Lovely comfortable hotel in a quiet location. We booked a superior double for myself and husband, and a Hollywood twin for my daughter and sister in law. Both rooms were a good size with plenty of space for 2 people plus luggage. Very clean and staff were very friendly and welcoming. Good location next to a metro station and easy to get around the city. Just a short walk in every direction gets you to many restaurants. We found the best burgers ever just a 5 minute walk away over the river towards Osaka station (Craft Burger Co) - can totally recommend this for the best burgers, great drinks and great atmosphere.

Hard to find something not to like. Comfortable and clean and a good price as we booked quite far in advance. Can’t fault anything really.

Beds were spacious and super comfortable and great shower pressure with multiple shower heads. Nice and close to a couple of Metro stations. Plenty of restaurants in the area and a Lawsons right across the road and 7/11 and Starbucks close by. Nice to have complimentary tea and coffee in the lobby.

Lots of bulky furniture made the room feel cramped. Wasn't as clean as other hotel rooms we'd experienced in Japan. Our room was very close to the freeway, so it was a little noisy. We stayed 4 nights and never saw the on-site restaurant open.

Best included breakfast ever! You get five options. The hotel's breakfast room is actually a small restaurant in an attractive space on ground floor. When we arrived by taxi at lunch hour we saw people lined up outside. It offers five options--everything from curry set to French toast, all good! Room is small but well-designed, bed very big and comfortable, staff friendly, good about keeping luggage. For a room of this quality in downtown Osaka, this is good value.

Really nothing--the elevator is tiny, which means you might wait in the morning to get down to check out or breakfast, and so is the bathroom, but that is par for the course in Japan.

The staff were amazing! We arrived into Osaka very early, with a busy day scheduled, and we were able to leave our bags with reception. When we got back at 10pm they had taken our bags up to our room for us! The bed was also the most comfortable bed we have ever slept in, and the rain shower was too luxurious! They have even installed apple TV’s in their rooms, so you can watch whatever you would like, or cast from your apple device. It is located close to two train stations, has a convenience store right next door, and a restaurant downstairs. Out of all the places we stayed in Japan, Hotel Cordia was our favourite. We can’t wait to stay here again in the future.

Very comfortable stay in a convenient location in Osaka. hotel had all amenities required - laundry and vending machines, free coffee, pajamas and comfortable beds. Rooms not very big (couldn’t fully open suitcase in our double room!) but excellent value so no complaints!

I was disappointed the hotel would not help make restaurant reservations until we checked in. As were only staying a few nights, I was worried by waiting so late the restaurants would be full. We arrived around 11:30 at the hotel and they wouldn’t help make reservations until after we checked in after 3pm. I understand it is because the hotel have had issues with no shows and in the end we were successful filmmaking reservations late, but I would have hoped for more flexibility on this.

Location was great for us. We were able to walk to the lively Dotonbori area and the Osaka castle. Due to the heat though, we did taxi back from both locations at reasonable fares. Lawson and 7-11 shops very close by. Laundry facilities were great - 400 yen for a full wash load including detergent. Ice machine available as well. Room was compact - big bed, couch, charging cords, pyjamas and toiletries supplied. Very reasonable room rate for Japan. Clean and well-serviced. Recommend Hotel Cordia. (We didn’t try the restaurant.)

Clean room and nice bathroom. There was a fridge, safe box, power for phones, everything you'd need in the room. The breakfast was very good and the staff nice. The front desk was helpful in giving information on airport transportation. The bed was really comfortable and the pajamas in the room were lovely. It was quiet, clean and modern. The overall feel was clean and well run and modern, for a reasonable cost.

It was in more of a business district, but taking the subway to shopping areas was easy. The room was a little small but fine for a few nights. Not many negatives - we'd stay there again.

The location was fine in a very urban area, our view was on the highway but this just added to the experience. Also the room was well sound insulated (but you could still here the city noises). We liked the couch in our room. The staff was very helpful.

Nothing big, but the room is starting to look a bit worn out, especially the carpet and the couch. Only part of the breakfast is buffet-style, you need to order one of the options to get a big and well prepared toast if western style breakfast is requested.

My favorite thing by far was the breakfast included with the room. Usually, a Japanese business hotel has a breakfast buffet with some standard Japanese and Western options, but this one included a restaurant meal prepared fresh to order. I got the french toast and it knocked my socks off. Everything else was nice, clean, standard for a Japanese business hotel. Nothing to complain about but nothing to gush over either.

I accidentally went to the Hotel Cordia Hommachi first and then had to walk to the Hotel Cordia. It's my own fault, but I do wish they were a little more distinct on the map. They had printouts at Hommachi for how to get to regular Cordia ready, so it's clearly something that happens decently often. The location also didn't have much to eat after 10pm when I got in. The Lawson across the street was actually closed. First time I've ever seen a closed Lawson.

I stayed at Cordia Osaka back in 2019 and so when I had the opportunity to visit Osaka again, I chose it again too. I love the decor/style of the rooms. They feel so warm and inviting. Location is excellent with two metro lines close by (one practically next door). The staff were great. The free coffee was excellent too. If I get another opportunity to visit Osaka I will definitely look into Cordia Osaka again (as long as the rates stay reasonable :) )
