start the evening - it only took about 20 minutes, and is a well-used and nicely maintained stretch. Although our room faced the road, it was so high up in the building that we could not hear it. It was great to have parking on site.

Some of the facilities are a bit older, with cracks in the bath. We were also in the room closest to the ice machine in the corridor outside, which was very loud.

Room was little old, but everything was working ok. Car parking is 10/10 and it is free. It is not in "downtown", but 10 min walk and you are there. Cleaner lady was great and helpful, room was clean. Breakfast was very good (14,95+tax). Pool was nice.

Room AC-system was noisy and it was not new. Rooms are old and the waterperssure in the shower was very mild. Reception people smiles, but they look they are tired. Breakfast was very good, but it cost 14,95+tax/person. Meaby they should make small renovation (rooms, hall ways, pool).

Great location (7 min walk to Rainey St and lovely walk along the lake into the city centre). The staff were excellent, knowledgeable and friendly. The beds were really comfy and the rooms had a refrigerator and microwave which was super useful as we were visiting Austin with our baby.

What I like the most was how friendly, helpful and professional the personnel were, including everyone, people at the front desk, at the lounge (breakfast time and at the bar) and the driver of the shuttle to the airport. And the location, you can enjoy a walk along the river side with amazing views and it's about 30 minutes walking from downtown, Congress Street and the Capitol, near SoCo (an UBER ride will cost you around $9), and near a lively area to dine out and enjoy night life.

Everything was perfect, although my room didn't face the riverviews 😔.

Free parking close to downtown was the best part of it. The hotel was close enough to where we wanted to be, that it could be reached by a 25min walk or quickly by using the electric scooters. So at the end we didn't have to use much of our car.

Price was a bit high for a 2 night on a average size hotel without breakfast or other amenity included, only free parking. Bathroom door made some noises on the hinges and there was little lighting in the room, so overall it was a good room but needed some maintenance/care.

The staff at this hotel couldn't have been more lovely and helpful. Concierge, restaurant staff and housekeeping were all very attentive.

Recommened you replace shower curtains with shower screens, the curtains give a damp odour and easy for water to spill onto the floor.

I booked the Holiday Inn a week before arriving in Austin. And as I was checking in your employee told me a slimmer with bleached hair he didn't have my booking I should call Booking.com he always has problems with Booking.com. This employee does not belong to a hotel reception, I can tell you. I then Googled a Booking.com phone number which turned out to be a fraudulent number and almost $3,500 was stolen from my account. And suddenly a lady from the reception came and had my booking. Something's wrong. But I have already reported everything to the police. Other than that I have no complaints about the Holiday Inn, the rooms are clean and the breakfast was excellent and the staff, except for one from the reception, was friendly.

This was our FAVORITE hotel during our road trip. Clean, comfy beds. Loved the pillows! Stunning view from the top floor room #1408. Staff was friendly and efficient.

Not the hotel's fault, but some guest smoked pot in the elevator and stinked it up. The hotel is 100% smoke-free. The staff was quick to clean the elevator.

First of all, the check in was one of the fastest I have ever done in my entire life. I have traveled to several cities and this is the #1 ever. One of your receptionist (I don't remember his name but he is a tall white guy, with an European look) was extremely polite and courteous. He explained everything to us, without even ask, about the parking, the room service, and everything about our stay. The bed was one the most comfortable beds in any hotel, I have been at Club Quarters in New York, Hampton in Houston, Hilton in Monterrey, Mexico, Hyatt at San Antonio, but your specific hotel exceeded my expectations. Thank you very much for treating us like this. Keep the hard work, guys.

We loved everything.

I lived the location right on the river so I got to wake up to that every morning. we had a water pressure issue our first day, we told the front desk and they had it fixed by the time we came back from dinner. They were extremely nice I can’t remember the gentleman’s name on the evening shift but he was the one I talked to the most and he made me feel at home the entire stay.

the parking garage was a little tight, but that is understandable just something I didn’t too much care for
