nice room for a family of four. great lobby, very friendly staff

room was very dusty, clothes turned dusty after a few minutes in the room. please clean more than bathroom only. (see pictures); breakfast options too complicated, we prefer a simple buffet without a menu.

Beautiful and modern hotel, helpful staff who speak good English and huge rooms with all modern comforts, ours even had a sofa! Especially loved the relaxing extras such as heat eye masks and cooling pads for legs - after all day walking it was a really nice touch. The hotel is within walking distance to Nagoya Station and one of the metro stations as well.

Our room was a little bit noisy, sounded like constant low-frequency wind but I’m not sure if it was in fact wind as the noise was there 100% of the time. It wasn’t bothering us during our awake time but I opted to use ear plugs during the night which solved the problem completely.

The hotel is well-situated and close to public transport, but you can walk (within 2km) to a good number of places in Nagoya that are of interest during your stay. The hotel's interior is vibrant and has a great design touch. The staff is very friendly and helpful, they make your stay very easy. The rooms are good, comfortable, clean and have all the amenities that one expects in a hotel room. The breakfast provides a good selection to choose from, the coffee is great and the ambience is very nice.

There wasn't anything we did not like. If we have to provide a point of critique it would have to be around capacity planning and organisation of the breakfast area. If there are too many people the staff has difficulties in keeping up with service and replenishment of the buffet, but if you ask a staff member for something it gets done with a smile. So, in our experience this is a minor point.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, one of the staff could speak Chinese. My mom fell down at the station, so we asked for some ice cubes, she gave us some plastic bags to put the ice cubes in from the ice machine. There was a restaurant and bar on the first floor, and the interior design was amazing. The room was tidy, cozy, and with many useful facilities. We asked the staff to help book us a taxi for the next morning, he even came out to help us carry our luggage on to the taxi, and saw us off. Would definitely stay here again when I visit Nagoya next time.

Room for 3 people might be a bit small if you prefer larger room size, because they add an extra bed in a 2 two people room, I would recommend to book a room for 4 people instead.

It was a perfect stay. The hotel staff were amazing from the second we walked in the door. Many of them know English and are happy to help you in English. The hotel is modern and amazing. From the outside it looks like a hotel but inside it comes alive. The rooms are amazing. The staff is amazing. The entire thing is amazing. I didn't want to leave Nagoya because of this hotel.

There are no downsides to the hotel, the only issue was we had to checkout and leave. I would have loved to stay longer.

Nice bathrooms separate from the toilet, big rooms, clever design with the sliding door between the washing/sleeping area, big TV that is BYO-device friendly, took our pre-delivered luggage to the room. With comfy beds and thick curtains, we slept very well. Fast WiFi and a nice lounge that seems to be work-friendly. Tons of Izakayas in the neighborhood, although the majority of options are still around the station if you are not out for a drink. The front desk staff speaks good English. If you visit Japan for the first time and worry about the language barrier, this is an ideal first/last stop.

The location isn't great if you didn't pack light. A bit far from the stations but still a short enough ride that visibly disappointed our taxi driver when we arrived (he was still acting professional so all good). It isn't close to any of the underground streets either, and Nagoya is known for a lot of rainy and hot days. Would be nice if the hotel had a shuttle service or an undercover driveway for taxis (people who arrived when Typhoon Mawar hit must have struggled). Another thing that may or may not be a con depending on your preference - this hotel doesn't have a public bath. It's closer to a European 4* experience (a pretty good one) than traditional, and people who booked when looking at the word "Nikko" might get the wrong expectations.

Very pleasant hotel in downtown Nagano. Good security with key card access. Our premier King room was sizable. Bed comfortable. Bathroom with shower outside of tub, something I just don’t get. But it worked well, with good water pressure. Hotel is modern. Staff very helpful, and seemed to universally speak English. Room was quiet, with no squeaky doors. Limited storage for clothes. Lighting in bathroom/sink/makeup area was acceptable, but room lighting not good for reading at night. Wifi strong. Huge smart TV with Netflix and Amazon Prime (bring your own account); couldn’t find English TV, despite satellite channels. Central ducted air conditioning worked well; whisper quiet. Good, but not exceptional breakfast included in rate. Overall, a good experience, and we’d return. Hint: The Nagano rail station is big and confusing. Best to take taxi to hotel, or if using carry-on, take subway to Kokusai Center rather than negotiate surface streets.

Nothing worth mentioning...

The breakfast was lovely, we didn't have the Japanese breakfast as we came down late but the western style breakfast which was delicious. There was also lots of choice from the continental section (the tiny pastries where delightful). The room was spectacular and well worth the money. They'd thought of almost everything we could need and it was extremely spacious. The staff where very friendly and spoke good English, which given our very limited Japanese we where very grateful for. We only stayed for one night but the morning we woke up it was rainy and for those staying they had umbrellas that could be rented. This might be quite common but it was the first time we saw it advertised. It is a little bit of a walk from the station, so bare that in mind, but it isn't too long. There's also lots of small restaurants in the vicinity which is very handy.

Honestly nothing, we loved this hotel.

Nikko Style is relatively new with well equipped room facilities. Room was stylishly decorated with accoustic speakers that could be used with bluetooth connection. The room was comfortable for 3 to stay in.

While the overall cleanliness was good, there was dust on surfaces which triggered my son's allergy reactions. The location of the hotel is about 10 -12 minutes walk from Nagoya station which is manageable for us as we only had a cabin size luggage to handle. However, it would be quite a challenging walk if we had to lug the full load of luggage of 3 big sized luggage to walk that distance.
