The pillows were a kind of 'health' pillow . They were VERY hard and had some kind of grain in them. I couldn't use them & had to use a folded towel instead

1. The hotel lobby has FamilyMart store. 2. The room is quite packed. A comfortable stay while waiting for your flight the next day. 3. Free shuttle bus to the airport but needs to book during check in. Better come check in early to avoid the time slot that you want fully booked.

The distance from airport is quite far. We had to take taxi as it was windy & cold that night with heavy luggages. The receptionist couldnt speak english really well. He asked me to fill in the shuttle bus booking form online in Japanese which obviously i couldnt read (dont even try to help even if i asked him) and he even charged my card with the wrong amount (case closed). Luckily another receptionist helped us to book the shuttle bus. The elevator is quite creepy.

So close to Narita airport and the free shuttle bus service is fantastic . Check in was so easy. The room was small but spacious enough for our bags etc. The bathroom was clean and had everything we needed. There is a shopping centre within a five minute walk, as well as a couple of restaurant options. The AC was colder and the WiFi was fast. It is only 15 minute walk to Narita train station, and to anywhere else you need to go. Definitely recommend Hedistar for your first or last night in Japan for its convenient location to the airport.

It’s not as close to the station as other places I’ve stayed at in Narita. I walked from JR station in about 15 minutes. It would take less if you knew for sure where you were going and didn’t have baggage. I had a backpack, and I’m a walker, so no problem, but it might feel a bit far if you’re pulling a suitcase or not the walking type. The room was clean and comfortable, typical Japan small, but perhaps a bit larger than the places closer to the station. There’s also a small mall with a supermarket just a few minutes away, which is convenient. I didn’t have time this time, but you could easily walk to Naritasan from here. After checking out, I used the free shuttle to the airport, which was easy and convenient. Overall, very satisfied and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

I chose this place bacause the price was reasonable and there was a free work space area at the lobby. I wanted to work in the room but there was no desk in economy twin room. Just a small table and a small couch. The couch was nice and I was still able to work, but it would have been perfect if the room had a desk and a chair. Other room options night have had those though. I alos enjoyed seeing tiny frogs at lobby as there is a fake waterfall. Too bad it was not working when I visited, but it must have been refleshing to see it working.

I wanted to see the waterfall working, maybe next time.

Location is near Aeon Town. Far to walk from Narita Train Station but a short ride on public bus from bus-stop #2 just outside the station. Free for JR pass holders. Stop at Aeon Town and walk to the back of Volks Steak House. Clean room. Aircon chilled the room very fast. Coin laundry, vending machine, free ice and free amenities/toiletries on lobby floor. Free shuttle to Narita Airport. Will recommend and stay here again.

Was told shuttle to airport 10mins ride but took us 30mins to reach Terminal 1. This is on fixed timing basis and stops at all 3 terminals. Those going to Terminal 1 to ensure have ample time to reach as it is the last stop. Book your timeslot with reception.

The shuttlebus, that I got a toothbrush and some sleeping clothes, the price, there was a tv, a kettle a hairdryer and some other usefull stuff and that the bed was so big.

There was not a really a space where i could open my suitcase and the space around the bed was a little small so you had to squeeze around it. Also I didn't got information on how to bool thr shuttle bus so I had to walk to the hotel. Therefore please include booking of the shuttle bus in the reservation process because I did not get information afterwarfs as it said on the web page.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. There were several restaurants within a short walking distance (5-10 minutes), the AEON mall was nearby and also Naritasan Park (10-15 min walk). Excellent value for the cost, and also an Airport Shuttle service is available to Narita Airport.

The restaurant was not open at times, and there was limited variety of foods. We decided to eat elsewhere. (Cafe Gusto is a 12 minute walk from the hotel).

They had a baskets with things people commonly need rasors, brush, toothbrush. I had forgotten a hairbrush and the problem was easily solved. It is a short walk to the temple grounds and we had a lovely stroll there. ( see picture below) It was for a flight layover, so the shuttle to the flight was great. Affordable simple room but the service and add-ons were uncommon at this price point and very appreciated. Check out was a simple key drop so no lines.

No significant complaints

Beds have medium hardness and there is good space below for suitcases. WLAN is quite speedy (450/300). Konbini and a supermarket are in short walking distance, but many a well-known chain store is much much further out.

Windows are not airtight; diesel fumes from the private airport shuttle bus when it runs idle can get into the room.
