Located at a nice secluded spot at the foothills of Niseko Annupuri resort, right on the slope, offering calmness and literal "ski out of the door". I would say it is one of the best places in Niseko for those who want to max out the ski time. Very clean and newly refurbished, with few Japanese quirks.

The serenity and seclusion of the spot has a drawback, you need to take shuttle bus for anything other than skiing. Considering the fact that shuttle bus does not run in evenings and that the hotel bar is about as lively as morgue, forget nightlife, go to bed early to rest for next skiing day. Wi-fi is a sad story. Each room has 2 access points, ... so one would assume that the coverage is excellent. But it is configured badly, leading to an overcrowded spectrum and unstable jittery connections instead - forget video calls. Finally, the ski rental is great, but a rip-off price wise, if you are coming for more than a couple of days, it will be cheaper to fly in your own ski.

The view from the window enhanced the stay in a way no other physical amenity could. We stayed in the summer, which has a view of the lush mountain slope directly behind the hotel; during the winter this is probably blanketed by snow, and there's a view of a ski run straight the lifts to the left of the hotel (perfect for skiiing). The onsen was also a very pleasant and invigorating experience; since it was low season, we had it to ourselves for the better part of an hour.

Included breakfast might have been better served with more local choices: the western fare wasn't very good, and there were limited options for what could have been a traditional Japanese breakfast.

I enjoyed my stay at The Green Leaf. Reception staff especially Marla were very helpful and friendly. Ski rental, ski equipment locker, lift tickets and ski school are all housed in an annex attached to the hotel. The hotel is ski out and ski up to the ski locker area. Ski lifts and pistes were easily accessible. The room was a decent size for a Japanese hotel. My room had a great view of Mount Yotei. Ski instructors at the Niseko Village were very good. Niseko Village pistes did not seem as busy as adjoining resorts like Hirafu.

There was only a buffet available in the hotel for dinner, which was expensive. An ala-carte option would be more popular with guests for dinner. It's possible to go to Niseko-Yo which is accessible by gondola-lift in about 15 minutes and has a few places to eat and drink. There should be more coffee machines provided at breakfast, the restaurant gets very busy for the breakfast buffet and the wait at the coffee machines can get very long. There should be more electrical sockets provided with USB charging points and maybe universal electrical sockets. There were 2 sockets at the bedside and another 2 by the TV small desk. All of these sockets were flat 2-pin American style sockets with no USB charging sockets. I think this is a problem with a lot of Japanese hotels.

The location is excellent! We caught the gondola to get to the village the first night, and it was wonderful! Base camp is onsite, covers hot wax, rental, lift tickets, everything was smooth and easy. Love the ski lockers, and heated bench for shoe change. The hotel room was comfortable and clean, we had the resort side view and as our first ski-in, ski-out experience, it's as good as we expected. The only thing about the room was the low humidity, I guess that's what happens with all the cold places that pumps heaters up, other than that, everything has been good!

Everything about the hotel is nice, ski-in-ski-out, easy rental and storage, very nice Onsen facility and staff were super friendly and helpful. The room is clean and decent size, and it is easy to go around the town in shuttle bus provided by the hotel. In general, we are very satisfied with our stay in the Green Leaf.

There is only 1 restaurant in the hotel, so most of the time we need to go somewhere else for dinner as you don't want to eat the same food every day. Breakfast is good but too many people but too little staff. so you need to go early to avoid queue up for breakfast.

Staying near the ski lifts made our trip effortless, with easy access to passes and gear rentals. The rooms were both snug and spotless, offering breathtaking views. The lounge opposite the reception was a cozy retreat, ideal for relaxing post-skiing with a glass of wine..

While our stay at the hotel was overall fantastic, we found the food options to be a bit lacking. Although breakfast was enjoyable initially, it became repetitive over time. Ordering food from the bar left something to be desired – the quality was just average, and the presentation fell short. Thankfully, there were alternative dining choices nearby, easily accessible by gondola or bus.

Amazing ski in/ski out location with rental shop and lift tickets on site. The indoor and outdoor onsens were a great way to start the day. The breakfast buffet was incredible. There's also a nice bar in the lobby. Overall, highly recommend staying here and would 100% return. Best skiing of my life.

The staff could have been more helpful with booking transport to and from the hotel. There was a bit of a language barrier and we were told a few times that we couldn't book the shuttle because the shuttle company "wasn't picking up the phone". Would recommend you sort out transport to and from the hotel a few days in advance.

Great location, right on the slopes, the room was very clean and the staff super friendly. A Big thanks to one of the receptionist, Sindre, who was very helpful with everything. The hotel also have a very nice Onsen and a spa, as well as a laundry where you can wash your clothes yourself, big plus when you’re on ski vacation.

The break fast was a bit boring and the food in general could have been better. The Restaurant felt a like big cantina. We stay in room 249 and the air conditioning was A bit noisy and the floor was cold.

Skiing is amazing! Equipment hire on site, lessons and ski-in ski-out fantastic! Great slopes and multiple lift options. The room was prefect. Good side, comfy bed and decent bathroom. The breakfast offering was good.

The buffet dinner is expensive and pretty bland. We only ate at the restaurant once due to this - perhaps it was just a bad night for them. The burger and chips in the bar was way more tasty and a considerably cheaper option. Having said this, it did apparently come from the restaurant (may have been a lunch menu item) and if you go this route you'll need to order before 5pm.

Location is perfect for skiing. Staffs are nice and very helpful.

The staffs are very helpful. However, I think the number of staffs in the restaurant is not enough especially there is the only one restaurant. The quality of food should be better. There should be a staff at onsen area. Because some of the guests did not follow the rules to use onsen and not respect Japanese culture for onsen. For example, some guests had a converstion with friends very loud , or swam in the pool for onsen, or wearing a towel to get into onsen or even wearing a swimming suit and get into onsen.
