Modern, luxurious design of the property and apartment. Facilities were more than adequate and staff was always on call to serve you even before arrival. Most importantly, it is a ski in ski out - the slope is just outside from the basement, and i can return my rental equipment right from the lobby to Rhythm. I love that service.

Some minor inconveniences experienced at the hotel, but overall it can be looked past. If I had to nitpick, it was the smoke from the pizza restaurant connected to the lobby at night. One of the room was also near the entrance/exit with the sign visible from the room's frosted glass panel wall. Some people have trouble sleeping in non-pitch black rooms. A proper blackout blind would have solved this issue.

Taking my kid to Niseko for our first-ever ski trip was already a dream come true, and snagging a family room for the three of us last minute was nothing short of a miracle. The whole stay was top-notch, way beyond what I expected. The front desk was super quick and efficient, getting us checked in and up to our room in less than 20 minutes. We'd shipped our ski gear to the hotel from Haneda Airport a week in advance, and the fact that they could store it for us made the start of our trip so much easier. Big shoutout to the two cool guys working over the holidays who helped lug our bags up to the room. Our room wasn't a suite, but it was still spacious, clean, and cozy, complete with a mini kitchen and a washer-dryer. No bathtub, but the mini sauna shower room more than made up for it with a super relaxing shower experience. The studio layout with a 3-meter wide bay window offered an incredible view of the snowy slopes and streets outside – watching the snowfall from inside was just magical! There was also this super thoughtful 2-meter wide ventilated wardrobe by the entrance, perfect for drying out all our snow-soaked gear without making the room smell like a damp locker room, thanks to the heating. And I've got to give a huge shoutout to the front desk manager. On the day we checked out, February 6th, I had no clue you needed to book the bus back to New Chitose Airport in advance. Thankfully, the manager stepped in, called the bus center, and secured seats for us. Super grateful for their efficient and thoughtful help! Plus, they offer this handy service where you can ship your extra luggage to another location. We sent four big suitcases to Haneda Airport, so we could just head out with our backpacks, feeling a bit wiped post-skiing. This luggage shipping service was a game-changer!

I stayed at Maples Niseko and it was the best decision ever! After carefully considering various options, I'm so glad we chose this place. The two-bedroom accommodation we selected was incredibly clean, spacious, and offered a stunning view. We enjoyed every single day of our stay. The kids absolutely loved it too, and the amenities provided were top-notch. The staff at the front desk were extremely friendly and helpful, offering a ride for grocery shopping and guiding us around the area. We also had the pleasure of dining at the fantastic Italian restaurant on-site. Booking in advance allowed us to secure a great price. We had such a fantastic experience that we've already planned to return in December 2024!

It would be great to have an in-house restaurant as it provides much convenience to families with kids.

The room is neat, tidy and spacious. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Katherine from concierge suggested for us to visit an izakaya place called ebitsu tei. She even helped to arrange for a driver to and fro the dinner place. I also did a pilates session at focus with Daniel. He is a very good instructor. After a ski session, it was nice to do some stretching with pilates. It’s the first hotel i have encountered with a pilates studio. Such a unique experience! Appreciate all of these! Thank you so much for making our stay there very pleasant and memorable! Definitely will come back and also recommended!

Facility is quite lacking. No gym or onsen.

excellent location with ski in/out access. Rooms are super new and clean. overall just very comfortable. Staffs are amazing, always helpful! They take care of everything! ski rentals can be arranged to be sent to the hotel and returns too. We had a ground floor room which imo is super convenient, only had to take the lift 1 floor down to the ski lockers. Hotel is situated nearby to restaurants and a pharmacy. you can grab coffee and this awesome sandwich from the little food trucks just outside of this hotel. Room comes with a washer/dryer which is great for drying wet clothings after skiing.

No onsen in house.

This is a true ski in/out hotel, you cannot ask for any better! The bed was comfy and the kitchenette was usable. Having a washer/dryer in the room was tops. People at reception all spoke English and engaged us in conversation on arrival…a rarity in Japan. The hotel is located in harafu, which is the heart of niseko, full of restaurants and bars and shopping.

There are two things that would make this hotel perfection 1/ A chest of drawers, so that I can unpack and not live out of my suitcase. 2/ an onsen. Everything else was over the moon, fabulous.

Excellent location (ski in / ski out) and close to many restaurants / cafes etc. Rooms are modern & very well appointed, large ski lockers in the ski room, onsite Italian Pizzeria.

No major issues but for me the rooms & common areas were heated a little too much, so I would reduce the heating a little to a more comfortable level. Another suggestion would be to add some coat hooks / coat rack to the wall just on the inside of the door where you leave all your shoes, to hang ski jackets / ski pants etc.

Friendly and helpful staff. very convenient location, able to ski in ski out is the best part, free parking. good values of money as the premises is very new, spacious room too. we also use the kitchen to cook a bit for breakfast and dinner. definitely would return in the future

no Onsen is a bit disappointed. Onsen is a main reason to ski in Japan rather than north america / europe.

Great location for skiing and walking to restaurants for dinner.

Only criticism we have is that we booked for the ski in ski out convenience. This was closed due to the neighbouring gondola being under maintenance. We were informed of this after we booked and as it was non refundable we were stuck with it. Everything else was great.

Amazing location right in the thick of things at Hirafu. Staff were predominantly Australians on working holidays but were all lovely. Huge studio apartment, comfortable, modern and delicious traditional wood fired pizza downstairs.

We did pay a premium (about $500/nt) to stay here but this was likely because it fell during Chinese New Year holiday.
