March 2023

Our stay at the hotel was very nice. It was very clean and the spa bath in your own room is just amazing after a long day but beware if you're tall. Bathtubs in japan are generally on the smaller side and my boyfriend is 1.90m so he struggled a bit but managed to deal with it. The bed was pretty hard but after trying multiple hotels in japan i can confirm they are always quite hard. The onsen was also quite nice though a lot louder (due to water flowing) than i thought. Women and men are separated and both onsens have the same interior. There is one hot bath, a whirlpool, a sauna and a washing area where you wash yourself before entering any of the baths or the sauna. Eventhough the information on the website suggests that there is only a sauna for men, there is also one for women. Also: mind that when you enter the changing area, you first take off your shoes and put them in a locker, than you go to the next room and put your clothes in another locker. Once naked or in a towel/bathrobe you take the stairs and go up to the baths and enter naked. Be also aware to wear a towel on your head. Its not a rule i think, but all japanese women did it and i felt weird not to^^. My boyfriend also informed me that he had to wear a boxershort of some sort to wear before he enters the bath room. Another plus for us was the tully's café which is on the ground floor of the hotel. It even had vegan coffee (oatmilk and vegan whipped cream!) There are also two vegan dishes, but I can only recommend the lasagne. It's expensive and a small portion but as a vegan I was pretty happy to be able to eat a lasagne^^.

The tapestry was a bit torn from the wall at one spot. Also, my boyfriend said that he wasnt intructed on how to behave in the onsen, while i was. Since there a few important rules, stafd should try to at least give out laminated information leaflets or so. Other than that we have nothing to complain.

This is a pretty standard "international style" hotel, although by Japan standards, the room was a decent size. It was quite fun having the spa water in the room (it's rare to have a bathtub in Japan). The main hotel onsen was also nice, but know that you have to pay extra for it. Awesome view from my 23rd floor window. Location near to subway and was useful and many places to eat nearby. Walking distance to the main station and convenient locations for bus transfer to the airport. Also lots of close convenience stores for buying breakfast on the run.

The ventilation in my room didn't work so every morning my window was completely steamed up. I mentioned to the hotel staff several times but it wasn't fixed during my stay. This was just a minor inconvenience though (not enough for me to want to change rooms). Breakfast wasn't included in my room rate; I tried it one day but didn't repeat because for the price (over 2000 yen) it wasn't good value (a buffet, but not a particularly impressive one).

We stayed at Hotel Hanshin Osaka for 9 nights our room was massive and had it's own entrance way, the room was also very clean and had a very nice view of the umeda sky building. Checking in and Checking out was very easy and Hotel Hanshin is only a 30 second to 1 minute walk from JR Fukushima Station which is really convenient.

We didn't like the bathroom, in particular the shower and bath, the shower is annoying to use as it doesn't have a joint to tilt the shower head down, the bath also had mold growing underneath where the soap dispensers are. We also didn't like compared to other hotels we stayed in hotel hanshin didn't have a coin operated laundry instead they opt for a paid laundry service, the price of which is pretty expensive. At check out the staff tried to charge me for a laundry service I didn't use.

Simply this the best hotel you can stay in in Osaka, This is my second experience with them and I really love this hotel, The have an exchange machine so you don’t need to find a money exchange server elsewhere, The have a courier service so that you can send you luggage easily to any other city and the price is so cheap, The breakfast is nice and the staff in every team in the hotel are so nice, There is a coffee shop/restaurant in the hotel itself, There are a lot of restaurants and supermarkets around the hotel, Fukushima Station is laterally 2 min away from the hotel, you need only to cross the street, They care about baby’s so it is a prefect hotel for families, I would describe it as the best experience ever and I would love to say thank you to everyone.

Great location; right across from the JR Fukushima station just before the Osaka station, there are many lovely restaurants, bars and several 24H convenient stores. Impeccable house keeping and kind staffs. Quiet room with onsen water supply to the bathtub. The paid public bath was also enjoyable.

Hotel's statement did not include the prepayment to Booking.com but covered only the additional payments directly settled to the hotel. Some hotels do (with mention such as "prepaid through agent" for example) and others do not. It depends on their own corporate policy but as a business traveler, I fount it inconvenient.

The soft bed, great location, good buffet

It was one pillow per bed I will like to have the option with two also I reserved my room with breakfast included for 2 nights and in the end I add an extra night and they don't add me the breakfast on the 3rd night 😞I pay a 3000 extra yens for get the breakfast for 2 people in the 3 day , also my reservation suppose to include the Jacuzzi and spa and they charge me 800 extra yens to use it. One person of the staff said something and the other said different thing. I guess the lady didn't understand very well the English 😞🙄was complicated to express my self and the wifi it not works well in the entire hotel only in the room 🙄

Very well located hotel near Fukushima station and 10 min by foot from Osaka station, perfect to both discover the city and easily go to Universal Studios (10 to 15 min by train). The room was small but comfortable, very quiet, not very modern style but considering the hotel prices in Japan/Osaka, it’s a good price/quality ratio. Breakfast was nice, even for us who are vegans, there was enough dishes to choose from and it was tasty. Of course, it’s always frustrating to not being able to taste everything, like the fried food for example, but at least the food that we could eat was super healthy! We didn’t try the sauna and hot bath because they do not accept visibly tattooed people. However, if you have a small enough tattoo, it’s ok if you cover it. So we took baths in our room instead with the hot spring water. Not quite as nice than a real bath experience because the bathtub is very small. So overall, a few pickles but overall a nice hotel, perfect for a few days in the city!

Small bathtub, old school design.

The room is spacious, as compared with other 4-star hotels in Japan. The breakfast is delicious and good for its value. The location is very close to two JR stations (within 3 min's walk for one and within 6 min's walk for the other). The in-room bath tub can offer hotspring water within your room.

The location is not close to Metro. So if you buy Osaka Amazing Pass (2-day) which is very good for sightseeing and local transportation, this Amazing Pass does not cover JR tickets and you have to pay extra fares (because Metro tickets are included in the Amazing Pass but JR tickets are not). Toiletries are generally ok but the toothbrush quality is poor. In-room hotspring has to be handled with care, and there is no extra shower as per the Japanese tradition. The public bath in the hotel charges extra, even for hotel guests.
