Good location in lower Hirafu village so can easily access the Grand Hirafu gondola for skiing; large breakfast selection, convenient for skiing as the hotel has a ski locker for your equipment and will offer free ski shuttles before 10am; hotel has elevator, bedroom has small fridge and kettle

Not much soundproofing between the bedrooms, you will hear your neighbours if they talk in their bedroom or use their bathroom/TV but all residents tended to observe the quiet hours between 10PM and 7AM so just bring earplugs to be on the safe side; hot water in the shower was a bit capricious

It is a very pleasant home stay in lower Hirafu, which is accessible by Hirafu free shuttle bus. Room are new, clean and spacious. Staff are helpful with free fetching from JR Kutchan. Breakfast is good with great variety of food and drinks. This hotel also provides ski storage. Hotpot dinner is fantastic. Overall it is a wonderful stay at Q Fox.

Free ride up to the ski area was great. Good value for money. Good selection at breakfast. Nice staff at breakfast. Walking distance to restaurants and shops.

I love the location! It’s walking distance from Grand Hirafu Ski Resort! The staff took care of us… they have a really good breakfast. Baked Pizza and Curry soup are one my favourites :) They have a free coffee vending machine for the guests which includes matcha latte :) We stayed in a family suite and it was big and comfortable :) the view was awesome!

The hotel is located just outside of the center of the town - far enough from too much noise but close enough to walk into the lively section . The hotel provided free shuttle to the ski lifts, which was extremely convenient. Breakfasts, though not “western” traditional were tasty.

The room I was staying in could use bed lamps.

Amazing cosy property with great facilities, restaurants, free shuttle and room to store ski equipment. Owner and all staff were always helpful. Love the easy check in and out method through the iPad. Staff were also extremely accomodating and speak good English. The accomodation is basic, however it is great value for money and the facilities were well kept and clean.

The location is good. Staff is nice but not fluent in English.

we went on winter time but heather in the room was not working. They try to fixed it three times. Keep sending different staff to our room but in the end it didn't get fixed. So we have to stay cold like that

Awesome hotel with a great breakfast buffet and staff that go out of their way to help you. check in process was easy and the hotel offered a free shuttle service to the gondola in the morning. convenient location near the town bus and a short walk to town.
