The perfect location if you want to be in the centre of DenDen Town. I chose the hotel primarily for location, as my OH is an electronics buff, and it was just around the corner from a shop he particularly likes. Staff were great, and very helpful. There was no breakfast, but in the lobby there were extra drinks and soup facilities. Our room had a great view up and down the main street, although it wasn't noisy. I would stay here again. It suited us perfectly for this short visit. I hadn't realised just how close were were to Osaka castle (bus/cab ride away, or walk if you are very energetic) - somewhere I want to visit next time.

Although there was no breakfast option, in the lobby you can get free miso soup and drinks free of charge. Rooms were good. Rooms had enough natural light, as well as clean. Location is good if you want to feel Namba and Dotonbori vibe, bus still sleep quietly at night. Dotonbori is around 20 min on foot. This is our second time staying here. I liked that the corridor of each floor is semi outside. I don't know what would i say if there was a huge rain, on very cold weather, but i liked to feel the fresh non-air-conditioned weather.

There was a big change of staff during our 3 nights stay, they were undoubtedly polite and kind. However, this big change had it's downfalls. When one of the receptionist kindly allowed us to leave our luggage overnight at the lobby, once that day actually came, the next receptionist refused to do so. I had to convince him because it was already too late to find any other alternatives, especially knowing that we are supposed to come back and stay at the same hotel the next night.

Location, the Staff, amenities and cleanliness of the place. Despite the hotel situated facing a main road, it wasn't noisy. I love that Namba Station going to/fro airport is walkable from the hotel. Some tourist spots are nearby too!

None in general. We are satisified and can book again here if we will stay in Osaka. We think the bathroom could be really small for tall people. Also, we requested for a room in the lower floor not knowing there'll be no view, but not a big cracker deal.

The location and the staff are exceptional. It is a short walk to a major train station so getting around to other attractions is easy. Extremely kind and helpful staff. There is also a coin laundry nearby which was convenient.

The water temperature went from hot to cold unexpectedly while showering which was annoying. There is a 6-inch step up to get into the bathroom which could be a tripping hazard if you forget. In our twin room each bed only had one pillow which made sleeping sometimes uncomfortable. Room is small, but that's expected for Japan and not a major issue.

I strongly recommend Nipponbashi Crystal Hotel for its value and location, which is a short walk to Kuromon Ichiba market and the nearby shopping districts. Most importantly, our service experience and provided amenities were really good. I noticed that the room must have decent soundproofing as it was very quiet, despite the car noise happening on the night we arrived. Pretty much everything about this hotel was perfect! The location is in Den Den Town, with the Shinsekai & Dotonbori 'districts' within 15M walking distance each. There are lots of shops and restaurants to find. Enough of the staff spoke English to help you with any problems you have. There are free amenities available near the lift and check in counter such as razor blades, brushes, etc. Price I paid was also very affordable. Highly recommended!

Some kind of safe to keep valuables in the room would have been nice, but this is the only real thing I was missing during my stay, everything else was great!

I liked how they had a selection of free drinks near the entrance of the hotel. I liked how they had a small communal eating area with a microwave because it was convenient for us to buy stuff back to eat without having to eat on our beds. They were also nice enough to give us complimentary champagne for our honeymoon.

The corridor to the room was somewhat exposed to the elements as the wall wasn't a building wall per se so that made the hotel vibe a little funny.

The location is great, at walking distance from Namba station and Dotombori. The rooms are really clean and comfortable and the bathroom rather spacious compared to similar hotels in Japan. The staff was friendly and helpful; and the free drinks in the lobby is a real plus!

This is a very minor inconvenience, but the room cleaning service is "opt in", and we happen to miss the timing to bring the key-card at the front desk to apply for the service. The fault is totally on me; but I think this could have been more seamless.

- The room for its money is just perfect value. Clean, has bathtub, and quite spacious (I stayed alone in a queen room). - Very comfortable beds, one of the best on my Japan trip. - Nice view, could open windows to air the room. - Free tea, water, and miso soup on ground level are very convenient.

- The hotel is a bit far from train stations. On the good side, it's within walking distance to Dōtonbori and Shin Sekai. - Lifts are a little slow.
