Great location, with a shuttle bus to the terminal. Large room with fridge, free wifi and very comfortable beds. The decor is a bit tired, but the room was very clean

No restaurant or bar if you wanted to spend some time here. The corridors and rooms all look a bit tired, but it is a perfectly good hotel for an overnight stay at an airport

The room was super spacious. It had many useful things like a small fridge, a deep bathtub and some things I didn't stay long enough to enjoy. There were a solid amount of vending machines available. The style of the room was very 1970's which could be hit-or-miss depending on personal taste. I found it charming. Staff were helpful and checking in/out was efficient and I feel like the quality matches the price.

The style of the room, while charming, also felt less like a choice and more like it hadn't been updated very much since the 1970's (not really a problem but maybe felt a little too lived-in). I wish the alcohol vending machine on the 6th floor had some sweet/fruity options as well. I felt like I waited forever for the shuttle from the airport but I appreciate that there was one. I would stay here again if I was stuck with another early morning flight or if I landed in Narita late in the evening.

The hotel is less than a five minute walk away from Narita Terminal 1. It was perfect for me: I walked from the terminal to the hotel to drop my things, walked back to the terminal to meet some friends who live in Tokio, walked back, had a good sleep (after bathing in the great bathtub provided!), and walked back after checking out for my next flight. The hotel does offer a shuttle service, but I found no reason to wait for it!

The hotel lobby is too small to sit and meet with other people (that's the main reason I walked to and forth to the terminal). The carpets and other fixtures in the room look a bit old and give a bad first impression.

Convenient to both Narita terminals, walkable if you want to, but there is a regular shuttle between both terminals and the hotel. We were able to leave our luggage after checkout and come back for it closer to our late afternoon flight time. Friendly staff, clean room and standard Japanese bathroom. We took the train back to Narita (city) for dinner. It's got a kind of Motel 6 feel, if it's your first night in a Japanese hotel, it's not typical of what you'll find elsewhere.

Description of location of hotel led us to think it is in Narita, but it is actually ON Narita (Airport is huge). Nowhere local to eat except in one of the terminals (we found a place called N's Court that was very good for breakfast and lunch).

The perfect hotel for a one-night stay near Narita Terminal 1. The room does need an upgrade since everything is old, but everything was clean and the room was very spacious. There was no mold and, in May, the AC was able to cool up the room well enough. I asked the front desk how to access the airport via walking and it's so close! When you turn right after exiting the hotel, take the first road you see to your right (not near the traffic light!) and you'll reach the terminal in roughly 5 minutes. If you have large luggage, there's a shuttle bus (see website for more info). The staff was friendly and spoke English well. Will stay here again.

The location was excellent! There was a free shuttle bus ride to and from the airport (Terminal 1 + 2). The beds were comfortable enough and the room was clean. We liked how spacious the twin bedroom was! Complimentary amenities were available at the front desk and the vending machines in front of the elevator were a pretty good substitute for a kombini! It was great for an overnight stay, before we caught another flight.

Not much we can do about it, but since it's an older building the sound proofing seemed to be weak. We could hear neighbours and some people chatting as they walked down the hallway.

Needed a hotel for a night to stay in while waiting for another flight the next morning and Narita Rest House was perfect for this. The rooms and hotel itself are quite dated, like a throw back to decades ago. There's signs of wear and tear and the amenities are what you might expect because of that, with some upgrades. However despite the age of the room and hotel, they are kept clean which is all I wanted. For an overnight stay it's good for what it is. There's a regular airport shuttle to take you to the terminals nearby too.

Old style rooms and old furnishings

I wouldn’t disagree with any favourable comments but if you’re travelling on business and arrive in the evening there are failings

If you arrive at Narita in any terminal other than 1 you have to take the bus to the hotel and catching it is confusing if you don’t know the language. There was no food available at the hotel in the evening only from machines which only take local currency- so if you’ve just arrived after a very long haul flight you’ll go to bed hungry. Eat at the airport before getting on the hotel bus

Efficient check-in, literally 5 minutes walk from Terminal 1 and good shuttle service to Terminals 2 & 3. The buffet breakfast was excellent value, coffee very good. I can recommend the Airport Gozen for dinner despite sounding unexciting in English, delicious dishes of soup, salmon, mackerel, pork and rice. You can take the Skyliner from Terminal 1 to Ueno Square in just over an hour. Perfect airport hotel.

It was a single bed room but the room probably used to be a twin bed room. So there was a plenty of room at the side of the bed and I felt like I got upgraded. The property was pretty old, but it was clean (except for a little stain on a fabric chair), and I was very comfortable in the room. It was a short, one-night stay between flights, but I could stay there for a couple more days.

Not much to complain. The room was pretty old, but as long as it's clean and mold free, I don't mind.
