Very clean, well presented rooms. Had the family room which was a good size for 4 adults. It would be perfect for families with kids that want a cheap stay. Check in is all self managed. Once we had checked in on the tablet, the receptionist called to confirm we had all the room details, great service. Communal area and balcony was very clean and usable. Didn’t hear any other guests. It’s thin line between hostel and hotel. Very close to all the main markets too.

Futon mattresses across all Japan seem to be quite thin. This was ok for me but we doubled up the mattress for one of the couples.

Layout was nice, good for a group of 5. Lots of storage under the one set of bunk beds and in the other room near the wall. Shower and toilet room was good and having the sink in the main room was useful when getting ready for bed. Checkin was easy, the host helped us via speaker/camera at the main entrance at 11pm when we got in which was much appreciated.

The Japanese style beds on the floor could have been more comfortable but wasn't a big problem. No elevator so had to carry luggage up the stairs.

Amazing location within walking distance to many tourist areas. Room was very clean and spacious (the four of us were able to leave all four of our suitcases open, and still have a little seating area). There's a nice common area on the fourth floor with a kitchen, washroom, balcony, washing machine, etc. The host was lovely and offered us extra towels since we were staying for a longer period of time. Although it was self check-in, he was there to guide us through it when we arrived. They don't handle luggage forwarding, but the host said he could help us fill out the forms. One lightbulb went out during our stay and it was very quickly replaced.

I wish there was a recycling bin for bottles, and the tatami beds weren't the most comfortable (but it could just be because we're not used to it).

Location is within walking distance to subway stations, Kuromon market and even Dotombori. There’s seven eleven and family mart everywhere. We just bought groceries and then cook breakfast in the common kitchen located on the 4th floor. Laundry is outside the porch area on the 4th floor as well. So much autonomy. I feel like it’s a home away from home. Management is very responsive to any concerns or questions and speaks English which really helps a lot. Just send him a message through the booking site and he responds right away. There’s umbrellas in the lobby for guests to use, rain or shine. You can go in and out of the hostel anytime using a Code.

The pillows were hard. Also the futon we used on the wood floor were thin. By the time we woke up in the morning, our backs were kind of stiff. Especially my husband who’s got back problem. We booked the Japanese style room good for six people and there’s only 5 of us. Still it’s a little tight. But hey it’s worth the money we paid for.

There was a lot of autonomy given that it wasn’t a traditional hotel. There wasn’t really any service but we didn’t mind since we were mostly doing our own thing. The room was clean and a decent size for small group. The location was very convenient, especially with a Family Mart located just steps away.

It would have been nice if they came in to change the trash for guests with longer stays, or provided directions to a hostel garbage bin for us to take out our own trash. Since we couldn’t find any garbage disposals, the we couldn’t really take out the trash. The room also had a weird smell coming from the bathroom which made the experience slightly less enjoyable. The room was decently sized but we did find the beds pretty hard (we even got bruises on our hips!).

Very clean and comfortable. The room was spacious, the bathroom have all u need. Towels and hair dryer are provided. The 4F sharing space was comfortable, clean and awesome! Staff was friendly. Instructions was clear. The main door and the room door have keypad lock. It is near to Kuromon market, DenDen town, Dotonbori, and Namba Walk.

The other customers who ruined the 4F sharing space, and left the whole place in a mess.

The room is big. The staff is so nice. There are many suggestion from the staff for going place or recommendation restaurants. It’s located near nippombashi station walk by 5 mins and namba station walk by 10 mins. Moreover, it’s not far from restaurant and shopping street. There is a common room for cook and warm the food. The bathroom has a shower and an automatic toilet.

There is only stairs for upper floor.

Location is very good. Near stations. Near supermarket, family mart, kuromon market. The place is very clean and modern. There is washer and dryer in the hostel. All shampoo, conditioner and wash are from sheshido. Love the auto light in toilet and tiolet seat. There is also family area at the 4th level where there is a fridge, toaster and microwave. Will go back again. Respond us very fast and prompt. Wifi is good.

No lift. Have extra floor mat at the sink will be good.

The property has it’s own laundry and umbrellas that we can use to especially that it was raining we we stayed in Osaka. It is near to Kuromon market where you can explore foods and enjoy the place

The narrow stairs where in you really need to be extra careful upon going down

The location is nice and the price is really good! The kitchen and shared space is cute and cozy.

There are too much dusk in the room when we stayed. It might be hard for people with allergies. The check-out time is a bit too early compared to other hostels.
