It was very cosy during winter, and a perfect base for a solo traveller visiting for winter sports. Everything was very clean and well-maintained by the staff. The kitchen was well-stocked with cutlery etc and it was easy to prepare meals (which I had pre purchased ingredients for prior to arriving in Niseko, as recommended by other reviewers here). Staff were very friendly and had affordable snacks available for sale at reception.

The mattress on top bunk bed was a little thin and hard, but I folded duvet in half and used it like an open sleeping bag to add extra padding.

We LOVED this hostel! The staff were very nice, we were a 3 min walk from the mountain and shuttle to other ski areas. Good price for the area. The kitchen was fully stocked. There were cheap snacks to purchase in the front which was nice because there isn’t food nearby. There was a room to wax your gear. The showers were super AMAZING! There is also an Onsen a 5 minute walk away for 1000 yen. The lounge was very comfortable with a good vibe allowing us to make friends with a lot of awesome guests!

The beds weren’t very comfortable, but that is usual for Japan. The toilets were semi-dry which caused a bit of a smell in the bathrooms and nearby hallway, but it wasn’t bad. If you don’t have a car, there is not a good grocery store nearby nor in the Niseko area as a whole. There are a couple konbinis (convenience stores) in Hirafu which is where we got our food by taking the local shuttle. Eating out is much more expensive than the rest of Japan and you have to take the shuttle to get there from the hostel. We recommend grocery shopping before coming to the mountain entirely. This is not specific to this hostel, but a general recommendation!

Excellent location 5 min walk from annupuri gondola, spacious living room and full kitchen, lots of space to hang up gear and store skiis(plus full workbench with wax), free laundry facilities, small concession for cup ramen and snacks, overall very good value for Niseko

Beds are extremely thin and uncomfortable. Bathrooms are a bit lacking. Hard to find the owner sometimes. Need to bus to hirafu for konbini+restaurants (45 mins each way). Building itself has no security/locks except on beds

This hostel was perfect for a snowboarding trip. Easy to meet people to ride with. Great dorms with privacy. Big social areas. Just 10 min walk from a great onsen. Am now staying in Harifu and I miss the quiet vibes of Annipuri. Also only a 3 minute walk to the ski lifts.

Better to grab a few groceries in Harifu as there isn't any shop in Annupuri.

Host was kind enough to accommodate a late change to our dates as I made a mistake. Nice affordable guest-house with a good friendly atmosphere. Short walk to the gondola. Roomy corridoors where many people stored skis/boards and luggage. Also some emergency supplies if you need a pack of midnight noodles.

the location is close to Annupuri. The host is very nice and provided me with a room even I just pay for one bed. The whole place is just like home and quiet. Probably it's because I stay during off-season.

I feel a little cold during midnight... I hope this is just my personal issue.

Great Accomodation. It was quiet as I went outside of peak season but its definitely well designed for a fun and social experience. The location near the ski lifts is perfect

A towel rental option perfect this place. The single use towels aren’t great

Great location, friendly people, spent the nights drinking and chatting with the other guests after a hard days skiing.

The local anapurri area doesnt have any shops or anything, so to get dinner you have to to the nearest towns by bus.

Good place to stay close to Annupuri ski lifts reachable by foot. Great location, specially if you have a car to drive around or would like to cook by yourself. There are useful snowboard/boots holders outside each room.
