The room was basic but clean and comfortable. The buffet breakfast was good. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful.

The free airport shuttle is mostly only once every hour, so if you just miss one you have a long wait for the next. The hotel is actually quite far from Narita Airport and took approx. 40 minutes to arrive at the hotel.

International Garden Hotel Narita located in a quiet area closed to the central of Narita (Walking distance around 25 minutes). It has a 7 eleven inside the hotel which was convenient even there were less selection of foods due to its size. The mini stop right next to the hotel carry much more variety of foods so you will be fine. The hotel looked nice, the room was spacious and clean. Sadly their jacuzzi wasn't working or else it will be perfect. There's a gym in the hotel which was great for gym people like us who want to sweat a little. Not great but better than none. The best thing of all was that they provide shuttle bus to and from the airport. Big thumb up to the bus driver (excellent customer service)!

Not essential but it would be nice for a big hotel to maintain their gym room regularly. As we can tell, all machine were rusty and dirty. It's really brought down the standard of a big hotel like this.

This was my second time here. I really like everything, location, comfy bed, large room than normal comparing with other hotel in Japan, good cleanliness, shuttle services and room-price was very much worth to pay. Staffs were so kindly and helpful. They gave me a room upon my request throughout my long stay which made me very happy. I’ll be back to stay here again for sure.

Nothing specifically, as my recommendation on my last stay about there were too crowded on the shuttle bus to Narita station and Aeon Mall (no room to be seated as they had to share bus with Hilton’s guests) has been done at least better during rush hours. Thank you!

This hotel is excellent value for money. I initially paid about $A600 for six nights, but was the offered an upgrade for about an extra $30, which then gave me breakfast included every morning and three single beds. The breakfast was lovely and with ample choice. The room was spotlessly clean and with all basic amenities, including a fridge. It was just a pleasant, 20 minute walk into Narita Town but the hotel offers a free shuttle bus service both into town and to the airport. Very pleasant and professional staff. I will definitely stay in the same hotel next time.

Free shuttle from the airport plus there's another shuttle from the hotel to the JR station and Aeon mall. Staff is friendly and conversant in English. Room was clean and spacious. The included buffet breakfast was excellent. Has a 7 Eleven convenience store down at the lobby which is very convenient and great for picking up a meal if you arrived late at night. Another convenience store (Mini Stop) just outside the hotel as well. There's also a Seven Bank ATM at the lobby as well which is awesome as Seven Bank ATMs allows withdrawals of up to Yen100,000.

Hotel and room interior look dated and tired. Although for the price, it's still a steal. Bed and pillows were on the firmer side. The shuttle bus is a shared service with Hilton so at busy hours (eg. in the morning around check out time), the bus is going to be packed. Learned that the hard way as I was trying to squeeze on the bus with my luggage to go to the JR Station. Also there's nothing much of interest near the hotel.

An excellent room that served its purpose well for a quick stay before our flights home. The bed was very comfortable, with clean bathrooms for use. A travel tip: this hotel combines its shuttle bus service with the Hilton Hotel (MUCH more expensive), but in fact, the Garden Hotel as a stop comes before the Hilton. Therefore you get first access to seats and the cargo hold - some passengers at the Hilton missed out on the airport transfer in the morning by the time we arrived to meet them. Shuttle buses aren't common, so well worth the consideration!

Nothing. We were happy with our stay - the rooms were quiet and soundproof. No listening to loud couples next door or even toilets flushing!

I wished we could stay longer in this hotel, unfortunately we arrived late from Tokyo and spent only 1 night. The shuttle bus is provided from/to airport and punctual. They have very helpful staff from the bus driver and counter personnel every shift. They provides 2 yukatas in the room which is a spacious room. Vending machine, ice and water dispensers are nearby the room (I like this so much). Money exchange machine and bag weigher near reception also help if you are worried about excess weight of luggage.. Self laundry is available at lower floor. There were few sakura tree which was blooming behind the hotel which we can see clearly from the room even though it is not yet in the blooming season.

The floor lamp is too dim. But we slept very comfortably.

This is a great option for an early morning flight from Narita. The facilities are good and the personal is really kind. It is not close to the malls, but you can walk for 20 minutes and you will get to the AEON mall. They have a shuttle to and from the airport in really nice buses. The breakfast is simple, but quite good. All personal was really kind and attentive to my needs. They did an amazing job! I would definitely book again with them and stay for longer dates if possible. Thank you for all your kindness and fantastic job! 🤗

There is nothing as of this moment that could be improved. You get an excellent service for a reasonable price. Everything was great!

A great transit hotel for English speaking tourists. We had a very comfortable stay for two nights, with a good breakfast each morning. We spent a day checking out Naritasan Park (highly recommend visiting this beautiful Temple complex) and the Aeon Mall (amazing, we need a new suitcase for the Hello Kitty merch). There is a 7/11 onsite which stocks a lot of good quality food and snacks into such a small space. The staff are very helpful and the hotel room was super clean. It is an older hotel but it has a quirky charm. The International Garden Hotel Narita is very good value for money!

Not a negative but be prepared for the half hour journey from the airport on the free transit bus.

Spacious room, spacious bathroom, clean. This was my third time at the hotel. I had forgotten something during my second stay and I got it back. It had been securely and professionally stored.

Breakfast! I wish I could get chunks of salmon, not flakes. I wish there was roasted mackerel. The juice available is not fresh natural juice. Also, it seems like there's exactly the same menu every day for breakfast, no variation. When I asked for a Spanish omelette, the staff said, "Are you airline staff? No? Then you will have to pay extra for it". I don't like the type of wet egg served at the buffet, I just wanted a Spanish omelette. I don't understand why it has to cost extra. Last time I enjoyed services of the staff, this time they didn't seem so friendly. But all in all, my stay was comfortable.
