Sotetsu Fresa Inn Nagoya Sakuradoriguchi

Very close to Meitetsu train and bus station. Walkable to subway and JR trains as well. Room were small, as expected in Japan but it was still great. Check in and check out was a breeze. You can opt for full room cleaning or just a towel change. 2 pillows were provided. Microwave, ice maker, vending machine and washing machine were located on the second floor. You can even view from your room's tv if the washing machine is available or is in use. Also, you can see the remaining time before it is available. Flat and curling iron were also available BUT is subject for availability. So, on the safer side, I suggest you just bring your own. Amenities were provided at the ground floor like sun screen, face lotion, face milk, cleansing oil, toothbrush, razor, coffee and tea. There is a weighing scale at the ground floor to check the weight of your luggage before heading to the airport. You can also leave your luggage there. Mr. Donut is located at the ground floor and delicious unagi is a few steps away. A Chinese food, ramen house were also within the area. Family mart and 7/11 is just around the corner. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

The location of the hotel is located just across the road and a few meters away on a straight road from Meitetsu Nagoya station's central gates. Hence, it is very easy to get to and from Centrair Airport. The receptionists cannot speak English, but thanks to Japanese hospitality, they always go to arms and legs to help in any way possible.

They only accept machine check-in and out, which is okay, but I found it strange that they do not accept cash payments from the machines. The lobby area is relatively small, and guests' luggage being temporarily stored there can be challenging to move around to reach the elevators. Furthermore, the rooms are pretty small, comparable to hotels in Tokyo. I have stayed at other hotels in Nagoya with more spacious rooms and bathrooms. The cleanliness of the rooms is a bit questionable, as I found long women's hair on the bed when I first arrived. Cleaning is on demand, which is fine. However, the breakfast provided by Mister Donut in the same building is the worst thing about the hotel. They only served donuts and pastries, which was quite disappointing.

Location is great. 5 mins walk to the train station. Lots of good restaurants around. It’s slightly more spacious than the usual Japan hotel rooms but it will still be tight if you have more than one suitcase.The room itself is well laid out and comfortable. It’s very clean and there are many amenities to choose from in the lobby. Quiet

Check in and check out is done out of a machine. I don’t know why this is an improvement. I was early and had to leave my luggage at the lobby. The machine didn’t recognise my credit card so the staff had to manually check me in anyway. No public bath which would have been so nice for the night before departure Both aren’t big issues though and I would stay again

good location - near Nagoya main staion by walk in 5 minutes full facilities and amenities a lot of local restaurants and convenients stores near hotel matress, pillow and blanket are comfy clean for all hotel areas

for daily room cleaning, there are two choices for selection: "full cleaning" or "change towels only". no collecting trash service. i have to collect trash and give it to reception. if the hotel give customers more choice like "eco-cleaning" for trash collecting, it will be great.

Excellent location just around the corner from Nagoya station. There is a Mister Donut in front of the hotel and there are many convenience stores, restaurants and other shops nearby. We got interconnecting rooms for our family of four. We were able to store our luggage at reception before checkin and after checkout. Beds were comfortable.

The rooms and beds were a little smaller than expected, and there was not much space to lay out our luggage. There was a wet patch on the carpet in one room. The front desk staff were professional but not quite as friendly as some other places we have visited in Japan.

The hotel was great, though the rooms were a little smaller than expected. As always the bathrooms were good with excellent hot water and a great bath. The location was outstanding - extremely close to the station. The breakfast was not quite what we expected - donuts and pastries from the adjoining Mr Donut franchise but the kids loved it and it was fine for a few days. The staff were very helpful in storing luggage for the day and in helping me with sending a package. If you are forwarding luggage here be aware it needs to arrive on the day of check in. They won’t keep luggage overnight.

There were only 3 washing machines for the whole hotel. It was very difficult to get washing done so be sure to start it early in the evening before many people arrive.

The location was great - it was a few minutes walk from the station and accessible to everything (except for coin laundry), including some amazing restaurants. The cleanliness was always at a high standard and they have an amenities corner which provide literally everything you need and more. The staff were understanding of your situation and went above and beyond. They actually ended up checking us in early, even though we were there 20 mins before checking in time. Any issue we had was always quickly resolved by the staff, which made our trip extra comfortable.

Beds were a bit hard. The area itself was a bit fishy, people were always smoking outside buildings and the arcade nearby was very noisy (but could not be heard from the room). As mentioned before, the coin laundry was really far away and the one at the hotel was often busy.

The location was amazing, really close to Nagoya Station and the hotel itself was clean. The free ammenities had a wide range of options and the laundry room was perfect to relax while waiting for your laundry to get washed. The staff was helpful and happy to help us!

As occidental, I felt a little too packed in the room. I understand this might not be related to the hotel itself, but it was hard for 2 people to move around the room with the luggage and all that. The room was smaller than expected.

Location, location, location. Fantastic. The rooms were excellent, clean, and the staff was among the most professional I've ever encountered in many years of international travel.

The only downfall for this property is the restaurant which they use for their breakfast. Donuts and coffee aren't my idea of a good hotel breakfast. Had I known that we'd be eating at Mister Donut, I'd have chosen another property. (but this is the ONLY issue I had with an otherwise excellent stay).

Location, easy access to public transport. Rooms were good, refreshments had to be collected from the reception area. Staff were very helpful, printing a document for me to celebrate my 1000th Roller Coaster at Nagashima Spa Land. Rooms were good.

No English tea. The breakfast was a set couple of items with 1 drink at Mister Donut. Not as good as the hotel in Tokyo.
