Breakfast at 3rd floor(community) was terrible in our view(very asian...), but once upgraded to the 2nd floor it was magnificent! This was due to high influx of Western food options. I am sure asian breakfast lovers appreciates 2nd floor, but we didn't. Overall location is probably the best one available with proximity to the gondola. Perfectly situated.

All staff wearing masks, which is very strange in February 2023, and totally unrelated to safety of course as the world has moved on and it is not governmentally required either(not allowed to regulate), technically very negative perception on my side.

Very well located in Niseko Village. Most staff was very friendly; particularly Merina at the reception counter. She was very nice and helped out a lot. Was very friendly to my kids also.

One staff member wasn’t very pleasant when we asked for some bottles of water and some clean towels, since we didn’t want our room made up that day. She said the hotel only provided water on the first day of the whole stay, which was ridiculous given we booked for 7 nights. Think her name was Chang. That was the only think that makes me not give full stars for staff.

King Panorama room had amazing views, the most spacious room we have ever had in a ski resort. Husband loved the Nespresso machine. I I loved the floor heating in the bathroom. Buffet breakfast amazing esp the Japanese dishes. Location : true ski in ski out. Hotel shuttle to Hirafu area. Public bus to Annapuri area. Ski hire right next door. Just check your equipment sizes before you leave- some of our party were given different sized boots

Expensive. meat pie 1000yen! Seemed to be a shortage of well trained staff in the restaurants . We really enjoyed our shabu shabu dinner except for the service- there was only 1 waiter who seemed to know about refilling the stock so we ended up waiting ages each time & dinner took over 3h

Room: stunning view from the King Panorama room which was so spacious for 3 adults. Nespresso machine was a big hit. Loved the huge shower with floor heating. Location: suited us as we preferred Annupuri & Niseko Village slopes to Hirafu- much less congested. Very convenient hotel shuttle to Hirafu slopes and restaurants. For Annupuri you have to take the public bus which can get crowded at the end of the day esp with queue jumpers. Ski valet service was very efficient for storing ski gear. Restaurants: Amazing buffet breakfast. Shabushabu at Sisam was pricey but so filling, even our boys who are bottomless pits were full. Walking distance (<5min) to Niseko Yo allowed for more choice of meals. Would recommend Gogyo & Hokkaien Yakiniku.

Better trained staff. The 1st 2 dinners we had possibly the worst service I have encountered for a long time. 1st night was at Moka in Niseko Yo. Entrees and Mains came at random times for our table of 5, one person didn’t get any food until everyone was done. Had been looking forward to trying Moka based on the reviews but with the service and the ok food, won’t be back . Sisam shabushabu next night - service just as patchy with only 1 waiter who seemed to know what was happening. Redeemed by the excellent food (see above)

Where to begin. We went in winter and it was probably the best holiday I've ever had. Snowfalls like you wouldn't believe - literally a foot of fresh powder. Every. Single. Night. For ten straight days! The onsens were amazing, sitting outside in the scorching hot water while big fat snowflakes drift down on you from between the trees. Absolutely magic. Everywhere you looked it was pristine deep powder and trees hanging low under the weight of the snow. The breakfast was the most epic buffet I've ever seen, with the most amazing views of Mt Yotei and surrounding hills. Honestly, not a bad word can be said about the experience except maybe the price being a little high!

Some things were a bit expensive - like the meals. If you don't get meal inclusions with your stay expect to pay quite a bit. We were quoted $200 per person for a Teppanyaki dinner at the hotel. There's plenty of little places to get food from outside the hotel though (like Niseko Yo). Still a little on the pricey side, but much better than the hotel pricing.

Location is amazing, ski slope ends right in front of the lobby which allowed for easy rest stops for water breaks when tired! Niseko village dining options are also available just 3 mins walk away and they are much cheaper as well. But only opens at 11-3 and 5.30 onwards and are usually fully packed during peak seasons. The outdoor onsen views are amazing in winter time and the ski velvet makes things super convenient. Having the ski school, clothing rental and ski pass purchase counter right outside the hotel also ensure that you have everything you need. My parents were not planning to ski but there were winter activities such as the motor sleds available just right outside the hotel as well!

Room is a little small and as it’s a massive hotel, factor for some time during check-in as there’s almost always a queue in the lobby at all times

The view from the onsen was superb in winter! And all but one staff that we encountered are very service-oriented and super friendly, and best of all, there was no language barrier as all could communicate well in English The view from the buffet breakfast was impressive, and the spread and variety of food were equally delightful!

That one gentleman at the concierge area, when I went to borrow the sled, was unfriendly and made me feel very unwelcome during our brief 2-minute encounter. If not for this experience, I would have said that the stay was flawless. If I have to be picky, the bathroom could be more spacious, and incorporating the basin into it would be more ideal. However, this is overshadowed by all the good things here, making it easy to overlook.

Size of room was spacious enough for our family of 3 and we liked the convenience of having a second sink outside the bathroom. Toiletries for kids were cute - teddy bear sponges in different colours and slippers their size. Breakfast buffet was delicious and had both Western and Japanese food. The one convenience store (snacks, drinks, etc) on site was opened until 10:00pm daily - convenient. Outdoor onsen has amazing views (see website). There were enough English speaking staff at the front desk. Location was good for us as we liked skiing Annapuri (via shuttle) and Niseko Village (direct gondola access). For people that like more of a night life, Grand Hirafu area is where the action is (more restaurants, more activity, etc). The Hilton provides a free shuttle to Grand Hirafu, Hanazono and Kutchan but note timetable changes every 2 weeks as the snow season changes from peak to off-peak.

If you didn't feel like eating dinner at The Hilton or at Grand Hirafu (via free shuttle), there is a Village adjacent to the Hilton, but unfortunately, all the restaurants were closed (post-Covid?) with no signage. Only a convenience store was opened until 8:00pm daily.

Location to the ski lifts was great, ski valet was fantastic, complimentary bus service and all round great stay.

I don’t like that the restaurants were expensive to dine at it felt like a tourist trap, therefor in order to have a good meal that didn’t cost a fortune we had to commute to hirafu village instead. The TV would be better if we had access to Netflix as we only had 1 channel that was English half of the time which was a cartoon Channel.
